We are seeking a Senior EDI specialist to champion the EDI strategy both internally and externally, working with a professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK.

The Role:

As Senior EDI Lead you will champion the EDI strategy both internally and externally through onward strategy development and stakeholder engagement, promoting the EDI principles through the services of our membership offering, providing support to members and management teams and reporting on progress through key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the EDI panel and executive team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy.
• Foster relationships with external stakeholders to promote EDI initiatives and ensure inclusivity.
• Lead and inspire the internal team to integrate EDI principles into culture and operations.
• Develop and deliver EDI training programs for enhanced awareness and understanding.
• Establish and report on KPIs to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
• Regularly report EDI strategy progress to stakeholders through various formats.
• Oversee annual impact assessments and communicate progress against KPIs to relevant stakeholders.
• Deliver specific EDI project initiatives as set out in the EDI roadmap.

The role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Income Generation to join our senior leadership team. This new and pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing robust income generation strategies to diversify and grow our funding and trading streams. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising or sales, building strategic partnerships, and driving innovation in income generation. As a key player in our organisation, you will lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively to ensure the sustainability and expansion of our vital programmes.

Key responsibilities

Income Generation Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive income generation strategy that aligns with the charity’s mission and goals;

• Identify and explore new income streams, including fundraising, partnerships, and product development.

Fundraising:

• Oversee all fundraising activities, including trusts and foundations and individual giving;

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, funders, and sponsors;

• Develop compelling fundraising campaigns, events and initiatives to attract new supporters;

• Oversee bids and pitches;

• Act as an ambassador for the charity, championing its interests locally and nationally with stakeholders and potential supporters.

Business Development and Partnerships:

• Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with businesses, foundations, and other organisations;

• Develop new business and partnership engagement communications - a suite of tools and collateral;

• Negotiate partnership agreements and manage ongoing relationships to maximise mutual benefits;

• Oversee the creation of compelling campaigns and content, and the charity’s digital presence including website, SEO and social media.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing income generation team including four direct reports (Senior Fundraising Manager, Head of New Business Partnerships, Head of Partnership Experience, Head of School Partnerships);

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team;

• Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional development;

• Collaborate with the wider Leadership Team on Future Frontiers’ strategy and plan for growth;

• Play a key role in the development and delivery of charity-wide culture initiatives and the EDI strategy.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage the income generation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources;

• Monitor and report on income generation performance, providing regular updates to the CEO and Board of Trustees;

• Oversee production of annual report and fundraising matters for the annual accounts and audit;

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in fundraising management.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of trends, opportunities, and challenges in the fundraising, education and social mobility sectors;

We are seeking a Special Events Lead to join our forward-thinking Special Events team who as part of P&P, create, manage and deliver an impactful and effective events programme consisting of more than 10 exclusive events per year. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager working in a busy, high-pressure environment, working on multiple events at different stages of planning.

As a member of the Special Events fundraising team, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing and delivering a portfolio of high value committee and corporate led special events. Main purpose of the role:

As Team Leader you will line manage a team of adult social care Support Workers who support adults with learning disabilities, in a supported Living house.

The Team Leader supports the Registered Care Manager in creating and promoting community and a sense of home, leading the service delivery in line with L’Arche values, traditions and standards, and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC]. 

As our Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth and safe running of one of our supported living houses. This will include managing and creating the monthly rotas, updating and managing digital care plans and risk assessments, supporting and supervising assistants (including inducting new team members).  Also, overseeing reporting such as medication records, health and safety, and quality assurance checks, implementing the planning and undertaking of meaningful activity, taking part in support reviews, ensuring training is relevant and up to date, and working as part of the senior leadership team to maintain a high quality of care.

