Hospitals need to free up beds by discharging patients who do not need to remain in hospital. Despite the pressures we want discharges to be safe, successful and as painless as possible for patients. We also want to ensure a patient is not readmitted into hospital. 

The Hospital Discharge Community Support Coordinator will match Age UK Lambeth (AUKL) volunteers and partner organisation volunteers to support a patient's discharge. Volunteers could provide support with transport, practical support such as food shopping or completing home safety checks. Upon discharge volunteers may continue supporting patients for up to 4 weeks, providing support in person (at the individual's home or in the community) and over the phone, linking them into support services and helping them access the community to prevent hospital readmission.

What you’ll be doing?

1. Oversee the development of a new, inclusive volunteer programme that offers a range of diverse and challenging volunteer roles to support patients leaving hospital and once settled home. 

2. Work in partnership with the VCS to create 100 volunteering opportunities to support hospital discharge.

3. Using the volunteer platform, Care for Me, track allocated tasks to ensure they’re completed. Monitor volunteer reports to review the support and work delivered under the project.

4. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital to ensure appropriate referrals are made into the service.

About the role

Music Services is the delivery arm of Nordoff Robbins and encompasses the provision of music therapy and related activities including education, training and research. The Music Services Administrator will work  closely with the Regional Manager and alongside other Music Services Administrators to ensure that the reception and admin function is well run, organised, efficient and effective, and that clients, visitors and callers have a positive experience when they spend time with us. Many of our clients lead challenging lives and include vulnerable children and adults. This role is therefore subject to a basic DBS check.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As our Individual Giving Manager you will organise and oversee all our individual giving activities. You will develop income and engagement from individuals working across a range of income streams including but not limited to Regular Giving, Philanthropy, Legacy, Appeals and Lottery.

You will also oversee strategy with a view to gaining ongoing growth, through developing engaging fundraising campaigns and delivering high quality, timely and personalised stewardship to recruit new and retain existing supporters.

You’ll be an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of using a variety of direct marketing techniques to grow Individual Giving. You will work closely with our MarComms team to create content across various channels ensuring relevant and engaging communications are sent to supporters across email, BHWT newsletters, social media, BHWT magazine and video.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• To develop and deliver strategy across Individual Giving in an effort to maximise income.
• To steward and recruit donors whilst developing and retaining regular and cash givers.
• To manage a calendar of compelling fundraising projects and campaigns including direct marketing appeals across electronic, postal and social media channels.
• To utilise insight and data to set, monitor and evaluate campaigns and revenue performance.
• Management of our BHWT lottery.
• To build and nurture effective relationships with a number of segments including major donors, regular givers and pledged legators, increasing value and loyalty from new and existing donors.
• To examine supporter data to identify patterns and trends, helping to build and develop insights into BHWT supporters.
• To segment various data audiences for postal appeals using Salesforce.
• To explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and retention.
• To analyse and report on fundraising activities to maximise return on investment and feed key findings to the CEO.
• Collaborate closely with MarComms to build understanding and support across the organisation whilst delivering rewarding, interconnected projects and appeals.
• To create and update donor records ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times.
• To provide support to other areas of fundraising where appropriate.
• To undertake ad hoc tasks from time to time as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A strong empathy for animal welfare and the work of the BHWT
• Demonstrable successes in growing income across multiple IG revenues with a wide range of activities, campaigns, and appeals
• Proven experience of researching, evaluating, testing and implementing successful fundraising products or activities
• Experience of utilising performance metrics and KPIs for donor acquisition, cost-benefit, and return-on-investment analyses
• Proven experience of campaign management and delivery
• Track record of developing and optimising supporter-focused content and products that increase reach and engagement across a wide range of channels
• Experience of using a fundraising database and segmenting relevant fundraising data

Southmead Hospital Charity is looking for an experienced Individual Giving and Corporate Partnerships Manager to build on already successful programmes, with enough scope and flexibility to take them to the next level. 

This is an exciting time to work for an official NHS charity. Back Up’s mentoring service is there to help. We know that peer support can have a life changing impact and our Mentoring Team are the ones who can facilitate this through matching them with a suitable mentor who will be able to support them over a series of phone calls to reach their goals. The Mentoring Team Leader leads the team through providing excellent line management and driving the delivery of the team’s business plans to empower the team to ultimately support more people affected by spinal cord injury

In addition to leading the team, a Mentoring Team Lead will assist in creating mentoring relationships and support mentors and mentees as appropriate, assess mentee suitability and provide support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new mentors.

A Mentoring Team Lead will be motivated to achieve the aims, targets and milestones that have been set in terms of making quality matches and will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.

Demand for our specialist tutoring programmes for Children Looked After, those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) continues to increase and we are seeking an excellent addition to our team to support the increased demand for our provision and to support the continued scaling of our organisation.

Equal Education is a social enterprise working to improve outcomes and narrow the attainment gap for disadvantaged and vulnerable learners, including Children Looked After, those with SEND, and unaccompanied asylum seeking children. We have 12 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually. 

As a member of the Fair Education Alliance, we believe in providing meaningful educational provision to students whose needs may not be best met within a traditional classroom environment, those who aren’t currently accessing education, or who benefit from additional 1:1 support. We work with over 200 qualified teachers to provide academic, subject specialised and individual tutoring and mentoring for children of all ages. Tutors provide pastoral care and work with pupils to increase engagement and attainment. Our programmes will help the students to overcome barriers to learning, help them build trusted relationships, increase their aspirations, and fulfil their potential. What is the Role?

