We are looking for a well-organised, highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a full-time Youth Worker (Youth Voice), supporting our mission to enable young people who are homeless, facing homelessness or unsafe to achieve independence and positive futures.
The successful candidate will work within the Youth Work Team to deliver our frontline drop-in service and support our weekly and monthly activities to all young people experiencing homelessness.
You’ll specialise in ensuring a diverse range of young people’s voices are heard, facilitating inclusive activities which increase youth participation across all our services and leading on the delivery of our youth forums. We have an ambitious plan to improve and accelerate our youth voice strategy and this role will be at the heart of this delivery.
You should be experienced in designing, planning and facilitating a range of activities and group work with and for young people and be able to work dynamically in a fast-paced day centre environment. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about youth engagement and skilled in bringing out the ideas, voices and opinions of young people to shape service delivery. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a background in running participatory youth projects, co-production, youth engagement sessions and/or community engagement.
The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working collaboratively across our organisation. This role also includes working closely with our Campaigns, Impact and Policy team to ensure young people’s voices are at the heart of our external campaigning work.
Finally, you will also be committed to the safeguarding of young people and delivering an inclusive and trauma-informed service.
This role will be based at our day centre in Camden, with some travel to other New Horizon projects within London.

This role will join TCV at an exciting time for our charity. You will be central to a small immediate Fundraising team and a wider income generation directorate. About Stema:
Stema is a small Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) founded to advance the education of the public in the field of global health. Our research centres upon community health, positive health, participatory methods and agentic approaches. Our mission is to catalyse positive disruptions in the field of global health through publishing research and developing tools and partnerships. We are a small, international team of academics, entrepreneurs and development professionals.
Our focus over the last year has been developing alternative approaches to community health and sustainable development, leading to the development of the concept of community positive health and creation of an index to measure community positive health. Our approach is informed by extensive participatory fieldwork in low-resource settings around the world, for example Kenya, Peru and Sierra Leone. Our work is supported by rigorous scientific research in partnership with leading academic institutions, NGOs and in-country research institutions, for example University College London, Oregon State University, and Safe Water and Aids Project.
Stema has been backed by a single funding source to date. We are now looking to expand and diversify our revenue streams, providing an exciting opportunity for the CEO to develop and implement a sustainable fundraising strategy. Community Fundraising Officer – Temporary Position from July 24 for 6 months (£24-25k)

You will become the fourth member of the Fundraising Team (there are 3 full time staff) and will help to support the fundraising team.
Sepsis is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. There are over 245,000 cases each year in the UK with approximately 48,000 deaths. UKST aims to reduce preventable deaths from this ‘killer’ condition. We achieve this by:

· Lobbying political organisations for better sepsis and severe infection care
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver supporter journeys i.e. fundraising resources and stewardship communications to maximise supporter numbers, retention and engagement.
2. Use UKST’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) to accurately capture fundraiser information and key data contributing to the improved development and implementation of fundraising processes.
3. Communicate proactively and effectively with team members to pass on all relevant information, deliver excellent supporter care and to maximise fundraising opportunities.
4. Provide excellent customer service members of the public, either via phone, mail and in person, help to develop Fundraising activity whilst also offering our Support Services where necessary.
5. Represent the charity as and when required in schools, local businesses, and community groups, including speaking at events if – not essential
6. Keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and ensure compliance with the latest legislation and guidelines.
7. Assist in prioritising & managing enquiries about our Community Fundraising Programme via our dedicated inboxes.
8. Work collaboratively with the fundraising team and our Communications and Marketing Team to ensure maximum press and social media coverage is obtained for UKST’s community fundraising activities.

