We are looking for an empathetic, organised and proactive Services Manager to join our team. This role will oversee the day-to-day delivery of Sebby’s Corner’s core support services, including Essentials Support Collections, our New Parent Baby Essentials Experience, and seasonal programmes like School Uniform Support and Christmas Support.
You will work closely with referral partners, families and our internal team to ensure that every interaction is positive, dignified, and effective. You’ll also take the lead on safeguarding and be responsible for signposting families to external support where appropriate.
About Sebby’s Corner
Sebby's Corner is based in Barnet, EN5 and our aim is to ensure that no child goes without the basic essentials they need to thrive. We supply items such as clothing, nappies, formula and baby equipment to local families living in poverty. Families in need get referred to us by social workers, health visitors, family support workers, midwives and other professionals from our 800-strong referral partner network.
We also offer school uniform support in the summer and a Birthday Club that ensures children have the chance to celebrate with gifts, balloons and a cake. At Christmas, we host a festive shop where families can choose presents for their children, giving children the chance to have a Christmas just like their peers.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities
Service Delivery
- Guiding families during their New Parent Baby Essentials Experience appointment, helping them choose the items they need for their baby. Ensure clients feel supported and empowered when choosing items.
- Coordinate logistics, appointments, stock, and setup for our two seasonal services within a set timeline and budget - Christmas Support and School Uniform Support.
- Manage booking system across our services
- Ensure families and referral partners have a welcoming and respectful experience at the hub.
- Support complex referrals and work alongside the Referrals Coordinator to meet urgent or sensitive needs.
- Supporting our Referrals Co-ordinator with the Essentials Support service during busy periods to ensure families and referral partners who are collecting receive a positive and dignified experience and receive the items they requested.
Impact & Evaluation
- Gather and respond to feedback from families and volunteers to improve future service delivery.
- Provide reporting and statistics for impact reporting.
Referral Partner Engagement
- Act as a main point of contact for referral partners and schools.
- Onboarding new referral partners by providing clear information about service criteria, availability, and referral processes.
- Deliver briefings, training sessions, and guidance materials to improve referral quality and understanding.
Signposting & Partnerships
- Help families access additional support by providing signposting to trusted local services.
- Maintain a regularly updated resource list on the website and collaborate with partners to expand support options.
- Promote and lead on our Service Delivery partnerships such as educational workshops with Parent Learning Platform and antenatal classes with All About Babies and encourage family engagement.
Safeguarding
- Serve as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns. Make onward safeguarding referrals via MASH where necessary.
- Ensure all staff and volunteers receive appropriate safeguarding training.
- Create a culture of safety and openness, where concerns are raised and addressed appropriately.

What we can offer
Salary and pension
The salary range for this role is £30,000 - £34,000 FTE per annum (gross), dependent on experience and pro-rated if you work part-time. If eligible to join the pension scheme, we will match your contributions by 5%.
Annual leave
You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time roles). We usually close between Christmas and New Year without this time coming off your annual leave allowance.

How we work with Employers and Higher Education Institutions
At Unifrog, we partner with universities and employers to help them connect with our global network of highly engaged students, teachers and careers leaders.
Our partnerships allow universities and employers to co-create content which can be accessed on the Unifrog platform (including online subject taster courses and day-in-the-life videos), share upcoming events and opportunities with relevant Unifrog students and teachers, and take part in a series of events throughout the year aimed at providing students at Unifrog schools with all the information they need to make the best decisions for their futures, and create the strongest applications.

The role and responsibilities
As New Business Lead for Employer and HE Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving Unifrog’s growth in our employer and higher education markets. You’ll need to be target driven to help create a wider network of universities and employers to support Unifrog students from around the world to find their best next step.
You will be given support by both the HE and Employer teams but will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects.

Your key responsibilities:

Design tailored campaigns involving emails, phone calls, webinars and social media, to target employers and higher education institutions in a smart and engaging way.

Working together
You’ll be working with the HE and Employer teams, alongside the Partnerships Director for International Schools and HE (who will be your line manager), the Partnerships Director for UK Schools and Employers, the Head of Employer Partnerships, and the Head of HE Partnerships. Your projects will also see you collaborating closely with the Marketing team.

Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT) is a marine conservation charity based on the Isle of Mull. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of HWDT’s new education project, Hebridean Marine Explorers - Connecting Scotland’s seas and communities.
The Education Officer will develop and deliver:

Educating young people on land and at sea is key to the role so we are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, organised self-motivator, familiar working with schools and young people, with outstanding communication skills. Experience of marine mammal surveys and the ability to identify cetacean species in the Scottish waters is also essential to the role.
We are looking for somebody experienced in teaching and delivering environmental education activities and training for young people, ideally with knowledge of co-design project delivery and its implementation within a primary school environment.
Our ideal candidate will have experience coordinating a funded project and the skills to provide effective communication, evaluation, and reporting against project targets.
The ability to work with external partners, the wider team of HWDT staff and boat crew to deliver project outcomes and a genuine interest in cetaceans and marine conservation is essential. An understanding of the workings of a charity/NGO would be an advantage.
A valid medical fitness certificate (i.e. ML5 or ENG1) and PVG check is required for the role.

