Kids Club Kampala is a UK charity with a Christian ethos that works to transform the lives of children in the slums of Kampala in Uganda. We help children and families in Uganda to survive and to thrive by providing for both their immediate needs and strengthening their futures through community outreach, protecting, educating, and skilling. We work in partnership with our team in Uganda who passionately lead and implement our projects which are a life line to some of the most vulnerable children in the world.
The role of the Head of Fundraising is to raise funds and awareness of the work of Kids Club Kampala through developing and implementing the fundraising strategy of the charity. We have grown significantly in recent years, both in impact and income.
Our current income is a mix of grant funding, individual giving and community fundraising. The Head of Fundraising will build on our strengths and successes in these areas, whilst also developing new income streams – namely major donor income, corporate partnerships and fundraising appeals. They will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Board of Trustees and the CEO, leading the Fundraising Team to meet or exceed ambitious fundraising targets; building upon existing networks, creating new fundraising partnerships and overseeing effective relationships to increase the income of the charity.

The role
This role will support the Senior Finance Business Partner to build Salix’s reputation as trustworthy stewards of public money. You will lead on all aspects of the financial monitoring and reporting for specific business areas, ensuring actuals and budgets/ forecasts are critiqued and reviewed before submission to the Senior Finance Business Partner.
In this role you will support the delivery of a high-quality management reporting and business partnering service that facilitates effective business insights into our administration costs. You will work closely with the Financial Reporting team to support the monthly Trial Balance submission to DESNZ. You will be managing your own areas of budget and have the ability to build strong relationships with budget holders and their teams.
Key responsibilities include though may not be limited to the following:
• Monitor actuals against budget/forecast and maintain accurate records in line with budget categories for costs within area of responsibility.
• Working with budget holders and the wider Finance team, to ensure all relevant accruals, prepayments, and miscode journals are posted in accordance with the month-end timetable.
• Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in producing monthly management and board reports, including the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators, which highlight key risks/opportunities and provides insightful business intelligence for area of responsibility for review by the Senior Finance Business Partner.

Job Summary
We have one 14-21 hours part time role that can be based from our Manchester, London, Bristol or Newcastle office. The salary for this role is £12,658-18,987 per year (£31,645 per year full time equivalent). This is a temporary role on a one-year fixed term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organised and professional individual to join our team to support our work with young LGBTQ+ people facing homelessness. This role will support the Fundraising team to maximise their database usage by acting as an in-house CRM and data expert. Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Fundraising team to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data within the Access Charity CRM.
- Regularly audit the database to identify and rectify data quality issues.
- Implement best practices for data entry, data management, and data governance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the charity and the Access Charity CRM provider, project managing the development of new CRM features, training programs, and system enhancements.

Job Description
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) created the Culture Recovery Fund (CRF) to help cultural organisations and heritage sites during the COVID-19 pandemic. This Fund included a £254 million loans programme for arts, culture and heritage organisations. Arts Council acts as loan agent for the borrowers in the programme portfolio.
You will be responsible for all aspects of Arts Council's management of the CRF loans portfolio. You will be the principal contact with DCMS and will be required to meet with them regularly to report on a range of CRF loans portfolio issues and activities including formal portfolio reviews, loan re-profile recommendations, commissioning of external legal and financial advice, loans management process and systems.
The CRF Loans Director will have direct line management responsibility for the CRF loans team and your duties will include:
- Overseeing effective loans monitoring processes to identify where borrowers' business performance indicates a risk to loan repayment
- Reporting to DCMS on the performance of the loans' portfolio on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Making recommendations on appropriate action to take on defaulting or at-risk loans.
- Ensuring performance management, risk and internal controls are in place and used effectively.
The Successful Applicant
The successful CRF Loans Director will hold an ACA/CCAB/CIMA qualification (or equivalent) with experience of working at a senior level and exposure to working with loan lenders and borrowers.
You will have excellent financial analysis skills and be able to present complex financial information in simple understandable form to decision makers and others.
Ideally you will have a background within an audit and/or social impact organisation and have an understanding of shaping a loans fund.

My Health Matters supports people experiencing homelessness to address physical and mental health issues through the delivery of a Homeless Health Peer Advocacy service. The Criminal Justice Services Directorate is an incredibly important part of our organisation, delivering services in the community and in secure settings including Prisons, with a range of individuals and groups that have all been impacted by sexual harms (including sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation, or boys and men) alongside the impact on their families and friends.
Over the past 15+ years we have grown as an organisation, both physically and metaphorically, and we’re now supporting approximately 2,500 male survivors every single year across all our services in the Community Services Directorate and the Criminal Justice Services Directorate. The current state of the criminal justice system, the difficulties in the mental health system, the cost of living and other societal pressures will make the next few years both challenging and fascinating and you could get to help shape our local and regional response, along with influencing the national discussion on tackling sexual and domestic abuse, gender-based violence, and the ever-growing prison population.

