About the role
In this exciting and challenging role you will support the fundraising team to build and develop relationships with corporates which result in the generation of income and beneficial strategic partnerships for Surrey Wildlife Trust. Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager and working with other members of the Fundraising and Communications teams, this role will be responsible for account support for existing corporate members and partners, creation and delivery of corporate communications plans and organisation of corporate volunteering events.
Using existing leads plus building new relationships, your creative flair will generate compelling content and proposals tailored to different audiences and feed into press releases, newsletters, pitches and social media posts. There are real opportunities to shine whilst promoting our essential aim to connect nature.
Travel across Surrey will be a necessary part of the role to visit our projects, sites, donors and other partners.

You will be a Mental Health Deputy Manager who is passionate about supporting MAC-UK’s objective of working collaboratively with young people, innovating services and systems and their approach to mental health, to address health and social inequalities. This will be a residential support service for young people aged 16-24 years at risk of serious youth violence, who are already caught up in the criminal justice system and at high risk of remaining part of the system. You will be working across three London properties alongside a large multi-agency staff team made up of experts by experience/profession in psychology and therapy; youth work; offending; education, training, and employment (ETE) and housing. The service will work creatively and holistically to enable young people to exit environments involving youth violence, identify and reach their goals and aspirations, move on successfully to appropriate independent living, and importantly to sustain this life. Wherever possible staff and young people will co-produce what this service looks like and what activities the young people engage in.

What you’ll get to do:
This role combines soliciting new prospect donors, donor management, partnership development, and data-driven campaign execution. The ideal candidate will be skilled in relationship building, fundraising strategy, and donor engagement, with a demonstrable passion for Travalyst’s mission of promoting sustainable travel and tourism.
Donor Management (~40%)
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of individual donors, corporate and institutional foundations to secure philanthropic and private funding and advance Travalyst’s mission.

- Strategise with senior leadership to retain and upgrade current donors, including personalised engagement for high-value supporters.

The Food Chain exists to ensure people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy, independent lives. We deliver meals, groceries and formula milk, run cookery and nutrition classes, and hold twice-weekly communal meals for some of the most vulnerable and isolated people living with HIV in London.
We are the only HIV Nutrition specialist charity in the UK: we exist at the intersection between HIV, food poverty and social isolation. Everyone accessing our services is referred by a health or social care professional who has identified that they are experiencing crisis. Each person receives a personalised Dietetic Assessment from one of our HIV Specialist Dietitians, designed specifically to meet their needs. By offering a tailored package of support, at the appropriate time, we help people to lead healthy, independent lives.
The Grants and Fundraising Manager will work closely with the CEO in order to ensure that income is secured to enable the delivery and sustainability of our services and activities. Taking the lead on applications to trusts and grant giving organisations, the successful candidate will also work with our fundraising working group (made up of staff, trustees and volunteers) to maximise diverse income generation strategies on a community and individual level.

Key Activities & Accountabilities:
Income generation
• Research, prepare and submit high quality applications for core and project funding to Charitable Trusts and Foundations, corporate bodies and other partners as required to meet the charity’s core purpose

• Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing Trust funders, donors and other supporters of The Food Chain as appropriate