Job Purpose
This is a critical role, sitting at the heart of hyh, the purpose of which is to provide high quality administrative support to the CEO, coordinate and administer the leadership and governance of the organisation and oversee the smooth running of the office.
Administration and Support for the CEO
- Be a step ahead at all times in providing executive support to the CEO including: diary organisation, making appointments, responding to invitations, dealing with correspondence, and liaising with external partners and arranging travel.
- Conduct research, prepare papers and briefings, produce PowerPoint presentations.
- Project support for organisation wide projects.
Leadership and governance support
- Plan and coordinate the efficient running of leadership and governance meeting cycles, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, circulating documents, collating reports, minute taking, maintaining action logs, arranging refreshments etc. This includes the Board of Trustees and two sub-committees (Governance and Finance), Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Leadership Team (LT).
- Provide high level admin support to other members of the SLT as required (Head of Services, Head of Fundraising & Communications, Finance Manager).
- Coordination and administration of internal staff meetings and communications, including monthly Team Briefings and bi-annual Organisation Days.
- Provide on-going support to Trustees, including responsibility for their induction and on-going training
- Maintain and update trustee records and registers, including Charity Commission and Companies House registrations.
- Manage our policies and procedures and oversee the annual cycle of policy reviews.
Office management
- Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the office, ensuring that it is a great working environment for staff where supplies never run out, the office is clean and tidy, and all staff have the furniture and equipment they need.
- Coordinate a small team of office/admin volunteers to provide excellent support to the wider hyh team.
- Build and maintain service and supplier contracts and relationships, including our landlord, telephones, broadband, lone working devices, phones, printers and cleaning.
- Be the main contact for our IT managed services provider and act as the internal contact point for any IT queries.
Organisational support
- Support the SLT with our day to day health and safety compliance including administering Health and Safety Committee meetings, carrying out workstation assessments and conducting regular H&S checks and annual PAT testing.
- Support the SLT with our data protection including administering GDPR Committee meetings, managing the relationship with our external Data Protection consultant and acting as the internal point of contact.
- Provide staff induction and on-boarding in relation to the office, IT and equipment.
Skills and experience:
- Significant experience as a senior Executive Assistant at CEO level.
- Significant levels of office management experience.
- Strong administrative background, ideally with experience working in the non-profit sector but not essential
- Experience managing and overseeing contracts, ensuring the service providers are excellent value for money.
- Experience acting as secretariat to boards of trustees or similar governance bodies.
- Experience managing people in paid or voluntary roles.
- Excellent communicator in formal and informal communications, both verbally and in writing, to all stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate sensitively
- Target-focused and results-driven with highly effective time management and exemplary prioritisation and planning skills.

About You
The successful candidate will be employed by the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s host organisation, The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts. The new team member will be pivotal in the delivery of the Peatland Programme’s objectives to champion peatland values. They will have the level of knowledge and experience to drive forward and promote peatland restoration in the UK and be able to advocate the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy and effective practice, and communication.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Communications and Engagement Lead to drive and deliver the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s communications activity to promote the benefits of healthy peatlands to a national audience. This will be done primarily through establishing and maintaining good relationships with external contacts and partners and using these networks to identify opportunities and to build the Programme’s reach. You will lead the production of communications materials through design and appropriate messaging, assist their advocacy work, and plan and deliver events such as online workshops and their annual conference.
They are looking for someone who is passionate about communicating peatlands to a wide audience and is creative and proactive in their approach. The peatland agenda has expanded exponentially over the last 10 years and you will need to be an excellent team player and networker to capture what is happening and communicate this to multiple partners and stakeholders. The Communications and Engagement Lead post is a standalone communications post within a small team (9 people) and your ability to quickly develop good relationships with partner organisations will be critical to your success in the role.
You will be lead on the delivery of the communications strand of the Peatland Programme’s activity. You should have experience of designing publications, creating digital content, newsletters, running stakeholder events and managing social media accounts. You will support the wider Peatland Programme team in networking, identifying opportunities for collaboration, as well as in the production of resources such as briefings and web content.

