These are newly created administrative roles to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in nearly 1,100 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. The organisation has an important role to value, care for and protect general practice.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Primary Care team which supports committee effectiveness and ensures representation within Local Medical Committees within London. You will report to the Director of Primary Care, working across local committees within the Primary Care team.
The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to Local Medical Committees, enabling the smooth running of Committee meetings. It would be helpful if candidates have a contextual understanding of the health environment or other public-sector environments that we work in, along with excellent administration and note-taking skills. We would like to hear from candidates who have experience of:
- Owning the administrative tasks required to ensure Committee meetings have professional and timely agendas, papers and minutes/action records.
- Attending Committee meetings to support the facilitation of the meetings and ensuring accurate record keeping of meeting content.
- Working flexibly to provide cover across teams and for other Committee Administrators across Londonwide as required.
The salary for the role will be £30,000 pa plus membership of the group personal pension scheme with a 16% employer pension contribution (£4,800, making total remuneration £34,800). About the role
This role drives significant growth in awareness and engagement on our digital platforms through storytelling and campaign management.

This is a wide-ranging community fundraising role. Activities include supporting family

The Brighton Marathon. You will be required to forge, develop and grow new and existing

Key to this, is the provision of a sensitive and effective supporter journey for new and
existing supporters.
Also, you will work collaboratively with the fundraising department and the
communications and marketing team to ensure effective integration of campaigns and

participate in a range of third-party events and support the organisation.
You will lead on Supermarket charitable schemes, including research, support with copy
and applications to reach targets set for this area of income.
About you
Ideally you have successful community fundraising experience including provision of a good
supporter journey.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will equally be as
comfortable supporting families who stay with us who want to fundraise, as you are
presenting to a room full of students, or potential volunteers.
You have good organisational skills and are comfortable working to objectives and targets.
You are able to work with a level of autonomy and innovation to develop your fundraising
portfolio and to increase our profile particularly in the areas close to our houses.

Finance duties
- Work with the CEO to ensure good financial practices in place and bring to the immediate attention of the CEO, SLT, the Finance & HR Committee (FHRC) and Trustees, as appropriate, any and all areas of financial and risk control.
- Manage the overall financial strategy, preparing 3-year plans, budgets, forecasts & monthly management accounts which are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner.

The Role
What will I be doing?
- Provide key support to the Governance, Audit & Risk Manager on the IOP’s governance programme, including the organisation of Council Meetings and Core Governance Committee meetings, and the distribution of agendas and papers on the IOP’s Board Portal
- Be a key point of contact for the IOP’s Trustees and Committee Members, providing support and maintaining trustee information
- Support with the IOP’s annual Council Elections and AGM
- Support with the smooth running of the Group Internal Audit Programme

Projects you work on may include:

This flexible role can be shaped in conversation with the successful candidate but must include holding a regular fortnightly curriculum working group at an agreed regular time. Tuesdays and Thursdays are preferred.
Initially, a fixed-term, 6-month contract working 2-3 days a week, with progression opportunities, including the opportunity for permanent roles within the organisation.
Working Pattern
To fulfil the requirements of this role, there may be occasional in-person touchpoints with the team in our London office or partner schools; the ability and desire to travel to these is paramount.
There may also be occasional travel outside of London, for which reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed.

Job purpose
To deliver timely and efficient fundraising and administrative support, as we work to ensure that no dementia carer ever feels isolated, invisible or alone.
Key responsibilities
• Be the first point of contact for supporters, campaigners and others, managing enquiries via post, online and over the phone to ensure everyone has a quality experience.
• Manage processes for fundraising donations.
• Work with teams across the organisation and with carers to produce creative and engaging thank you and stewardship materials.
• Support the fundraising team with prospect research to help identify potential new supporters.
• Draft funder reports, small trust funding applications and fundraising communications.
• Support the administration and delivery of fundraising activities and initiatives.
• Keep up to date with sector developments and best practice in fundraising.
• Support the marketing & communications manager to deliver effective internal communications.
• Support the services team to deal with carer enquiries and casework, administer online groups, and produce reports.
• Support the organisation with general administrative duties as required.

- Collaborate with our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Inclusive Growth teams to share best practices across the Scouts and drive lasting change.
- Support the integration of inclusive practices throughout the entire organisation.
