About the role
This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT+ people who have experienced sexual violence. Your work will enable LGBT+ people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
You will work directly with LGBT+ victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related experiences of sexual violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.
You will sit alongside our other advocates supporting LGBT+ people facing abuse or violence. You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of LGBT+ survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. You will also work closely with key partner organisations by attending meetings and have the opportunity to take part in external work to ensure a joined-up approach among services working with LGBT+ people facing abuse and violence.
This is a pivotal moment in Galop’s journey. We have grown quickly over the last six years and you will be part of the future of our work. You’ll help us reach, support and assist more of our community nationally. You’ll be helping to amplify the voices of LGBT+ survivors of abuse, and ensure that they are at the centre of Galop’s service.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting LGBT+ people who have experienced sexual violence. You will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by LGBT+ people and be committed to providing empathetic, person-centred support. You will be able to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism, maintaining strong boundaries while being supportive and empowering.
You will have expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services and you will need to be solutions-focussed and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care and be prepared to work in an environment where abuse and violence are regularly talked about. You’ll need to understand the impact of trauma and how that affects our team. In-house support, upskilling, and training will be provided – you don’t need to be an expert in abuse and violence to be the right person for this role.
There is a genuine occupational requirement under the Sexual Orientation Regulations 2003 for this post. It is considered essential that post holders have experience of LGBT+ needs, and impact of discrimination as the Helpline is run for LGBT people experiencing domestic violence.

You don’t need a background in tax policy if you can demonstrate an ability to learn and master complex policy briefs. You do need to be hungry for change and be able to convince people in positions of power that progressive tax reform is sensible and feasible. Your policy expertise, political nouse and parliamentary knowledge will help the team to deliver change.
TJ-UK has a track record of securing campaign wins. We have built strong relationships with parliamentarians, policy makers and a network of influential think tanks and organisations. We also have excellent relationships with many influential media outlets, regularly securing extensive media coverage on tax justice issues.

The client is currently working with 33 schools and 33 churches in developing discipleship pathways for children and young people in Bolton. One key aspect of this project is the ‘Shades Project’, which focuses on racial justice and faith, supporting schools and churches in developing a culture for all children and young people, regardless of racial background, to thrive and flourish. In response to the exciting growth of the Shades Project, they are looking to appoint a Shades Schools Worker, to support the growing opportunities for Christian discipleship, and to embed the Shades ethos, in primary and secondary schools and parishes in Bolton deanery.
The Shades Schools Worker will work with the Shades team, in primary and secondary schools, delivering Shades Collective Worship and Shades ‘Safe Space’ workshops. They will also lead Shades Ambassadors groups, for those children and young people who are passionate about growing in their understanding of racial justice, the Christian faith and becoming courageous advocates. The Shades Schools Worker will also work with Bolton parishes and mission communities to promote the Christian message of God’s love for all of his children, encouraging children, young people and adults to celebrate their God-given identities and to grow spiritually.
The Shades Schools Worker will have many opportunities for training and development, as well as the creative freedom to develop initiatives for children and young people. They will work within a highly motivated and supportive team, who are committed to prayer and to welcoming children and young people into the life of the church.
The post holder should have experience of volunteering with children or young people in a church and/or school context. They will have a good knowledge of anti-racism and racial justice and a strong passion for a combined focus on the Christian faith and racial justice as well as experience of working with diverse communities.
To succeed, they need to be enthusiastic, relational, self-motivated and able to lead in a range of different contexts. They will be creative and able to lead and support activities in schools and parishes. They will be excellent communicators, with good interpersonal skills, sensitivity and an ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. They will be able to build and maintain effective working partnerships and have a working understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Main purpose of the post
As a Service Manager you will play a vital role in driving the operational delivery of our Youth in Mind partnership; overseeing subcontracted providers, developing and implementing comprehensive workstreams and mobilising a system-wide approach to improving referral pathways into mental health support. Key duties
· Work collaboratively with partner organisations, including subcontracted providers, internal and external stakeholders across the system
· Contract-manage subcontracted providers, ensuring high quality support is delivered across the partnership
· Drive implementation of key whole-programme workstreams, including, but not limited to youth voice, trauma-informed approaches, tackling inequalities and workforce development

