We are looking for someone who would enjoy the challenge of leading a team of staff who have lived experience of many of the issues facing children and young people on the estates of Eltham.
Superkidz Community Trust was founded in 2001 and over the years, has provided children and young people with a safe space to play and to interact with adults who have the time to listen to them. We have developed a model of engagement, Transform Group and Individual Mentoring (TGIM), that puts interaction at the heart – not simply providing activities but ensuring that there are sufficient adults around to engage the young person in conversation and the chance to express worries, self-doubt and concerns.
All our workers are drawn from the local community and many have been beneficiaries of Superkidz themselves. Most have lived experience of the issues facing our young people.
Following the retirement of our founder and Manager, Nick Russell, the Trustees are looking for a leader who will take the charity forward, support staff and help them to feel secure and confident in their abilities, while setting high standards in the workplace.

Job Description
Key accountabilities:
The Manager will:
· Be an integral member of the team delivering Superkidz day to day activities and groups.
· Following consultation with staff service users and the Board prepare a strategy, financial and operational plan that best delivers impact in line with the TGIM theory of change. This should include locations, staffing, activities, income generation and should be fully costed.
· Lead the organisation in the implementation and further development of this strategy in consultation with the Board.
· Proactively use quality and impact information and strategic analysis to inform the development of new programmes of work that improve the lives of beneficiaries.
· Ensure that systems and processes are in place to manage, monitor and report on all compliance issues including; safeguarding, health and safety, and risk.
· Take accountability for financial decisions that protect the charity’s funds, ensuring the charity is sustainable and fulfils the requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies.
· Ensure that there is an appropriate funding strategy in place to secure the greatest possible diversity of income, through commissions, grants, donations, fundraising and social enterprise trading, and lead on the delivery of subsequent plans.
· Lead on the effective management of all aspects of Superkidz services and staff team, ensuring that staffing systems and procedures are up to date, regularly reviewed, and fulfil legal requirements.
· Oversee and lead on the development of staff to ensure that all teams and individuals have the opportunity for development and can work at the highest level of performance. Mentor and cultivate the existing skills of staff, providing them with a platform to grow.
· Ensure that all Superkidz services are delivered in line with all external and internal quality standards and in line with commissioners/funders requirements.
· Develop and lead on a marketing and PR strategy that promotes Superkidz, raises awareness, and increases client and funder engagement.
· Develop and lead on an effective communications strategy, both internal and external.
· Lead on the strategy to assess and develop opportunities for collaborations, alliances, and partnerships that deliver increased impact and lead to financial sustainability.
· With the Fundraising Liaison Manager, demonstrate leadership in key strategic relationships with public bodies, funders, corporate sponsors and other external stakeholders, through a range of communications, networks and events.
· Ensure full, timely, accurate and effective communication with the Board of Trustees and any sub-committees of the Board.
· Ensure that all decisions made in the course of the role are made according to current legislation and in line with all instruments of governance.

Since 2006, ROLDA has dedicated itself to aiding vulnerable stray animals in Romania, one of Europe s poorer nations. Our mission includes rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Our EU-standard shelters, inspired by British designs, can house up to 700 stray dogs, providing them with complete veterinary care and preparation for rehoming.
We have supported over 48,000 animals and built two dog shelters and one for disabled and senior cats. Additionally, we offer small grants to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We primarily rehome animals in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. By addressing the root causes of animal homelessness through neutering programmes and educational initiatives, we have significantly reduced overpopulation, helping over 40,000 cats and dogs in Romania and Ukraine.

Main Responsibilities
- Marketing outreach and project management
- Work alongside the Director of Marketing & Communications to action the charity’s strategic marketing plan.
- Lead a team of marketeers in planning, delivering and measuring effective projects to drive revenue and reach across multiple areas of the company.

FUNDRAISING OFFICER - EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives as we work to scale our fundraising by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling fundraising operational duties
This is a new role, joining a small but growing Fundraising and Events Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will oversee most fundraising income generation activity.
The Fundraising Officer will build positive relationships to secure significant income and develop new relationships with groups, business and individuals, bringing in regular and targeted income through regular donations, fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have fundraising experience covering several areas including Individual Giving; Fundraising Appeals/Campaigns as well as experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising (database, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations, creating fundraising campaigns and ‘asks’). Through this, you will assist the whole organisation in our commitment to showing kindness, raising self-belief, and inspiring hope for the future in the individuals we support.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising Overview
- Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for The Cinnamon Trust.
- Maximise the contributions and connections with local business and individuals.
- Coordinate all appeals including The Big Walk across all income and media streams.
- Research and utilise new fundraising streams and opportunities such as Payroll Giving, Legacies (with help from The Legacy Officer), in Memory Giving and Online Giving.
Supporter Engagement and Stewardship
- Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to The Trust’s supporters.
- To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all fundraising volunteers and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes, in conjunction with other teams.
- Develop and implement Fundraising groups across the UK
Database Management
- To ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
- Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed.
- Train other staff members to support general fundraising.
- Ensure all records, fundraising data and fundraising administration is kept up to date and all information is GDPR-compliant.

Fundraising Appeals and Campaigns
- Work alongside teams and PR and Communications Manager to promote The Cinnamon Trust.
- Establish a corporate fundraising strategy with an accompanying narrative, alongside the PR and Communications Manager.
- Tailor campaigns and appeals for different audiences and supporters alongside PR and Communications Manager to target corporates; smaller local businesses and individuals
Staff and Volunteers
- Support with recruiting fundraising volunteers as appropriate.
- Work closely with Head of Operations and PR and Communications Manager to ensure all fundraising is coordinated.
Wider organisational responsibilities
- Read and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Lead on applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies with support from the Head of Operations.

- Considerable experience and competence in planning, developing and managing the operations of a successful Sales/Fundraising Team.
- Experience and skill in new business development.
- Willingness and ability to undertake basic administrative activities (not expecting of others what you would not do yourself).
- Highly computer literate with strong competence in using mainstream computing packages and products.
- Driven, proactive and productive self-starter – able to work efficiently and achieve a lot under their own steam but not afraid to ask questions when needed and manage up.
- An enthusiastic, driven and sensitive leader – able to inspire and encourage others to give their best.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise and manage own (and other people's) workload.
- Confident, professional and friendly communicator with a hands on approach.

Salary for this role is £70k to £80k depending on experience plus bonus and car allowance.
