About you
As our Philanthropy Executive (Trusts & Foundations), you will be responsible for maximising income through managing a portfolio of four-to-five figure partners and prospects, engage with key external supporters and help the team build relationships with individual philanthropists and trusts through meetings, events, tailored communications and funding applications.
You will also play an essential role in building and nurturing relationships with UK-based trusts, supporting both our international and UK-based initiatives.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Coordinate and provide high-level stewardship to our Small Trusts Portfolio through quarterly mailings that highlight the achievements and impact of Save the Children, fostering long-term donor support.
- Create bespoke proposals for donations up to £75,000, supporting our diverse projects both in the UK and internationally.
- Assist the Trusts team in maintaining and developing donor relationships, contributing to day-to-day partnership activities.
- Collaborate with the High Value Engagement team to deliver a range of communications aligned with our departmental strategy.
- Support the Trusts team during emergencies to maximize fundraising efforts for humanitarian responses globally.
- Aid the Trusts & Foundations Lead with financial information, pipeline management, and ensure donor records are up to date.
- Represent Save the Children at peer networking meetings, showcasing our work and values.

Ways of Working:

Facilities Assistant

This role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 which includes some weekends and bank holidays.
WWT’s Martin Mere Wetland Centre is a world-famous nature reserve and wetland animal collection, which attracts over 200,000 visits every year.
We are currently looking for a proactive and innovative individual, with experience of buildings and grounds maintenance, to become our Facilities Assistant. You will work in a customer focused environment in a small team led by the Facilities Manager, which is responsible for the maintenance and strategic development of our visitor centre and all other buildings and infrastructure.
You will be key in providing an excellent visitor experience by ensuring the grounds are kept in a clean and tidy manner and ensure that the visitor’s facilities are clean, well-stocked and maintained. You will also assist the Facilities team with maintenance tasks, routing checks of systems and working on any projects to improve the site.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

Sound & Art at St Swithun’s
Sound & Art at St Swithun’s (SASS) is a £2.8M Heritage Lottery Funded project, to create an arts space in the heart of Worcester city centre. The Grade I listed church has been transformed through conservation and adaptation, giving it a new lease of life. SASS launched in late October 2022.
· Sound & Art at Swithun’s aims to be a major player in the city’s cultural life;

Overall job purpose
You will provide effective on-site caretaking and cleaning services as part of the Sound & Art at St Swithun’s Team. You will also assist with the setting up and taking down of equipment for events and ensure the church is opened/locked as required for volunteers, event promoters, workshop providers and venue hires.

About this key role
As a Specialist Caseworker, you will provide peer supervisory support to the team within the wider hospital-based services, which includes deputising for the Senior Caseworker when required, and support the Data Coordinator and Senior Caseworker with the collation of information and data for project monitoring purposes. You will develop and maintain an up-to-date and accurate resource of suitable onward referrals and develop and maintain strong relationships with both clinicians and hospital staff and with other services in the hospital, i.e CAMHS, IDVA, COMPASS.
We will count on you to identify and assess young victims of violence, producing support and risk management plans based on these assessments, and to provide support, advice and advocacy for children, young people and their families as they plan to be discharged from hospital back into the community. You will also deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, which will see you provide practical help such as social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, and appearing in court.
What we are looking for
- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children
- Experience of providing support, advice and advocacy
- Substantial experience of assessing the needs of young people at risk of significant harm
- Experience in working as part of a multi-agency team, working together to achieve positive outcomes for young people and establishing links to further the aims of a project
- Experience of using support plans, to enable people to successfully access support services
- Substantial experience of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people
- Excellent IT, prioritisation, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.

Step-Out Mentoring is an early intervention mentoring organisation that provides support for children and young people in the heart of South London through outdoor based 1:1 mentoring and group workshops. As the Mentoring Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the work of supporting young people in the community. Supporting 1:1 and group sessions with a particular focus on delivering outdoor based, fun, and engaging sessions. This role is specifically to support the young women and girls on the programme.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of up to 20 active 1:1 mentee / mentor relationships.
- Building appropriate relationships with, and supporting YP through 1:1 and group mentoring
- Supporting girls through focused workshops and group activities. Developing a curiculum of suport for them.
- Create pathways for inspiring YP to engage in positive volunteering opportunities.
- Managing referrals from other organisations and being involved in the support systems in place for those young people.
- To co-ordinate and train a team of volunteer mentors who will provide support to young people on a weekly basis. Specifically female mentors.
- To ensure the volunteer mentors support young people to access services and develop skills and support them in making choices which will help them improve their physical, psychological and social well-being.
- To ensure safeguarding and child protection processes are in place and adhered to at all times.
- To work with community organisations and statutory agencies to create referral and access pathways into and out of the mentoring project and to promote the project as widely aspossible.