About the role:
The Advance Prison Advocate will support women on remand and those unsentenced within the prison setting, providing pre-release support; focused on Accommodation, Finance, debt & benefits, Family & significant others and Social inclusion.
The Prison Advocate will develop a referral pathway with the Offender Management team within the prison, for women to access the service and will work in partnership with the existing service providers operating within the prison. You will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling you to support them to address their needs and any risks in relation to the interventions identified above including providing ‘through the gate support’. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women in custody.
You will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working with women in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally working with prisoners and/or their families.
You will build strong relationships with the Pre Release teams to ensure clients are able to maintain or access suitable accommodation, finance, benefits and debt, family and social inclusion support including negotiating terms on behalf of the women. Ensure that interventions are responsive to and meet the needs of women from diverse and minoritised backgrounds. This, together with referrals to wider partner organisations in the community, will ensure additional support needs are addressed post-release and continuity of support exists
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the Advance Prison Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
Knowledge and experience of the criminal justice system obtained through academic study, experience of working in the criminal justice system (or closely associated social system).
The ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons.
You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines
You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

What the job involves
As the leader of a flexible and multi-skilled team, a mixture of Health Influencing and Policy specialists you’ll use your expert knowledge and skills to maximise the positive impact that we have in shaping health policy and practice to effectively deliver on our strategic priority to maximise our positive impact for men with prostate cancer.
You’ll provide effective and timely analysis of a wide range of complex policy issues, identifying policy developments that we can and should influence, or that we should support the implementation of, to further our impact with our communities. You will promote understanding of the health and care system among internal staff and our external communities and audiences.
You’ll grow our ability to successfully influence key stakeholders for the delivery of our strategy, particularly NICE for approval of new treatments. You’ll ensure that the team have strategic relationships with health stakeholders across the UK (e.g. Cancer Alliances/Health Boards) so that we can proactively engage them to support the delivery of our strategic priorities and rapidly react to care issues that arise.

About the Role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to work as CYP IDVA supporting survivors of VAWG and raising awareness of domestic abuse in schools for those aged 16-25. As an CYP IDVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of abuse including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referral. In addition, you will act as a domestic abuse lead for Solace in Barnet providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and schools.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.
About You
We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending VAWG and a solid understanding of how domestic or sexual violence against a parent can affect a child in the home. You will have a “can-do‟ approach, experience of working with families and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. - Support country programmes to integrate and prioritise WASH Climate Resilient measures in key national policies, strategies, and planning frameworks such as NAPs and NDCs.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships, the knowledge base and thought leadership in WASH and Climate resilient programming through networking and advocacy.
- Participate or represent WaterAid in key processes, discussions and planning platforms on WASH and Climate Resilience related issues.
To be successful, you will need the following:
- A minimum of a master's degree in the environment or climate-related studies, such as environmental studies/water resource management, climate science, or another relevant technical field.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in climate change, sustainable development, capacity building and WASH-related programmes for developing countries is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in working to strengthen elements of WASH systems and understanding of WASH interaction with other systems such as climate change and programme/project development and management in any INGOs or organization.
- Excellent understanding and experience in National Adaptation Planning (NAP) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) revision and implementation
- Strong experience in at least one of WaterAid's key thematic areas and approaches on Water security, climate change, Water resource management, Urban WASH, Sanitation & Hygiene, WASH & Health, sector strengthening (sustainable services).

The role
This role will play a key part in the success of fundraising at The King’s Trust International, both through managing a small portfolio of both philanthropy and corporate donors and more broadly through supporting the fundraising of the wider team. This exciting and varied role will provide key stewardship, reporting and event support as needed to cultivate and progress our funding pipeline. About you

London Business School are looking for a well organised, creative and collaborative individual to join The Wheeler Institute for Business and Development, part of London Business School. As Outreach and Communications Manager you will be passionate about written communications, be a self-starter and enjoy the flexibility of working on a wide range of projects.