Role Summary
The Programme Coordinator (Scotland) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in Scotland and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online within a bespoke Scottish context/approach. This will require detailed knowledge and understanding of the education and screen industry landscape in Scotland.
Due to the nature of the role, occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with regular travel to designated regions and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver various elements of the new Into Film programme in Scotland including, but not limited to, CPD/training for teachers at all career stages, events, conferences, round tables, Teachmeet style gatherings and teacher panels both online and face to face
- To develop, sustain and be the local point of contact for schools, partners, individuals and organisations that add value or are users of the Into Film programme including a focus on EEDI and how Into Film can specifically, positively reach and include those who are underserved and underrepresented.
- To feed into and then deliver the plans in Scotland across the programme (including Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression and Young Creatives (plus Into Film Festival, Into Film Awards and additionally funded programmes, as needed)
- To work with all departments at Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach and delivery of set outcomes, KPIs whilst adhering to budgets and deadlines
- To ensure Scotland-wide reach and to feed into UK wide work and awareness of Into Film Programmes responding where possible to local needs
- Activation and delivery of the programme across Scotland including feeding relevant regional content into email campaigns and managing the regional social media account.

Person Specification:
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the Scotland landscape including education policy and curriculum, and the screen industries.

Background
The European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) is one of the world’s pre-eminent symphony orchestras. An orchestra of dynamism, youthful energy, and passion shaped afresh each year with highly talented musicians from all 27 EU Member States. Recognised across the world for the excellence of its music-making, and for its success in nurturing the careers of generations of young musicians, the EUYO is always at the forefront, anticipating and reacting to the changing world around it, equipping its members for careers in that world and forging change within the classical music and cultural sectors.
For the past half-decade, the statutory public funding won by the EUYO was sufficient to finance its activities. Now, with a new base in Austria, an expanded programme, preparations for its 50th anniversary, and with the challenges of current general global uncertainty, the EUYO wishes to extend its revenue base by reigniting its previously strong tradition in private funding and corporate relationships, beginning with the recruitment of a Head of Development and Philanthropy. The Head of Development and Philanthropy will have responsibility for fundraising from corporates, individuals and trusts and foundations. The responsibility for the EUYO’s statutory public funding from EU, EU member state and local and regional public institutions will continue to be held by the Executive & Artistic Director and the Head of Executive & Finance.
In order to assist this process, the last year 18 months have been used by the Orchestra to create and put in place new development processes and initial donors, including utilising a skilled volunteer Board level fundraising committee, setting up a cross border tax incentive scheme, creating a new bespoke CRM integrated with the Orchestra’s database, creating a new website support area, initiating new patrons and individuals programmes and the base strategy for a new alumni programme, and recruiting new initial corporate donors. Now, with all of these processes and achievements in place, the EUYO seeks a dynamic entrepreneurial fundraiser to help deliver the Orchestra’s exciting future programme, and over time, to grow a fundraising team as income generation builds.
Purpose of role

