Purpose of the role

Key Responsibilities
Content generation
· Draft compelling content for our different audiences across a broad suite of communications, particularly for our website, newsletters and materials.
Strategic delivery
- Support the Head of Communications and Membership and the Communications Lead to implement our Communications Strategy and Social Media Strategy.
- Design and deliver several communications plans for key global opportunities – for our latest insight/research/tools and for our participation at high-profile events.
- Take a strategic focus across communications outputs, identifying core audiences and the best messages and approaches to reach those audiences.
- Oversee funding communications, developing materials and digital communications to resonate with business, foundations and other funders.
Drive efficiency and continuous improvement
· Aptly project manage the delivery of our key moments, particularly for research and events, being exceptionally organised and working well with external suppliers and the wider team.
· Seamlessly coordinate the planning and evaluation of communications milestones, including our communications calendar.
· Maintain and improve core systems including our mailing lists and help to improve our website through regularly maintenance and updates.
· Support the development of processes to enhance how we plan communications opportunities and evaluate impact from across the team.
Using relationships for change
- Build relationships with our Members, partners and donors to share their story, make them feel valued and ensure they promote our initiatives.
- Support capacity building of the wider team in communications (e.g. providing feedback, templates and running training sessions).
- Work openly with colleagues, collaborating enthusiastically and asserting and influencing effectively for timely communications.
Visual identity
- Be a brand ambassador and champion, implement and support development of protocols and house style guidelines, ensuring high standards of accuracy and consistency across the team and our content.

You should have:
- Demonstrable experience or knowledge about the humanitarian and/or climate sector.
- Experience and knowledge about relevant technical sectors like Food Security & Livelihoods, Nutrition, WASH, Protection, Health, Climate or Disaster Risk Reduction
- Demonstrable knowledge of humanitarian programming, sustainability, climate resilience, and monitoring and evaluation processes, including using excel to capture and analyse data.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with overseas partners with varying levels of English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to produce high quality written work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Demonstrable financial and numeracy skills.
- Ability and flexibility to travel overseas when required
- Working knowledge of another language would be an advantage, especially French or Spanish

About the Role
As our Grants Partnerships Manager, you will play a key supportive role in the Grants Partnerships team and Marketing, Communications and Fundraising (MCF) department, contributing directly to the Institutional and Grants Partnerships team income target as well as supporting fundraisers across the department to access compelling information in support of their fundraising. In the sea, reforms to how our oceans are managed are essential to address overfishing, pollution, and loss of habitat. Pew began its oceans program in the United States, focusing on ending overfishing and protecting fragile marine habitat. Starting in 2005, Pew's ocean conservation program expanded around the world and played a significant role in reforming marine fisheries management in the European Union and on the high seas and creating large scale marine reserves around the world. Our work is grounded in the best available science and pursues domestic and international conservation measures that are long-term and provide permanent, durable protections for marine ecosystems. We also work to address systemic threats to the ocean, including from plastics, over-and-illegal fishing, seabed mining, and climate change.
International Fisheries
Pew's international fisheries work aims to protect marine biodiversity and provide food and livelihoods for a growing population by addressing in specific, targeted contexts one of the ocean's main threats-inadequate management and control of large-scale fishing activities. Organized into three projects, our main areas of work include: the advancement of precautionary harvest strategies and effective compliance regimes for international fisheries (RFMO Policy); improved policies and actions aimed at ending illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing (Ending Illegal Fishing); and the advancement of ecosystem considerations in the management of fisheries (Ecosystem Conservation).
Position Overview
The senior officer, Squid Governance, International Fisheries plays an important role in securing improved oversight of global squid fisheries by key governments and international bodies, including through collaboration with other Pew projects and external organizations working on related topics and in targeted regions. Reporting to the project director, the senior officer works alongside subject leads across the international fisheries portfolio, and collaborates with colleagues across the Ending Illegal Fishing, Ecosystem Conservation and RFMO Policy teams to identify opportunities and conduct efforts to improve the governance of unregulated and under-regulated squid fisheries
Located in Pew's London, UK office or Brussels, Belgium office, this position will participate in Pew's core in-office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and will have flexibility to work from home the remainder of each week , as business needs permit .
Responsibilities
- Foster a work environment that is diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible and in line with Pew and the project's related goals.
- Collaborate with the project director, Ecosystem Conservation, to lead the design and implementation of strategies to strengthen the governance of global squid fisheries working with key programmatic leads and relevant consultants to engage governments and institutions to build international support for governance improvements.
- Actively lead coordination and collaboration with Pew's other campaigns that work on marine conservation, resource management, and habitat protection to align strategies to engage relevant governments and regional bodies.
- Communicate with, and in some cases, manage consultants engaged by the campaign to advance its objectives.
- Forge and maintain relationships with important policymakers, conservation groups, expert bodies, and other constituencies to advance campaign objectives. Collaborate with other allies in the field to maximize the likelihood of achieving identified objectives.
- Serve as a spokesperson on relevant campaign issues within identified fora. This includes representing the Trusts at meetings, conferences, and/or on expert panels/groups, authoring articles and other communications, and providing interviews to outside sources.
- Develop policy and/or scientific papers, reports, and other communications materials on these topics, as needed. Review and provide comments on external policy proposals, regulations, and white papers, as needed.
- Represent Pew's environment campaigns in relevant international bodies and participate in activities that support program and Pew-wide objectives.
Requirements

