We are delighted to be working with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity who are seeking an experienced and effective Executive Assistant to provide high-level, comprehensive administrative support to the charity’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
In this newly created role, you will be a highly efficient, articulate and astute Executive Assistant with experience of supporting senior leaders in a vibrant environment. You will be responsible for diary co-ordination and meeting support, including agendas and minutes - liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders, using due diligence, good judgement and discretion.
This is an extremely busy and varied role and an exciting opportunity at a time of significant growth and development within the air ambulance charity, so you will need to be highly organised with excellent time management skills, able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
You will have:
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role, including working with senior management and establishing good working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prepare papers, reports and presentations, with effective minute-taking skills.
- Experience of managing administrative systems to improve efficiencies. Working closely with SLT and colleagues to ensure that departmental administrative support needs are being met.
- Experience of conducting research and gathering relevant information to aid senior decision-making, working on special projects and initiatives.
- Experience of handling sensitive organisational matters with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
- Knowledge with working within a health or clinical environment and / or charity would be beneficial, a good knowledge and understanding of charity governance and compliance is desirable.
With a proactive approach, you will be able to work with minimal supervision under your own initiative. Able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, you will be able to communicate confidently, credibly and professionally at all levels, drafting well-written and structured communications and documents. An excellent standard of English and maths is essential.

- Managing individual giving activity – including activities such asregular giving, one-off donations and appeals, digital fundraising and payroll giving
- Developing and implementing a supporter engagement programme – create a multi-channel communication programme to optimise supporter retention and deepen engagement
- Leading on supporter appeals - working with other function leads to ensure activity is integrated and optimised
- Managing challenge event activity - including promoting and allocating National Eczema Society Gold Bond places in key events
- General management activities – such as budgeting, planning, strategy development

What you’ll be doing

Where you’ll be based

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will deliver effective strategies for regular giving through developing the Art Partners programme – leading all aspects including recruitment, stewardship and strategy for growth, and fundraising appeals and campaigns. You will working closely with the Head of Individual Giving to cultivate individual donors to secure gifts towards Art Fund’s charitable programme.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Implementing and contributing to a robust recruitment strategy to increase the numbers of members and to build philanthropic engagement through refining the fundraising pitch and proposal through to making direct asks
- Developing compelling communications which raise awareness of charitable objectives and identify activity which will have wide appeal among individual donors as one-off asks or long-term fundraising initiatives.
- Working with the Prospect Development Manager to identify and manage prospective individual donors for membership, appeals and individual gifts, then lead approaches to individuals appropriate to their interests and level of giving

WWT’s Martin Mere Wetland Centre is a world-famous nature reserve and wetland animal collection, which attracts over 200,000 visits every year.
We are currently looking for a proactive and innovative individual, with experience of buildings and grounds maintenance, to become our Facilities Assistant. You will work in a customer focused environment in a small team led by the Facilities Manager, which is responsible for the maintenance and strategic development of our visitor centre and all other buildings and infrastructure.
You will be key in providing an excellent visitor experience by ensuring the grounds are kept in a clean and tidy manner and ensure that the visitor’s facilities are clean, well-stocked and maintained. You will also assist the Facilities team with maintenance tasks, routing checks of systems and working on any projects to improve the site.

The Associate Director of Local Fundraising is a senior role within the Income, Innovation and Engagement directorate; a highly ambitious and professional team which is working to grow income and strengthen the organisation’s voice across the UK as the leading end of life care charity in the UK. The Job
We are a charity that punches above its weight. We receive no statutory funding and rely on the generosity of our many volunteers and supporters who raise awareness of our work and much needed funds. The main purpose of this role will be to support the Community and Events Manager to develop local volunteer groups with the aim of increasing both awareness of the charity’s life-saving work and local fundraising. Other activities and administrative tasks across our key fundraising areas will also form part of the role.

Reports to: Community and Events Fundraising Manager
Responsibilities
- Support the Community & Events Fundraising Manager with the delivery of events
- Support the Region 5 volunteers in conjunction with the Community Fundraising Team
- Represent and promote the charity at external events within the Region 5 geography including some evenings and weekends.
- Assist the Individual Giving Manager with the fulfilment of supporter communications including thank you letters and fulfillment of the Sponsor A Puppy Programme.
- Co-ordinate general fundraising enquiries and action accordingly offering exceptional customer service
- Ensure all correspondence is recorded on the Harlequin CRM database and adhere to data regulations.
