The Nuffield Family Justice Observatory is recruiting to the new role of Operations Administrator, which supports the effective operations of the organisation to ensure it can deliver programmes and projects which create impact for children and families.
The Nuffield Family Justice Observatory (NFJO) is an organisation that seeks to improve the lives of children and families by using data and research to hold up a mirror to children’s and families’ experiences of family court and their circumstances pre- and post- court proceedings.
Acknowledged as a trusted source of information about the family justice system, we have worked closely with judges, lawyers, social workers, families and policy makers to improve practice for children and families, convening discussion between different professional groups and supporting new innovations.
The focus of our work is set out in an ambitious strategy and its progress is recorded in our 5 year impact report.
The Operations Administrator will support the NFJO in the management of processes relating to finance, human resources, events and information administration, working closely with the Executive Coordinator.
The role will build strong relationships with the Nuffield Foundation’s HR, Finance and IT functions to help ensure shared processes are administered. Additionally, the Operations Administrator will work closely with staff across the NFJO, making sure it is a collaborative and supportive place to work.
You will have experience of previously working in administrative roles, and have knowledge of office systems and processes. You will enjoy working with teams and be comfortable of working with a range of people across multiple workstreams. You will have excellent organisational and planning skills, be comfortable juggling different tasks and be a confident communicator.
Above all you will be someone who is proactive, willing to 'muck in' when needed and be able to work in a collaborative and inclusive style.

Westway Trust is a community-guided organisation located in North Kensington which runs an adult learning programme of accredited and non-accredited provision across a range of subjects. The Research Director will be responsible for overseeing research quality, outputs and methods across the Group. Working across our practices, the Research Director will design methodologies for Targeted Research and Action Projects, support complex research partnerships and quality assurance. Working closely with the Head of Research Funding, the Trusts & Foundations Lead will identify new opportunities for funding and manage Trust and Foundation applications end-to-end. This varied role will include managing a pipeline of opportunities, researching and liaising with healthcare professionals such as clinicians, researchers, and other key stakeholders to develop compelling requests for support and funding.
The role holder will be a confident self-starter with demonstrable evidence of raising funds from corporates, grant making trusts and foundations, company foundations, public sector funders and lottery bodies. A key aspect of the role will be establishing and maintaining positive relationships with smaller funders (£10k-£100k), ensuring all obligations under grant agreements, such as updates and reporting, are fulfilled in an engaging and timely manner.

Job Description

About the role
This role helps expand the breadth and reach of our service offer for people with secondary breast cancer. Job Summary
The purpose of the Area Giving and Finance Adviser role is to provide comprehensive finance support to churches within the Stepney Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Financial support