About Link UP London and Social Impact Solutions
There has been exciting growth in Link UP London’s corporate programme, Social Impact Solutions, in the past year and, in 2024, we delivered bespoke skilled volunteering engagements for staff from Amazon UK, Boston Consulting Group, Smart DCC and King’s Cross/Related Argent. Social Impact Solutions is continuing to grow, and we are looking to bring someone in who can play an integral part of its delivery and development.
Link UP London works to build stronger communities. Since 2016 we have done this by connecting small Social Good Organisations or SGOs (i.e. charities, Community Interest Companies, community groups and social enterprises) with Skilled Volunteers, helping these organisations to address strategic and operational issues, build capacity and better tackle the multiple complex challenges facing their communities. Link UP connects these organisations to the abundance of talent that exists in and around our capital city.
Launched in early 2023 and building on our Skilled Volunteering model, Social Impact Solutions enables corporate skills-based employee volunteering. Each structured engagement provides corporate employees with direct ways to provide concrete support to community causes and drive social impact, while building leadership, wellbeing and job satisfaction that translates back into the workplace. A range of corporate group volunteering engagement options, fully facilitated by Link UP London, are offered from just a few hours to projects lasting several months. These include:
- Flash Consulting advice clinics (2-hours),
- Marathon Days (4-6 hours) and
- Our flagship Be the Change Programme (a multi-month engagement).
Our new Corporate Programme Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Link UP Social Impact Solutions corporate engagements are effective in their goal of delivering high quality, meaningful volunteer experience as well as valuable and relevant support to the charities that participate.

Role Details
Title: Corporate Programme Manager
Time Commitment: 3 days a week (with the possibility of increasing to 4 days within a year)
Format: Hybrid - remote and in-person (target 1-2 days in the London office in-person per week)
Purpose: To support the delivery and development of Link UP London’s Social Impact Solutions Corporate Skilled Volunteering programme, bringing our well-established Skilled Volunteer model to more companies in London.
Report: The Corporate Programme Manager will report to the Head of Corporate Partnerships and will work closely with the Skilled Volunteering team and Communications Manager to carry out full delivery of the programme.
Role Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinating and delivering our corporate engagements from start to finish including:
- Ensuring each Social Impact Solutions engagement and corporate event is delivered to a high quality
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of corporate volunteers
- Recruiting and onboarding charitable organisations, including outreach to both existing contacts and new cold leads
- Matching volunteers with charitable organisations based on needs and relevant skills
- Liaising with volunteers and charitable organisations prior to engagement to ensure clarity and attendance
- Leading each engagement alongside the Head of Corporate Partnerships and with support from Skilled Volunteering Officer
- Ensuring timely follow-up, feedback gathering and reporting, including writing a detailed Impact Report summarising the results of each engagement
Running these engagements the Corporate Programme Manager will be responsible for:
- Systems management of the Social Impact Solution engagement process including but not limited to sign up forms, CRM oversight, sign up emails, event communications, and feedback forms
- Ensuring systems work smoothly and innovate with technology to improve systems as needed
- Developing bespoke reports as needed
- Regularly contributing to programme improvement and development
General
- Contribute to organisational discussions around long-term strategy
- Contribute to organisational discussions around documenting, analysing, and communicating impact to corporate partners

We are seeking an experienced evidence (systematic) reviewer to support the development of clinical guidelines, guidance statements, national audit and new product reviews, as well as supporting the wider membership and Faculty officers in responding to evidence and research enquiries. The role:
1. Analytical and technical:
Responsible for developing a range of literature reviews (scoping, umbrella, and systematic reviews) for clinical guidelines and guidance in accordance with FSRH processes and established evidence synthesis methodologies. This includes:
- Contributing to the development of scopes,
- Developing review questions and protocols,
- Systematic searching and identification of relevant evidence,
- Full quality assessment of evidence including application of GRADE framework
- Synthesising, collating and summarising quantitative and qualitative evidence

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational plans that align with the charity’s strategic objectives.
- Lead on talent attraction and retention, ensuring equality of opportunity, diversity, and representation, while fostering a culture that supports talent retention and enhances performance.
- Establish an effective learning programme for West Kent Mind, reviewing and organising relevant training, mentoring, coaching and skills development for our staff, trustees and volunteers.

About Us
We are a small, dedicated local charity committed to supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Our mission is to provide free and inclusive, counselling, support services and outreach to empower female survivors’ recovery from the trauma of childhood sexual abuse.
We are based in Leicester, and this role will require the post holder to be primarily office based. (There is some flexibility to work from home occasionally). The schedule for this role is flexible and can be agreed to fit with existing commitments.
Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our charity's day-to-day operations. This role is integral to maintaining the flow of our work, enabling the team to deliver on our mission of supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
In a small charity, flexibility is key—no two days are ever the same. You will find yourself involved in a diverse range of tasks, from streamlining processes and managing resources to coordinating team activities and tackling unforeseen challenges. This variety demands a proactive approach and a problem-solving mindset, as you will often need to think creatively to overcome obstacles and find effective solutions.
A key strategic aim for 2025 is to diversify our income, working closely with the CEO, you will develop and implement innovative alternative income generation programmes to help support the future of the organisation, therefore project management experience would be an advantage. This role is funded for 12 months by a grant with specific outcome targets, so you’ll need to be able to hit the ground running and learn quickly, but don’t worry you’ll be fully supported.

Our Speak Out team in Cambridgeshire work with people who have a learning disability and autistic people to help give them a say about the things that are important to them.
As a team you will then talk to professionals and organisations to help them understand what issues people are facing and how they can make things better.
You would do this by
· Attending meetings, in person or online, with the Learning Disability Partnership Board and other groups or organisations
· Talking with people who use different services in Cambridgeshire
· Working with the team to create reports about what you have found
About you