we are now seeking an exceptional Head of Development and Philanthropy to join that team. The
successful applicant will start at an exciting and pivotal moment.
Reporting to the Executive and Artistic Director, this role will suit a dynamic, ambitious, collegiate and entrepreneurial individual. Working in close collaboration with colleagues, you will be responsible for shaping the nature of the EUYO’s fundraising. - Continued delivery of the organisation’s fundraising strategy, alongside the opportunity to also develop, rethink and remould it, all in consultation with the Executive and Artistic Director and with the support of our Fundraising Committee, Board, Advisory Council and key stakeholders across the EU.
- Build on EUYO’s compelling case for support and identify specific projects which align with the EUYO’s strategic plan, and which demonstrate the difference that philanthropy will make in delivering on the mission.
- Work with the Executive and Artistic Director and the Head of Communications and Advocacy to ensure together a cohesive integrated public facing language for the organisation in its communications, balancing the needs of different audiences
- Sustain a range of giving programmes: membership, appeals and major giving opportunities which appeal to donors and can be delivered with available resources.
- Ensure systems for renewal of current supporters and developing a pipeline of future donors, which includes a range of corporates, individuals, and trusts and foundations.
- Work with the Fundraising Committee to develop annual appeals and create a strategic plan for the 50th Anniversary Appeal.
- Work with the finance team to analyse the effectiveness of different fundraising initiatives, manage budgets and support financial reporting.
- Co-ordinate monitoring, evaluation and reporting for all non-funded projects, with EUYO colleagues.
- Regularly circulate information about the EUYO engagements and initiatives to Directors, corporate supporters, and donors.
- Maintain positive working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
Governance and finance
- Keep up to date with changes in fundraising regulation and ensure implementation where required.
- Work with the Head of Executive and Finance to set and manage expenditure and report on ROI.
- Manage quarterly Fundraising Committee meetings in conjunction with the Committee Chair.
- Work with the Fundraising Committee to research new potential committee members.
- Regularly review the Fundraising Policy and associated policies.
- Ensure appropriate fundraising due diligence is completed when appropriate.
- Ensure the EUYO is operating best practice in its fundraising, keeping up to date with any changes in compliance, legislation, and fundraising methodologies.
- Keep up to date on tax matters relating to charitable giving, ensuring the EUYO is maximising income from tax concessions.
- Work with the Communications Team to source suitable donation platforms and software and maintain the EUYO’s fundraising database.
- Work with the Communications Team to manage the fundraising complaints register.
Individual giving
- Build on and develop the current major donor strategy to secure long term support.
- Manage the EUYO’s membership and patron’s programmes with the support of the Communications Team.
- Manage existing donor membership schemes and increase membership year-on-year.
- Research and cultivate a pool of prospective individual donors in conjunction with the Executive and Artistic Director, Trustees and Directors and maintain close relationships with existing donors.
- Build on and develop an annual appeal for individual donors.
- Devise new ways of attracting donors using the EUYO’s website and social media channels, beneficiaries and alumni.
Corporate giving
- Develop a healthy prospect list of companies, both nationally and internationally.
- Develop corporate sponsorship and partnership proposals.
- Work with the Executive and Artistic Director, Fundraising Committee, Board and Advisory Council to cultivate and steward corporate partners.
- Explore the potential of corporate membership and, if implemented, administer and service the Corporate Membership Scheme, maintaining close relationships with the members’ nominated contacts, circulating information, and ensuring that members enjoy the full extent of the benefits.
- Ensure all corporate partners and sponsors receive appropriate reports as required and in a timely manner.
Trusts and foundations
- Develop a pipeline of trusts and foundation prospects, working with the Executive and Artistic Director and the Head of Executive and Finance to develop appropriate resource for this new pipeline of prospects where necessary.
- Research and apply for funding from trusts and foundations.
- Work with the EUYO colleagues to measure impact and outputs from grant funding.
- Monitor delivery progress and ensure reporting according to grant funding requirements.
- Maintain relationships with trusts and foundations who are already giving to the EUYO, keeping them informed of the EUYO’s activities and of the results and benefits generated by their donation.
Profile

North Yorkshire Hospice Care (known to its local communities as either Saint Michael’s Hospice, Herriot Hospice or Just ‘B’) has a great opportunity for someone to join their fabulous Fundraising Team as a Relationship Fundraiser. If you are energetic, passionate, and looking to develop a career in fundraising whilst ensuring everyone has access to local hospice care, emotional wellbeing and bereavement support, this role is for you.
This is an excellent opportunity for proactive candidates with experience working within Individual Giving, In Memory or Legacy giving, to work in a growing area of the charity. With a varied workload, as a Relationship Fundraiser you will help secure a crucial source of income for the charity.
The Relationship Fundraiser will cultivate and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as individual donors, to ensure a positive experience for all supporters of North Yorkshire Hospice Care. Each day in this role will be unique, involving activities such as planning upcoming appeals, meeting with recently bereaved families, or promoting the importance of legacy gifts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and has a keen eye for detail.
We are looking for individuals who are personable, have a positive attitude, and can empathise with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include –
- Supporting in-memorium donors through their giving journey
- Help the creation of regular giving appeals
- Grow income and support donor stewardship from general donations received
- Be an ambassador for legacy giving, growing awareness internally and building number of legacy pledgers
- Build and maintain strong, personal relationships with stakeholders to ensure life-time giving
- Work with the team across the other fundraising specialisms to contribute to a cohesive approach to fundraising

