KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to generate relevant, compelling content to share with our digital key stakeholders.
• Develop communications to support the advocacy activities of the organisation to engage existing and new supporters.
• Work with our Programme Teams in the UK, India and Tanzania to anticipate, research, develop, and write stories, adapting them to excite diverse audiences across a wide variety of media as we campaign for the rights of street connected children.

• Create inspiring multi-channel content and messaging, directly linked to achieving our strategic aims and to showcase the impact of Railway Children’s work and influence key eternal stakeholders.
• Generate inspiring content that will attract a new, broader pool of supporters who are invested in making Railway Children’s vision and mission a reality.
• Use the latest available technologies and techniques on social media to amplify our voice by attracting and recruiting new supporters who share our values, beliefs and mission.
• Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Strategic Content Manager to ensure that all of our content and messaging is optimised for search engine ranking and keyword activity.
• Develop relationships with relevant media in the rail / transport sector to share our communications.

The Fundraising and Development Manager will be a member of the leadership team, implementing the fundraising strategy by working closely with the Executive Director, alongside colleagues across the organisation and external consultants.
You’ll bring a passion for what we do, and the importance of independent journalism – and the contribution it makes to protecting everyone’s human rights.
We are looking for someone with experience in leading donor relations, with confidence and a strategic approach to high-value fundraising. This role will deepen RPT’s understanding of our supporter base, build on existing and new donor networks and produce impactful reports to donors including foundations and trusts, so they understand RPT’s impact and commit their support over the longer term.
You will work closely with other roles in the organisation, rolling out funding campaigns to attract new donors, whilst providing high-quality stewardship to existing ones. You will bring excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Gift Aid, Compliance and Fulfilment Manager to join our busy team on a fixed term contract. With your focus on the day-to-day management of our key supplier relationships, you’ll oversee multiple work streams and competing priorities across complex operations.

We are looking for someone with a strong news sense and a demonstrable background of proactively getting organisations involved in the conversations that matter – while reflecting the confidential nature and sensitivities around domestic abuse and mental health. The role will be responsible for proactive and reactive media relations; effective engagement on social media; developing engaging content for our website; supporting on Calls for Evidence and drafting copy for marketing materials, including our e-newsletter. A highly autonomous role, you will work closely with our fundraising, counselling, and research teams.
Our ideal candidate would also have experience of working on fundraising and awareness campaigns; and the ability to create content on social media in line with branding guidelines. Experience in developing communications strategies and reporting on Key Performance Indicators are essential.

Role purpose:

Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Interim Database Manager, to join our team in High Wycombe. You will join us on a full time, fixed-term contract for three months. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £44,000 - £50,000 per annum pro-rated depending on experience.
Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet. We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.
The Interim Database Manager role:
As our Interim Database Manager, you will be responsible for the management and ongoing development of our CRM system and all associated data. As a member charity having been established almost 60 years ago and with over 63,000 active members, we have significant volumes of valuable data. We are looking for an interim Database Manager to deliver existing projects and progress future development plans.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in database and data management, a natural interest in data analysis and ideally be an expert in WorkBooks. The role is a central one, working with all Directorates across the charity, so strong communication skills and teamwork is also a pre-requisite.
Key responsibilities of the Interim Database Manager:
- To manage and maintain the master data for all the charity’s areas of work
- To be the lead on specific projects to develop our data resources including working with external consultants to build APIs
- To work with external consultants and suppliers to ensure that all database developments, improvements and modifications are within the agreed specification, of high quality, fully documented and within budget
- To manage the time, activities and tasks of the Database Officer to support the needs of the charity.
- To create management reports, document data and workflow processes and inform colleagues on issues and best practices
- In conjunction with external suppliers, ensure that the database and related systems are suitably configured, maintained, updated and reliable and that all new data and software updates are fully tested prior to implementation

This role is to effectively engage with a diverse range of VCSE organisations and stakeholders in Cornwall through meetings, workshops, consultations, surveys, events, conferences etc. To strengthen our alliance-based model of engagement by expanding existing alliances and creating new ones. To bring the voice of the sector into the new integrated care area forums and community area partnerships. To bring together the VCSE sector around pertinent issues, so they can meet the needs of their beneficiaries and achieve their organisational outcomes.
Key Duties
- Manage and develop a range of thematic and place-based alliances, bringing together VCSE organisations to collaborate on shared community themes and challenges.
- Actively engage with integrated care areas, community area partnerships, and other strategic forums to amplify the voice of the VCSE sector.