About the project
The proposed service Kineara aims to provide is a Community-Based Housing Advice and Support Service for lone parents living in TA (Temporary Accommodation) and to provide a prevented service that advice and support lone parents living in PRS and social rented accommodation, where their tenancies is insecure.
This service will address urgent housing concerns, provide essential advice, and offer tailored, intensive support for those with complex needs. The project will focus on delivering maximum reach through our outreach while maintaining smaller 1:1 caseload for high-needs cases.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate community -based housing advice and support worker. This role involves conducting community drop- in surgeries which will be delivered across Lambeth Schools, Children’s Centres, Community Groups, GP practices and
Housing Advice Surgeries offering face-to-face housing advice, legal support (where necessary), and signposting to additional service.
You will have experience of working with families and individuals with complex needs. You will be an enthusiastic person who has empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to working with clients and who thrives when working independently with a passion to support change. Job Profile
CAFOD’s work in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and resource Catholics to participate in the Church’s mission to overcome poverty and injustice in partnership with CAFOD.
The main purpose of this role is to inspire and increase the participation in CAFOD’s work of Catholic parishes, schools and the broader Catholic community within the Nottingham Diocese. This will be accomplished partly by the recruitment and support of a team of committed, inspired and well-resourced volunteers working in parish and school communities to enable and equip Catholics to give, act and pray. The work will also involve meeting gatekeepers, networks and other stakeholders within the diocese to build fruitful and positive relationships.
The Community Participation Co-ordinator (CPC) is part of a regional team working across a group of dioceses and whilst having a primary focus on one diocese, is responsible for the results of the regional team plans in relation to volunteer recruitment and retention and parishion and school participation.
The role will be hybrid (40-60% of time at home and 40-60% based from the volunteer centre) or fully based from CAFOD’s Nottingham Diocese volunteer centre currently in Nottingham city centre, although it is expected that the post holder will be mobile and flexible to meet volunteers, clergy and other stakeholders as required. The post holder will also be meeting with other regional team members as required both virtually and face to face. At times it will be necessary to transport some equipment and resources and to be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
The role requires a willingness to be adaptable to support the work of the regional team, deploying skills, knowledge and at times activity in other parts of the regional team area. This is likely to require some additional travel (which would be reimbursed by CAFOD). The post also requires weekend and evening work for while time off in lieu (toil) can be claimed.
CPCs are accountable for delivering CAFOD’s annual participation plans locally across England and Wales. As well as growing the number of parishes participating, the plan is also focused on enabling parish communities to expand the breadth of their participation. Through greater numbers and activity of schools volunteers and volunteer co-ordinators, more schools will be visited by a CAFOD volunteer. It is not expected that the post-holder will routinely visit schools but that the vast majority of visits be completed by volunteers.

Delivering participation plans
- Share accountability for delivery of annual participation plans for the region (a group of dioceses) with a primary focus on one diocese, and for fundraising, education, campaigns, and other targets, as delineated by the participation plan for the region. Salary: £51,429 - £58,140 per annum (£48,857 – £55,233 actual/pro-rata)

The Role
The Primary Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting children affected by the Grenfell tragedy. Working closely with families and primary schools, you will help identify individual needs, develop tailored solutions, and advocate for children’s education and wellbeing.
You will:
- Conduct baseline assessments to understand children's specific needs.
- Provide advice and guidance to parents on school applications, transitions, and educational rights.
- Liaise between families and schools, ensuring teachers are informed about children's needs and support.
- Connect families with relevant external support services and refer to health organisations such as the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service.
- Deliver trauma-informed guidance on the impact of trauma on learning and behaviour, offering strategies for emotional regulation and academic success.
- Develop and run workshops on family relationships, communication, and restorative practices.
- Facilitate open dialogue sessions where involved parties can express their feelings and work towards mutual understanding.
- Plan and deliver small group after-school teaching sessions (both online and in-person) to supplement the school curriculum in English and Maths.
About You

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
- Experience working with children across different key stages.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, including the ability to respond to concerns.
- An understanding of trauma informed and restorative practice alongside a willingness to learn more.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with families and understanding diverse cultural contexts.
- Familiarity with relevant education legislation and policies, including the Education Act 2002, Children and Families Act 2014, Equality Act 2010, and Keeping Children Safe in Education (2023).
- Ability to track pupil progress and implement data-driven interventions.
- Commitment to professional development and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.

About the Organisation
The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children, young people, their families, and local schools.
Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools.
The hub’s objectives are to:
- Provide high-quality educational support to as many children and young people as possible.
- Build the skills and confidence of children, families, and education staff in local schools.
- Develop strong relationships with those most affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
- Accurately assess its impact.
