In this exciting newly-created role, you will act as owner and operational lead for an ambitious multi-year plan for DEI for the organisation – putting systems and structures in place to enable the charity to embed DEI throughout operational and strategic activities.

 As the lead for DEI for the organisation overall, you will ensure that the charity’s external work is focused on achieving greater equity for children, young people and adults, especially by ensuring an anti-racism approach within all programmes and by promoting these approaches in policy and communications work.

The successful candidate will have experience in leading successful change projects, implementing DEI strategies and plans, with a detailed understanding of intersectionality. The ability to generate safe reflective spaces for people to share, learn together and encourage mutual ownership is key, as is the ability to think strategically, shaping organisational thinking around DEI.

• 2+ years experience in leading, designing and implementing local or national fundraising community building strategies and demonstrable understanding of their reach and/or impacts;

• An understanding of and experience in developing long-term supporter commitment through regular giving and partnerships with donors;

• A strong experience of managing fundraising campaigns through different social media platforms and digital marketing strategies;

• An understanding of how to reach different segments of the population with fundraising messaging, including young people;

• Experience with CRM software (we use Beacon) and Mailchimp for managing campaigns and donor communications;

• Project-management experience, including planning and budget management;

• A strong commitment to our values of trust, solidarity and equity – and an understanding of why these are so important in a fairer funding system;

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and committed Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of ProVeg International as a growing network of organisations, and to manage international financial relations between all national ProVeg entities, including driving the organisation’s financial strategy and planning. Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy, Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, cash flow and forecasts to support strategic business planning and decision-making.
   
• Budget Management: Oversee and lead on the annual international budgeting and planning process (involving all ProVeg entities and departments). Administer and review all international financial plans and budgets; maintain all program budgets.
   
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly (P&L and balance sheets) management reports, quarterly variance reports, annual financial reports, donor-specific or grant reports, and other income generation reports to the Global CEO, and Senior Leadership Team.
   
• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. 
   
• Financial Risk & Compliance Management: Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk, leverage financial opportunities, and ensure financial compliance with charity laws and other guidelines. Remain up-to-date on best practices in non-profit finance, and relevant laws regarding non-profit operation. 
   
• Finance Operations and governance: Oversee and improve internal financial policies and procedures such as implementation of central finance software, donations and grants tracking, ensuring value for money by applying internal auditing principles, and advising/supporting country directors and finance managers as well as organisations joining the ProVeg global network.

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting qualification preferred, though candidates qualified by experience will be considered. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field desirable; graduate degree or CPA preferred.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the non-profit sector. Experience of implementing and maintaining strong financial controls.

• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.

• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and finance operations.

• Excellent data skills, including Google Workspace, with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software. Desirable: experience of implementing new accounting software.

• Calm and professional attitude, high level of integrity, accuracy, and a strong sense for due diligence.

• Experience consolidating multiple entities, ideally including different currencies.

• Collaborative attitude, solution-focused, and supportive of international colleagues (particularly Country Directors & Country Finance Managers, International Department Heads and International Operations team).

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a PA to the Archdeacon of Northolt and Willesden Area Administrator to play a key role within the Willesden team, based from Causton Street. 

Job Summary 

The purpose of the PA role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Archdeacon of Northolt in the Willesden area, ensuring efficient handling of communications, management of her diary, and maintenance of records. This includes coordinating travel arrangements, organising meetings, compiling communications materials, and managing various financial tasks. Additionally, the PA plays a vital role in upholding confidentiality, being a source of support in the making of difficult decisions and assisting with safeguarding. The PA carries a vital role in linking Clergy, Church Wardens, and others to the support available to them in the Diocesan office and helping them feel supported and heard when they contact the Archdeacons office for help.

The Willesden Area Administrator is a member of the Area staff responsible for the efficient and effective running of the office. (s)he has strong links to the Bishops office, other members of the Archdeaconry Team, the Area Director of Ministry and his PA, other Area Staff, people in the parishes especially Church Wardens and church administrators, as well as key external stakeholders such as local authorities, businesses, architects and partner organisations. 

Job responsibilities 

Administrative 

• Proactive management of mail, enquiries, telephone calls, e-mail, using initiative when referring upwards and flagging issues with the Archdeacon 

• Diary management – forward planning of events and specific projects and day-to-day management of the Archdeaconry diaries.

Main Responsibilities

As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser's, you'll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. You'll be able to demonstrate a track record of meeting income targets through relationship fundraising. A proactive person, you'll be self-motivated and able to work independently with a solution focussed approach. As an experienced fundraiser, you'll be confident working towards income and expenditure targets and reporting on financial progress. It is desirable that you have managed and secured corporate partnerships and have event management knowledge, though training will be provided.

You will have a passion for building excellent relationships with your supporters to increase loyalty and life-long relationships with the charity.

About You 

To be successful in this role, you'll need to bring significant experience and deep expertise in Employee Relations and UK Employment Law, with a proven track record in managing complex cases. You should have exceptional stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

With MCIPD qualifications (or equivalent experience), you’ll be able to confidently guide our HR team and managers through the employee relations cycle, pay and reward challenges, and the nuances of HR data reporting. Job Purpose: 

The Head of Brand and Content plays a lead role in managing the brand, overseeing the production of content, coordinating content across all channels and ensuring that it follows MSF’s objectives in terms of operations, fundraising, advocacy and recruitment.

About the role

We’re looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join our Individual Giving and Legacy Team.

It’s an exciting time to join the Legacy Team as we are embarking on a new era for legacy and in memory giving at Young Lives vs Cancer.  In memory giving and gifts in Wills left to us by our supporters are essential to ensuring we can help generations of children and young people who will sadly be living with a cancer diagnosis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legacy Marketing Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the Legacy Marketing Manager to plan, implement and deliver legacy and in-memory strategies.

The Legacy Officer will work on a range of legacy and in-memory campaigns, materials and supporter centric journeys across multiple channels.  As a team we will maximise legacy and in memory giving and acquire new legacy and in memory supporters, as well as nurturing existing supporters who have expressed an interest in leaving a gift in their Will for the future of Young Lives vs Cancer’s work. 

The role will suit a passionate and creative individual who thrives on working collaboratively and who is able to manage end to end projects and supplier relationships.  There will be a need to analyse data to monitor performance as well as identifying trends and opportunities. Fulfilment mapping is also a key element of the role as well as being comfortable presenting in person to colleagues and suppliers.

What will I be doing?
