As Head of Evaluation and Impact you’ll lead a small team to support us in understanding and improving the impact of our activity. You’ll develop and embed our approach to impact evaluation, enabling us to measure progress against our organisational mission, measure and evaluate the impact of our school engagement activities and share learnings with the wider community to help improve collective impact. You will bring experience of evaluation theory and methods; you will have developed theories of change and impact frameworks; and you will have led programme evaluations. You’ll be driven by a curiosity to understand more about how we can improve our activities in ways that achieve the change we’re looking for.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of EngineeringUK’s work to understand the impact of our activity at a programme and organisational level. You will have responsibility for developing and embedding our approach to impact evaluation that enables us to measure progress against our organisational mission, measure and evaluate the impact of our activities and support the wider community in improving approaches to monitoring and evaluation. You will manage a small team and work in close partnership with the Head of Research with whom you may be responsible for joint objectives and deliverables. You will also work closely with the Policy & Public Affairs and Communications teams.
A key part of this role will involve leading and quality assuring evaluation plans and delivery, as well as distilling and reporting findings in a meaningful way to shape and evidence the direction of EngineeringUK’s work. A strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods, data analysis and experience communicating complex information to a range of audiences is therefore required
The role is London based at our office at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and may involve some travel in the UK. We believe that hybrid working has many benefits and are pleased to offer flexible working with a minimum of 2 days (or 40%) a week in the office and the option for a flexible start and end to the working day in our vibrant central London office overlooking the Thames. About Fundraising at CARAS
CARAS offers holistic early-action support to refugees and people seeking asylum, ensuring individuals have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive in the UK. Founded in 2008, we have co-created our thriving adult and youth services in partnership with CARAS community members over the last 16 years and now run a thriving weekly provision of social and educational programming delivered alongside wrap-around casework support.
The growth in our service has been underpinned by great success in fundraising which has allowed us to consistently grow year on year, with our current annual budget now standing at approximately £750,000. Fundraising is led by the Head of Development and Impact. The creation of the Fundraising Officer role is an exciting new step for CARAS, providing us with the opportunity to get to understand our supporters more deeply, and build meaningful new partnerships with businesses and investors across many sectors to improve the outcomes for individuals with a refugee background across south London. About the role
This role focuses on scaling CARAS’s unrestricted income portfolio, building CARAS’s support base to sustainably increase our income. Working closely with the Head of Development and Impact, this will include:

Experience of working with government funding sources, be they bilateral and/or multilateral, is essential for this role. You will have proven experience of securing restricted funding from government sources, and a good understanding of how statutory donors and funding programmes support the achievement of international targets and government priorities.
You will also have excellent relationship-management and communications skills and be able to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, non-governmental partners, and government agencies. The Role
There are over 60 million working donkeys and mules in the world, but millions are being killed every year for the inhumane donkey skin trade, leading the African Union to announce plans for a moratorium on donkey slaughter and the development of a strategy for working animals across the continent. This huge opportunity is just one way that charity and its advocacy work can change the world for donkeys and mules, giving them the protection they need and the health and welfare they deserve.
As Head of Advocacy, you will work in partnership with the Director of Advocacy & Campaigns, the CEO and other Senior Management to deliver the organisational strategy by developing inspiring advocacy plans based on clear strategy, integrated with other departments of the organisation.
Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Director of Advocacy and Campaigns to design and implement an advocacy strategy to effect lasting change for donkeys and mules in line with our organisational aims.
- Building and developing networks of key stakeholders to achieve genuine change and lasting impact on the welfare of donkeys and mules.
- Representing the organisation at key stakeholder engagements, strategic high level forums and in the media, as appropriate.
- Functionally lead advocacy through the creation of a global advocacy strategy that supports teams to deliver high quality and consistent advocacy.
- Working closely with other departments to ensure advocacy integrates with other streams of the sanctuary’s work and ensure the organisation has the support and infrastructure to deliver excellent advocacy outcomes.
- Supporting advocacy needs both in team and organisationally when responding to events that are unexpected or unplanned.
- Overall responsibility for the work, financial budget and planning of the advocacy team and line manage posts in the department, as agreed with the Director.
About You
You will have:
- Significant experience in a strategic advocacy leadership role.

We are looking for our Youth President for 2025-2026 to work with the Connexional Team to:
- Enable, encourage and enthuse children and young people to get involved in every aspect of Church life
- Represent and host 3Generate, the Children and Youth Assembly of the Methodist Church
- Listen to the voices of children and young people from across the Methodist Church in Britain and to be advocate for them in the life of the Church at every level – this may involve a lot of independent travel, and evening and weekend travel
- Influence the decision-making of the Church by sharing the opinions and priorities of children and young people
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to travel and work around Britain and overseas, supporting children and young people from all backgrounds. The work is challenging and varied and you will have experience of public speaking, debating, team and independent working, report writing, listening and facilitation, worship leading and more.

The Digital Healthcare Manager is a new and exciting role at the College. This role will lead the development of the RCPCH Digital Health programme, aimed at understanding the range of technologies in use by the membership along with the digital confidence and competence of the membership through analysis of survey data. This analysis will help to provide details of key digital solutions for the workforce. The Digital Health programme will also support the workforce to embrace and implement digital health technologies into clinical practice.
As Digital Healthcare Manager, you will lead activities related to the integration of digital health technologies into mainstream paediatrics by participating in relevant Committees and working groups and reporting to Project Boards on the programme’s progress against agreed timelines, deliverables, risks and issues.
Based within the Research and Evidence team and reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will work with colleagues internally and externally to embed digital skills into the paediatric workforce as well as developing education and training resources for paediatricians, to help build capacity and capability.
You will also work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit and work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH Digital Health.
With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science or digital healthcare
component, you should have experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.
You should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work and have the ability to manage competing demands and conflicts whilst maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders.
With excellent organisational skills and the ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and capable of following standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, being able to work autonomously and take personal responsibility for your projects.

About the role:

The role of Homicide Caseworker is varied, demanding and rewarding; no two days are the same and you will thrive on this challenge. You will work closely with the Major Crime Police Units, Senior Investigators and Family Liaison Officers, you will provide a pivotal role to support clients through the Criminal Justice System. You will provide support to families by phone and Zoom when their usual Homicide Caseworker is unavailable. You will complete needs assessments, and will coordinate and deliver a tailored package of support alongside our commissioned providers and other key stakeholders.

You will have resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; have excellent listening skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy. You will enjoy the challenge of a busy caseload and will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisation skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload.
As a fully trained Homicide Family Caseworker you will be responsible for managing your own complex caseload to the highest quality standards.
This role is part of our remote working team and so you will be home-based, however you will need to be able to travel to work meetings and to attend training as required.