The role

Purpose of the role
Co-production in terms of design, delivery and evaluation is fundamental to the programme, and so we are looking for a person with direct lived experience of MHLDA inpatient services to join the FoNS team and to lead on co-production, bringing a lived experience lens to our team.
As an organisation we recognise that FoNS is at the start of our co-production journey. So, whilst the primary focus of the role is leading the co-production element of the mental health programme, working closely with the programme lead, a secondary purpose is supporting the development of co-production throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities will primarily consist of:
· Working as part of the FoNS Leadership Team for the FoNS Ward Manager Programme including attending relevant meetings with NHS England
· Playing a leading role and taking operational responsibility for co-production within the FoNS Ward Manager Programme. This includes meaningful engagement of persons with lived experience of mental health, learning disabilities and autism, families and carers, and staff throughout programme design, delivery, governance and evaluation
· Working as a part of the FoNS team, bringing a lived experience lens to support, promote and develop co-production across the organisation
· Understanding lived experience from a range of sources ensuring a broad demographic is represented and feed this into the FoNS team and co-production work
· Visibly advocating for lived experience involvement for FoNS
· Contributing to the ongoing development and lived reality of the FoNS’ ways of working
· Supporting FoNS with the co-creation of their next strategy which will commence in November 2024
A picture of day-to-day working might include:
· Preparing for and contributing to relevant meetings and monthly reports for NHS England
· Contacting, building relationships with, and offering support to persons with lived experience who are already or who may be interested in contributing to the co-production work
· Working with FoNS Finance to ensure all persons involved are fairly paid for their participation

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Events Manager, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing outdoor, parks and corporate events. From supporting enquiries to increase sales conversions to helping customers plan and manage their events safely and successfully.
The Events Team are a busy, creative, tight knit group of vibrant professionals who are looking for someone to join the team who pride themselves in 5 start customer service and going the extra mile for their clients. In the Events Team we celebrate creative problem solving, autonomy and integrity in our approach to work.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience with managing event applications and processing health and safety paperwork in parks, outdoor venues, or local authorities. Someone equally comfortable with advising professional event companies as well as supporting first-time community organisers and someone who can balance our commitment to not overwhelming our public spaces but also with a keen understanding of achieving revenue targets.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Venue Management:
- Providing clients with venue availability, quotes, and conducting site visits
- Briefing clients on T&Cs for hire and licenses and supporting clients making event applications
- Ensuring all event application paperwork per event is complete and compliant with the requirements of the Event Policy
- Overseeing health & safety procedures; liaising with security personnel and conduct thorough site inspections before, during, and after events
- Working with internal & external contractors to secure the necessary services for each event and ensure clients are billed accurately
- Collaborating on developing new event opportunities to maximize revenue for the park(s)
- Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure all park events and activities are well coordinated
- Maintaining clear communication with clients to address their needs and work with the site team to fulfill their requests
- Supporting and attending events / productions as required
Admin and Finance:
- Managing event bookings and venue schedules to maximise revenue
- Raising invoices and purchase orders for clients, tracking corporate bookings income and expenses, ensuring smooth cash flow, and keeping budget up to date
- Ensuring all supplier’s paperwork is checked and uploaded to the system
- Raising contracts and agreements, ensuring all aspects of the event are clearly outlined and protected
- Updating the booking system with all confirmed event details, ensuring all details are documented and ensuring efficient scheduling and avoiding conflicts
- Preparing and submitting TEN applications to relevant authorities for events requiring permits in public spaces or with specific restrictions
- Supporting the Head of Events and Senior Events Manager with various projects, taking ownership and initiative
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience planning and managing events, ensuring a positive client experience
- Management of multiple clients simultaneously, providing confident and patient guidance to clients
- Proficient in a range of office software; Outlook, Excel, Xero
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff and senior management
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently against deadlines
- Proactive approach and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create best customer experience possible
- You can work autonomously while readily collaborating with the wider events team