The Worker Support Centre (WSC) is a Scotland based charity that promotes decent work and prevents exploitation. We support marginalised and isolated workers in labour sectors where there is a high risk of abuse and exploitation. We work in partnership with workers to build power to secure and advance workplace rights. We prevent human trafficking for forced labour by acting to reduce the risks of worker exploitation. WSC values include: respect for human rights, representation, transparency, equality and innovation.
WSC support includes advice, mediation, advocacy and assisted reporting to enforcement agencies. Our worker engagement informs policy change activity to address harms faced by those in high-risk work. In 2023 and 2024 WSC activities were targeted at workers in seasonal agriculture on the UK Seasonal Worker visa (SWV). During this time, we provided advice, support, and information to 1031 people in relation to the SWV. WSC is now embarking on a new project to engage workers in health and social care to advance social care workers’ rights through worker education and power sessions.
About the role
This role is focused on advancing seasonal agricultural and social care workers’ rights by supporting WSC’s policy and advocacy work. In this role you will support WSC meet two of its four core objectives to work together with workers to claim spaces for power and representation in decision making; and to build the field of knowledge about workers and their experiences to influence policy. As well as work delivered directly by WSC, our policy work includes coordinating with coalitions such as the Ethical Trading Initiative, the Seasonal Worker Interest Group and the Scottish Food Coalition.
WSC strives to achieve representation of individuals with lived experience of the issues on which we work at all levels of our organisation and actively promote applications from individuals with experience of the issues on which we work.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Policy and advocacy
· Lead in the development of components of policy, ensuring engagement of workers and cross-organisational engagement.
· Identify emerging legislation and develop an influencing strategy.
· Lead key influencing moments and processes, working in collaboration with policy coalitions of which WSC is part.
· Draft worker-informed and evidenced briefings, submissions to consultations in support of worker policy priorities and engage closely with civil servants, Government officials and other decision makers on policy objectives.

1) KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

Job Description
The purpose of this role is three-fold.
First, to ensure that Sustrans has the people, money, processes, controls and systems to deliver its 2025-30 strategy, as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Second, to support the CEO in holding the organisation to account for delivery, and to drive continual improvement of this delivery across all functions.
Third, through effective financial planning and control, to ensure that Sustrans remains financially sustainable.
To do this effectively, this role is responsible for the following functions: Finance; IT; People; Planning, Governance & Assurance.
Key responsibilities:Finance
- Responsible for the overall financial strategy and financial planning for the charity, including the development of effective financial policies, and for the annual budget and business plan.
- Leading all financial operations of the organisation including business partnering, financial analysis, accounting and treasury, contract and grants management, and procurement. Provide regular financial updates, recommendations and strategic insights to the Executive, Board of Trustees and associated sub-committees.

Role Summary
The Head of Sector Programmes plays a significant role in the strategy, design and delivery of our programme of support for students exploring their career options. This includes managing a team of Programme Managers who lead their own teams of Programme Coordinators to deliver key upReach programmes, planning high quality events, managing relationships with external stakeholders, and evaluating impact.
They will report to the Director of Programmes, and will be a member of the Programmes Senior Leadership Team, taking responsibility for the development and implementation of an effective programme design and strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Head of Sector Programmes: This person will contribute to upReach's mission by working to ensure the smooth running of upReach’s core programmes, focused on our sector-specific support. To be successful, it is anticipated that you would have substantial knowledge and experience in:
Delivering all aspects of a programme end to end, from design to delivery and reporting and evaluation.
Overseeing multiple programmes simultaneously, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across all programmes.
Making complex decisions taking into account beneficiary needs, stakeholder needs, wider organisation strategy and the mission of the charity.
Driving unique programme Objectives and Key Results and contributing to wider organisational strategy, intervening and supporting where necessary to ensure these are both met.
Partnership management, in the corporate or charity space.
Working directly with key stakeholders to manage and grow a relationship and/or partnership.
Managing and motivating a team remotely across different locations. This will also involve overseeing team performance and managing this where appropriate.
Managing individuals at different levels, including managers, and providing coaching and training to teams.
Taking a lead on finding solutions to problems, within a fast-paced environment.

There’s immense need as well as massive opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the diverse young people of London with the love and message of Jesus. Young Life International staff and volunteers are building relationships with young people across London and introducing them to Jesus Christ. This is a fast growing ministry having started the London focus in 2019 we now have staff and leaders in 10 boroughs, working with approximately 1,000 young people, with a goal to double in the next 3-5 years. YLI London is part of a UK wide ministry that is, in turn, part of the Global Ministry of Young Life, introducing young people across the world to Jesus for over 75 years.
We are looking to recruit an excellent London-based administrator, to support our staff and volunteers in this crucial work. You would be working independently, with some travel around London and the UK, as well as occasional travel outside the UK. Supported by the London Director as well as the YLI UK Operations Team.
