About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in Chelsea Academy. Our schools are shown on a map on our website.
The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of the programme is optimised.
Role responsibilities
· Work directly with students in a professional and safe manner
· Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
· Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications
· Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided)
· Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme
· Chair and present at termly school meetings with Senior Management to report on programme progress.
· University Access Officers support the volunteering team by helping to deliver tutor training sessions, and attending university site visits, which take place on occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings (paid time off is provided).

Training and Development
You will be provided with regular monthly training so that you can develop your skills and succeed in the role. There is support and supervision from your line manager (Programme Manager), as well as guidance from a Senior University Access Officer and the wider University Access Officer team across The Access Project. There are opportunities for progression, including several additional responsibility roles which are available for UAOs to apply for once they have completed their probationary period successfully.

The role and your key responsibilities
As Employer Partnerships Manager, your role is to grow our employer partner numbers and support our existing employer partners to get the most out of their partnership with us. A fundamental element of our work with employers is to make sure they’re adding genuine value to our student, teacher and parent community.

Personal Specification
We’re looking for a proactive and dynamic person with skills in sales, marketing, operational & project management, communication and people management. This is an autonomous and largely self-managing role but will have support and supervision from the Chief Executive, and we will need to see proven experience of managing projects on your own initiative.
You’ll be well-organised, confident working solo, and have a style that blends the best of our voluntary-sector roots and our corporate client base. Professional business English – written and spoken – is a pre-requisite. Previous experience in business development or income generation is highly desirable. Experience in the not-for-profit sector and/or with organising events and/or corporate volunteering services would be a distinct advantage.
You should be passionate about volunteering and the impact that volunteers have on their communities and the wider world. This role will be part of a close-knit team at Volunteer Centre Camden that supports each other to meet the wider objectives of the charity to promote and facilitate volunteering in all of its forms.
You should have a high degree of software literacy, including email, MS Word and Excel; familiarity with MailChimp email marketing software is a plus. We already have relationships with businesses to build on as well as many other new businesses to work with. Role Details
Office Location:

Job Type:
This is a flexible home-based role where you will manage your workload, 22.5hrs per week (with possibility for more during busy times), between 3-5 days. Travel will be needed to meet clients, community organisations and to manage our materials and equipment. We have a weekly team meeting online. Based on Team UP’s income generating performance, we are keen for this role to expand to Full-time or add an additional part-time role.

Salary:
Full time equivalent (FTE) pay is £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) per year pro rata (including Inner London Weighting) and this based on a 37.5hrs working week. Therefore pro rata pay would be £21,000 - £24,000 for 22.5hrs/3 days part-time.

JourneymanUK is a small but mighty charity. Job Purpose
As the Growth & Connection Coordinator you will lead the coordination of our flagship weekend event, a contemporary Rites of Passage Adventure (ROPA) for teenage boys. You will also support our local groups in delivering mentoring circles, day intensives and activity sessions. This role includes administrative, communication, and outreach responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and effective engagement with young people, parents and carers, mentors, youth services, and other stakeholders.
One of our biggest challenges is recruiting teenage boys to our programmes. While we don’t expect all candidates to have experience in recruiting young people to youth programmes, we do expect you to feel confident and proactive about tackling this challenge.

Working closely and with and reporting directly to our CEO, your responsibilities will be to:

About the role:
The Homicide Service provide exceptional support to people affected by murder and manslaughter. We work closely with Major Crime Teams within police forces across England and Wales. The Homicide Service CYP team integrates fluidly with the Homicide Service Family and Peer Support teams to provide cohesive and effective advocacy and support service to eligible service users across England and Wales. We also support families of British Nationals murdered abroad and so work closely with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office who refer into the Homicide Service.
You will lead a team of Team Leaders and CYP Caseworkers who deliver support in schools, community settings and homes. We offer a range of interventions to CYP including one to one support (digitally and in person); Peer Support and outreach within the community.
This role will develop the CYP service, constantly striving for the best outcomes for children and young people and so you will be driven to make a difference every day. You will demonstrate resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; possess the excellent organisational skills required to manage a diverse workload with often competing priorities. An ability to work as part of a team, as well as managing your own diary/work priorities is a must.
As an Operations Manager you will need:
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practice and legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments

As the Volunteering Officer (Employability) for Imperial Health Charity, you will work in partnership with our NHS Trust to utilise opportunities through Volunteering to enhance the employability prospects of people living in the local community.