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small charity at a time of big growth. Go-Forward Youth was founded by care leavers to provide support to care experienced young people as they transition to adulthood and independence. Our core aim is to reduce social isolation and improve outcomes for young adults who have recently left the care system by offering a place for them to turn in moments of loneliness, crisis and celebration, and offering programmes that support them to develop the skills required for living independently. Our long-term vision is to combat the stigma that surrounds care leaving so that care leavers feel supported and empowered to achieve their ambitions without barriers to access.
We run a busy programme of social activities, personal development and employability skills training for care leavers across London and are looking for a hardworking, highly motivated and conscientious individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the charity.
Main Tasks:
To support the Go-Forward Youth CEO in maintaining professional, robust, and efficient administrative systems and records for both Go-Forward Youth as follows:
1.Be the first point of contact for both entities and to manage the office email account and diary, drawing to CEO, Funding Manager or Chair of Trustees matters that they need to action, and ensuring that we respond in timely fashion to all external communications.
2. Administration of courses and programmes
a. Maintain lists of participants and volunteers, including attendance logs
b. Ensure that we maintain appropriate records for each – for identification and compliance, for communications, and for programme progress
c. Produce and distribute regular updates to both volunteers and programme participants
d. Liaise with Local Authorities (LAs) regarding the administrative aspects of developing Go-Forward Youth projects and programmes in other LA boroughs
e. Assist with recruitment and onboarding and on boarding of new staff.
f. Maintain risk assessment, safeguarding, fire safety and other records, making sure all policies are reviewed and updated yearly. Ensure that all staff and volunteers working with clients have been DBS checked (Enhanced).
3. Administration of grant applications
a. Support the Funding Manager by logging, recording and monitoring the progress of Go-Forward Youth grant and funding applications, along with report deadline.
b. Update the CEO and Trustees on in-progress funding applications and ensure action is taken and deadlines are met where necessary.
c. For grants won, ensure that reporting cycles are noted in the charity’s diary, and that the appropriate reports to funders get sent
4. Administration of Board and other internal compliance processes
a. Meet with the CEO weekly to review the overall performance and objectives of the charity.
b. Maintain systemised record keeping of invoices and receipts, to be stored securely and sent to the relevant key personnel.
c. Undertake any other administrative activity necessary to support the smooth running of the charity as instructed by the CEO.
d. Assist the Treasurer or Chair in the preparation, administration and submission of the annual accounts to the Charity Commission and Companies House in a timely manner.
e. Assist in the preparation of board meeting papers, including circulating meeting agendas and taking and distributing minutes of meetings as required.
f. Prepare and send out personalised birthday and celebration cards to young participants.
g. Look for opportunities to create, develop and streamline existing office systems.
h. Support the administration of the lived-experience-led Youth Advisory Board (YAB) and Own-It Alumni Network.
i. Maintain and develop clear and full electronic and physical filing systems.
j. Organise the logistics, catering and other event organisation for the quarterly Trustee meetings and other ad hoc meetings and events as appropriate.
5. Administration of external communications
a. Update and review the communication channels, via website or social media fortnightly.

The Imperial Legacy team raises philanthropic income from alumni and friends who leave the university gifts in their will.

Duties and responsibilities

We’re looking for an Insight Executive with data experience to join the Strategic Insight team.
As the Insight Executive, you will be providing quality data to teams across the organisation for marketing and supporting purposes. You will be working with our software to extract data, build communication journeys, and run data processes. This role is key to the organisation, and in ensuring we are raising funds to support children and young people with cancer.
This role is an opportunity to work across a range of data led projects and challenges. Our team is continually adapting and improving; we are looking for a candidate who can shape this role over time, and who we can support to grow in this role.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the Job Description.
• To select and extract data from the database and fully clean the resulting data before sending on to be used for campaigns and other areas of work
• To maximise the benefits of our database by working with team colleagues to deliver data selections, data reports, and data exploration
• Be responsible for incoming data administrative requests and run regular administrative tasks to keep data clean and up to date on the CARE CRM system (our supporter database)
• Be proactive in learning to use new software – we use FastStats, and are currently bringing in PeopleStage, a product to manage supporter data, and the Insight Executive will be regularly using this software .
• On an ongoing basis, to identify areas for improvement including data quality, and increasing internal and external stakeholder satisfaction
• Participate in projects or lead discrete project work and support other areas within the directorate as and when require

About the role Finance and Support Services Officer
Sightsavers are excited to be recruiting a new team member to join their Cameroon country office. The Finance Support and Services Officer provides finance management support for the Country Office under the leadership of Finance & Support Services Manager.
Knowledge, skills and experience
In collaboration with colleagues the Finance and Support Services Officer will continually ensure quality and consistency of financial management in the country office. They will support the development of solutions to financial or support related problems, support the monitoring of country resource management and identification risks or issues to the Programme Manager.
The post-holder will ensure that financial management and risk mitigation are compliant with local regulations and adhere to the organisational Financial Framework by implementing financial controls, planning and budgeting. The role will lead support services for the country office by managing logistics of procurement supplies, manage payroll and work with programme and finance teams to review programme/project reports, planning and analysis, auditing of funds provided and grant management reporting.
The preferred candidate will have a relevant professional accounting qualification and a degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting or related field. Previous experience working in an INGO environment is desirable, with experience of audit and government organisations being an advantage. A background in financial management is required, as are budget and data analysis skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