Job Description
Relationship Fundraiser
1.0 Job Purpose
The Relationship Fundraiser plays a crucial role in supporting the Relationship Manager in advancing North Yorkshire Hospice Care’s mission by assisting in the enhancement and management of relationships with individual donors.
The Relationship Fundraiser will assist in identifying potential donors, understanding their motivations, and contributing to tailored engagement strategies. Through these efforts, the fundraiser will help to ensure donors feel valued and connected to the charity's cause.
This role will primarily focus on growing and maintaining various fundraising avenues, including in memory, regular giving, facilitating legacy gifts or bequests in wills, and singular donations. The role aims to maximise opportunities for donor engagement and individual giving.
2.0 Key Tasks
- In-Memorium Fundraising Support: Assist in implementing sensitive and impactful strategies to encourage donations in memory of loved ones, ensuring memories are honoured and families and friends are supported throughout their giving journey.
- Regular Giving Support: Aid in driving the regular giving program to secure a sustainable income stream. This will involve supporting in creating tailored appeals, managing communications, and contributing to enhancing donor satisfaction and retention through regular updates and engagements.
- General Donations Assistance: Provide support in overseeing the process for general donations, maximising the ease and effectiveness of one-time and ongoing contributions. This may include assisting in campaign management, donor acknowledgment, and contributing to leveraging special events and anniversaries to inspire giving.
- Donor Relationship Support: Help build and maintain strong, personal relationships with donors through consistent, thoughtful communication and recognition strategies. Utilise CRM to track donor interactions, preferences, and history to tailor approaches and increase donor engagement.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with the Relationship Manager and other teams within the charity, such as marketing, events, and volunteer management, to contribute to a cohesive and comprehensive fundraising approach.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Assist in evaluating and refining fundraising strategies and processes to optimize donor engagement, retention, and revenue generation.
- Legacy Giving Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for legacy giving both internally and externally. Work with the Relationship Manager on creating internal awareness materials and promoting legacy giving initiatives to external stakeholders.
- Case Study Recruitment: Collaborate with the marketing team on the recruitment of case studies suitable for various areas of work, showcasing the impact of donations and legacy gifts.
- Personalized Stewardship: Maintain strong relationships with supporters through personalised stewardship, adhering to relevant supporter journeys to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
- Reporting: Regularly report against agreed objectives and key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Legacy Product Promotion: Continuously identify opportunities to promote legacy products across multiple channels to encourage legacy giving.
- Communication with Legators: Communicate with legators and families regarding potential pledges and provide aftercare once a gift in the will has been donated to North Yorkshire Hospice Care.

KR 1: Strengthening Relationships and Collaborations for Effective Fundraising Materials
SM 1:Successfully coordinate with the Relationship Manager and Marketing team to launch a legacy campaign which aligns with Hospice UK’s national campaign, maximising visibility and impact.
SM 2: Execute general donation and regular giving campaigns as outlined in the work plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and achieving the financial year’s budget targets. Collaborate closely with the Relationship Manager and Marketing team to develop compelling messaging and materials for these campaigns.
KR 2: Enhancing In-Memorium (IMO) Fundraising through Community Engagement
SM 1: Strengthen existing relationships and establish new partnerships with funeral directors across the community. Collaborate with them to promote IMO fundraising initiatives and ensure families receive appropriate support and guidance in honouring their loved ones through donations.
SM 2: Foster strong relationships with internal staff members, empowering them to become advocates for IMO and legacy fundraising efforts. Provide training and resources to ensure staff are knowledgeable and confident in promoting these initiatives to donors and supporters, maximising engagement, and support.
KR 3: Ensure all donors are supported and have a positive experience when supporting North Yorkshire Hospice Care
SM 1: Follow procedures and systems to cater to donors’ needs effectively, from initial engagement through ongoing stewardships.
SM 2: Prioritise personalised communication and timely acknowledgement of donations, ensuring doors feel valued and appreciated for their generosity.
SM 3: Solicit feedback from donors to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to enrich their experience further.
SM 4: Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and unified approach to donor support across all interactions.
SM 4: Provide resources and guidance to frontline staff and volunteers to equip them with the tools and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional donor experiences.