The Partnerships Account Manager will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. With a focus on building and sustaining long-term school and local council relationships, the Partnerships Account Manager will work closely with clients to understand their needs, expand our service offerings, and ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. 

The post holder will manage two administrators who will provide essential bid-writing and administrative support to facilitate efficient and effective client management.

The post holder would benefit from experience or an understanding of working in a small, high-growth organisation. 

The role will be suited to those who have held the title: SENCO, Head of Department, Advisory Teacher, Inclusion Coordinator or Designated Teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

   • Proactively seek new business opportunities within assigned regions to grow the client base.

   • Lead regular client review meetings to discuss progress, gather feedback, and identify additional service opportunities.

   • Manage internal relationships to ensure what matters to clients is communicated internally using the proper channels, to allow for effective delivery by our Operations teams. 

   • Maintain good internal stakeholder relationships with our Operations teams to ensure high client demands are balanced with our processes and team capacity. 

2. Strategic Planning and Development

   • Collaborate with Senior Leaders to develop strategies for client retention and growth.

   • Work closely with the wider partnerships team to align on strategic objectives and ensure seamless service delivery across functions.

   • Participate in client and industry events to represent the organisation, expand networks, and identify new business opportunities.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

   • Monitor client engagement, satisfaction levels, and service outcomes; produce regular progress reports for management.

   • Oversee tracking and analysis of client-related statistics to ensure targets are met and clients receive impactful, value-driven service.

   • Manage and track client data and prospect pipelines using CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

   • Report to SLT on accounts, Tenders, Bids, client meetings on a regular basis

   • Be curious to explore our Salesforce system data, understanding and interpreting delivery and impact data 

4. Team Management and Support Coordination

   • Lead, mentor, and manage two administrators focused on bid-writing, tender management, and client-related administration.

   • Support administrators in producing and reviewing high-quality bid documents and responses that align with client requirements and enhance our partnership outcomes.

   • Provide oversight to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently, supporting smooth client interactions and consistent follow-through.

   • Work with other leads like allocations and recruitment to ensure we can fulfil referrals

   • Foster a strong working relationship between bid writers and recruitment to ensure we can find tutors and go for the right bids. 

5. Bid Management and Process Improvement

   • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and bids, working closely with administrators to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.

   • Continuously review and improve internal processes to optimise bid management, client onboarding, and service delivery.

   • Report on bid submission performance, review client feedback to continuously improve. 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of the UK Education Sector.

• Proven track record in client relationship management, with experience in sales or partnership development roles.

• Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face and telephone interactions, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-lasting relationships.

• Experience managing a small team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-performance standards.

• High level of empathy and commitment to supporting vulnerable and underserved communities.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet both short- and long-term deadlines effectively.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking client data, leads, and progress.

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to address issues independently and provide client-focused solutions.

• Able to work in a high pressure environment, whilst taking initiative, we would want the postholder to ask for support when needed.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working in the education sector or with local authorities, particularly in roles involving SEND or children’s services.

• Knowledge of safeguarding requirements and best practices for handling sensitive information.

• Experience in bid-writing, tender management, or grant applications.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking somebody who is a confident communicator, with strong analytical, IT and critical thinking skills, able to build and maintain relationships internally and externally, write accurate and concise reports and with excellent interpersonal and financial management skills. You will provide the 'link' between the paid staff and volunteers, and the Board of Trustees, and be comfortable as the public face of the charity when needed. Yes, we asking for a lot but in return we are offering a competitive salary, plus 3% pension contribution and the chance for you to join a friendly, supportive charity at a pivotal point in our development where your input can help shape our future direction. 

This is a remote working position but will involve regular travel to meetings and locations where our user activities are held.

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Bedford Mental Health Prevention service for adults which aims to improve people’s mental wellbeing, raise aspirations and enhance confidence.

As Service Coordinator you will be responsible for implementing working recovery models and coordinating the operational plans for the service to ensure that people are able to manage their mental health, move through their recovery journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

Along with coordinating service delivery to meet its aims, objectives and Key Performance Indicators, you will also line manage the service Recovery Workers and lead on recruitment, onboarding and management of volunteers in the service.

Additionally you will conduct assessments of individual’s suitability for the service, leading on more complex cases and guiding people through the range of available interventions that can support them to achieve the outcomes that matter to them.

In addition to managing the day-to-day delivery of the service you will also contribute to the direct provision of the service by leading and facilitating group sessions where needed and by offering informal 1-2-1 mental health and wellbeing support that reduces the chance that people will fall through gaps, be isolated and ensuring the right support and the right time that manages a range of needs.

You will lead opportunities to support events in the community to raise awareness of our services and to build links with local organisations and agencies.

You will need to be empathetic and deliver a person-centred approach in a non-judgemental way, collaborating with people to empower and engage them. SUN facilitators will have regular supervision and support in this role along with appropriate training.

This Grants and Services Officer post will be key to supporting the charity to achieve those ambitions. You will work directly with our beneficiaries to deliver support, including grantmaking and developing support networks for individuals through signposting and cross-agency working. Alongside this, you will lead on the development of digital tools and resources for our community, contribute to research and evaluation projects to inform that development, and develop referral routes and relationships with other organisations.

We are looking for someone with experience of grantmaking, knowledge of the state benefits system and able to develop support packages for clients which are responsive to individual needs. Activities also include service design, development and project management. Working as part of a small, friendly team you will need to be able to take an adaptable approach to manage competing priorities. The post holder will be an exceptionally well-organized individual who will take responsibility for key parts of the team’s remit.
