The People and Culture Manager plays a crucial role in Whitechapel Gallery and is responsible for managing all aspects of the human resource function, ensuring that the organisation attracts, develops and retains high-quality staff. This role supports the Deputy Director in fostering a positive and inclusive working culture, whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practices.

We are looking for an experienced People and Culture Manager who can help us create an inclusive and inspirational culture and workplace experience for the 65 people (43 permanent and 22 fixed-term) who work at Whitechapel Gallery, ensuring alignment with our organisational values. We are seeking someone who takes a proactive approach to all
employment matters, will research changes in the sector, is up to date with new HR systems and can provide excellent and forward-thinking advice to the Senior Management Team on all matters related to HR.

They will have a proven track record in the design and implementation of relevant HR policies and processes, drawing upon best practice from across the sector. They will have experience in implementing initiatives to embed equality, diversity and inclusion and have a strong commitment to fostering open communications and positive employee relations.

Previous experience of the arts or non-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate empathy with the mission and vision of
Whitechapel Gallery and act with a high degree of personal integrity in a diverse cultural
environment.

Main Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a core member of the Central Team, working closely with the Marketing Team to develop and deliver the income stream for the charity with fundraising strategies that support StreetVet’s mission. This role will have budgetary responsibility and will involve building a donor database, donor and fundraiser stewardship, organising fundraising events, and securing grants and sponsorships.

The role will report to the Head of Marketing and will be responsible for driving forward all aspects of fundraising, including building corporate partnerships, individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, legacies and community.

Responsibilities:

Fundraising Management and Development

• Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement a balanced and realistic fundraising strategy, which builds on StreetVet’s strengths and maximises income for the charity.

• Deliver an integrated fundraising programme, which includes corporate partnerships, individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, legacies, community and events.

• Manage all aspects of finance and reporting relating to fundraising, including annual budgets, monthly reporting and re-forecasting. Provide monthly reports and updates on all fundraising activities and income streams

ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. Since 2006, we have successfully neutered nearly 20,000 cats and dogs, significantly impacting Romania's severe overpopulation of animals.

As a Fundraising Manager at ROLDA, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing our fundraising strategy. Premier, Europe’s largest Christian Media organisation, is seeking a Radio Fundraising Manager to play a vital role in supporting our mission to connect people with God through media. You will lead all on-air fundraising efforts, including the Charity of the Year appeal, working closely with content teams and external consultants to creatively engage our audience. You’ll manage appeal resources, coach presenters, and ensure compelling messaging across all platforms. By supporting Premier’s on-air fundraising, you directly contribute to Premier’s ability to help listeners deepen their Christian faith through media.

Role Overview

• You will be responsible for the operational delivery of on-air fundraising appeals, including briefing documents, promotional materials, and donation incentives.
• You will review and implement the use of impact audio from on-air appeals, coach presenters during appeals, and manage the On-Air Testimony Producer who secures live donor calls.
• You will be a key contributor to Premier’s on-air fundraising programme, overseeing monthly on-air fundraising messaging, script writing, production, and traffic scheduling.
• You will contribute ideas for capturing audience data and oversee the execution of on-air data capture campaigns.
• The role requires liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of fundraising appeals, compliance with Ofcom regulations, and maintaining Premier's commitment to quality and equality.

About the role

About us

We are recruiting for a Legal Clinic Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Dickson Poon School of Law’s award-winning clinic, King’s Legal Clinic (‘the Clinic’).  The Clinic aims to improve access to justice and educate King’s students by providing free legal advice to members of the public through its Legal Advice Clinic; and working with local and international organisations on research and justice projects.

The Clinic is a busy legal office and learning environment.  Clinic staff work closely and collaboratively with law students (curricular and extracurricular) and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

About the role

The Legal Clinic Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of King’s Legal Clinic (‘the Clinic’), under the direction of the Clinic Director and Assistant Director. The Legal Clinic Manager has line management responsibility for the Legal Clinic Coordinator and Legal Clinic Administrator.

Daily Clinic activities include; supervising students in the processing of potential client enquires across the in-house Legal clinics; suitability and conflict checks with law firm partners; allocation of cases to student advisors and internal and external supervisors; delivery and organisation of the Clinic’s research and justice projects and training program.

The Legal Clinic Manager is responsible for ensuring the Clinic works smoothly, efficiently and is a positive learning environment and workplace for students and Clinic staff.

The role holder must have excellent organisational, IT, project management, and communication skills.  An ability to relate to and work with a diverse range of students, partner organisations and clients. The position is likely to be of particular interest to a well-organised, proactive individual with experience of working in and managing in a legal environment and/or Higher Education with good academic qualifications. A background in legal practice and/or process improvement work, and demonstrable interest in access to justice is desirable.

The role is a full-time or part-time (0.8 minimum) post, and you will be offered an indefinite contract. The role is based in King’s Legal Clinic (Strand Campus) and will require regular attendance on campus.  Some remote working is possible by prior agreement with the Clinic Director.

Job Purpose:  The operational management for delivery of Short Breaks schemes across Surrey and West Sussex for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs.

• Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to expand the use of volunteers across Disability Services.

About the Role

The Director of Partnerships will lead TASC’s partnership efforts, responsible for cultivating and securing new partnerships, and delivering on partnership strategies. You will manage relationships with key strategic partners, donors, civil society allies, and academic stakeholders.   • Line-manage a direct report (Partnerships Manager).

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Right to work in London.
• Excellent written English.
• Proven experience in building cross-sector partnerships, especially with corporate partners.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• High level of initiative and ability to work independently.

Desirable:

• Experience in a corporate partnership or similar role.
• Knowledge or experience in the field of modern slavery, human rights, or development.
• Understanding of contracting and grant-making processes.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally.