The programme aims to inspire people to gain a sense of community ownership of local blue spaces through training and support to become empowered, self-organising volunteer groups.
The successful applicant will be joining the team at an exciting time of programme development, as we look to increase learning and advocacy for environmental stewardship and sustainability. You will have experience of volunteering or volunteer coordination, working with communities and a wide variety of partner organisations, and hold a good knowledge of ecological challenges, ideally in the water and marine environment.
You will be an effective communicator, organised and able to manage your own time. You will be knowledgeable in matters of volunteer health and safety, data protection and safeguarding, with strong skills in using IT to support with the administration required for successful programme delivery.
You will be working as part of a regional and national team. Some travel within the region will be required, as will occasional weekend and evening work.

The successful Training Manager will head our “Rise for Change” training programme and have the exciting opportunity to continue to grow the programme’s success to date, expanding our offerings and reach to be fully integrated across the charities service provisions.
Rise for Change is training that is uniquely created by subject matter experts and directly addresses the need for intersectional and trauma informed domestic abuse training for professionals in all sectors. Our aim is to empower participants, no matter their professional role, to be able to respond safely and appropriately to domestic abuse both within the workplace and in the wider scope of their lives. You will be leading a linked programme of activity with our global Bright Sky programme which forms part of our wider Digital Programmes team. As the only global resource of its kind, Bright Sky is leading the way in technological responses to domestic abuse.
Role

Lead the development, quality and delivery of Hope After Harm’s training programme in line with the charity’s values, strategic direction, placing victim-survivors and those with lived experienced at the heart of what you do.
Deliver training and consultancy to professionals, organisations and businesses from our set package of training, or by curating and delivering bespoke packages to meet their needs.
Upkeep current training packages, whilst scoping and developing new packages in line with sector need and organisational strategy.
Ensure growth and sustainability of the programme through income generation, attracting new clients and driving repeat custom, directly managing client relationships.
Ensure the longevity of established relationships with key partners and stakeholders through regular meetings, problem-solving and support.
Uphold programme quality through metrics and appropriate reporting on outcomes, using feedback to refine and improve training offers
With support of the Director, leverage technology to enhance training accessibility, including e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
With support of the Director, recruit, train and oversee a pool of sessional trainers, ensuring quality of their delivery in line with programme standards
Maintain our CPD accreditation on current and new training packages.
Respect and uphold the value and necessity of intersectionality within domestic abuse and sexual violence prevention and safeguarding, across all areas of work.
Maintain accurate recording and reporting of training/project delivery, including a training delivery calendar, CRM and all administrative processes and wrap around support.
Collaborate effectively with teams from across Hope After Harm to ensure that our training approach and packages are underpinned by the expertise and input available from across the charity.
Person Specification
Essential
A thorough understanding of domestic abuse and gender-based violence through a trauma informed and intersectional lens, including the impact and mitigation of vicarious trauma.
Be an experienced, highly skilled trainer with the ability to engage people through remote and in-person delivery.
Experience in managing training programmes, and with an absolute commitment to quality and client satisfaction
Ability to recruit, train and oversee a pool of sessional trainers.
Excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.
Motivate individuals and agencies to move through courses of action and decision-making processes
Knowledge and experience of using CRM’s, such as Hubspot, to track client engagement.
Track record of income generation - creating growth strategies for training programmes, in particular using social media and online sales platforms
Ability to plan and prioritise work effectively and manage projects and multiple deadlines
Skilled user of technology with high literacy of key presenting programmes, video platforms and databases.
Ability to travel for stakeholder meetings and team/organisation away days and deliver training when required (most meetings and contracts are remote)
Be comfortable operating a remote working environment with ability to network internally and externally
Have the flexibility to undertake tasks beyond the job description

Bring an understanding and experience of CPD accreditation
Hold a “Train the Trainer” qualification or be willing to obtain one during onboarding.