Essential Criteria

• Experience of leadership in adult social care in a supported living or care home setting;
• A record of accomplishment of effectively leading and managing team performance, such as providing clear objectives, reviewing outcomes, putting in place develpment plans, and taking appropriate action to deal with poor performance;
• Ability to guide, support and teach the essential skills of supporting people with disabilities;
• Supportive of the identity, mission and values of L'Arche and enthusiastic about working within a community organisation rated Outstanding by the CQC;

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will deliver effective strategies for regular giving through developing the Art Partners programme – leading all aspects including recruitment, stewardship and strategy for growth, and fundraising appeals and campaigns. You will working closely with the Head of Individual Giving to cultivate individual donors to secure gifts towards Art Fund’s charitable programme.

Key responsibilities will include;

We are looking for someone who will push forward with our new strategy and to continue to grow and manage our peer- to-peer support service by recruiting volunteers and running an organised and effective volunteer led service.

The ideal candidate will continue to develop our bereavement service and make it as impactful as possible by raising the profile of the service, establishing networks with other charities, growing the microsite and engaging with our bereaved community in a supportive and professional manner.

Location: Hybrid/remote. Office space in London Bridge and Woking, although entirely remote option is fine.

About SCEC

SCEC was founded over twenty years ago to provide learning enrichment opportunities to primary school children in disadvantaged communities in south London. Together with our partners, several leading independent schools, we currently operate four schemes in math, literacy, science and art. Children learn through fun, engaging group activities like science experiments, storytelling and mathematical treasure hunts, all taught by qualified teachers with added support from student mentors. Through the schemes, children explore their curiosity, build knowledge and develop their confidence as learners.

Your Role

The Scheme Director is a newly created role that will be pivotal in helping SCEC extend its reach. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will help SCEC design and implement an expansion programme as well as coordinating the delivery of the existing schemes via our school partners. You will also serve as a trusted partner to the Board in the administration of the charity.

Similar to a COO, this role straddles the operational and the strategic. We are looking for a confident communicator and relationship builder who can work across varied stakeholder groups.  You should be able to grasp the big picture and have an eye for the details needed to deliver successful outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join SCEC on a transformational journey working with excellent learning partners and established leaders to improve educational outcomes for children.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Communication and Marketing Manager to join our dynamic social mobility charity which exists to remove the barriers that prevent children and young people having meaningful access to the natural world.  Through a week on one of our three heritage farms, Nethercott House in Devon, Lower Treginnis in Pembrokeshire, and Wick Court in Gloucestershire, children and young people experience increased learning and engagement, improved connections and wellbeing, and leave us with an enhanced sense of environmental citizenship.  Visiting children are immersed in the natural world of countryside through a food and farming offer that allows them to participate in the seasonal tasks of the day: sowing, growing and harvesting in our kitchen gardens; caring for livestock and looking after the land; and cooking up a home-grown feast in the farmhouse kitchen. In partnership with our commercial farming neighbours, children experience the benefits of collaboration, enjoy plenty of physical activity, good food, and fresh air, and discover the magical rural environment that is full of new words, sounds and experiences to inspire their creativity. About the Role

This role will be responsible for developing the vision and direction of the Communication and Marketing Strategy but will fundamentally be an operational management delivery role. Responsible for developing and rolling out a multi‐channel communication and marketing strategy that will:

• raise the profile of the charity by communicating news about projects, programmes, and partnerships on social channels, on online and print media outlets, TV networks,
• deliver communications to generate sales to secure a pipeline of farm residential visit bookings from beneficiary groups (being children from schools in disadvantaged communities, youth groups, young carers, children in care, etc) across England and Wales.
• secure income from fundraising by communicating the charity’s mission, vision, and values to donors, funders, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners.

The successful applicant will have considerable experience of developing and delivering a communication and marketing strategy as well as experience of designing and delivering multi-channel sales and marketing campaigns. Excellent people skills are key, as you will need to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Raising the profile of the Charity by devising and implementing a beneficiary‐focused communications strategy that supports both the sales and fundraising function, including print, social, and online communications that target teachers and other adults who are key decision makers for our beneficiaries.
• Developing and embedding an integrated communications and marketing strategy to deliver the ambitions of the Business plan, to reach new markets and successfully translate connections into bookings (‘sales’) or generate income from funders to support fundraising.
• Leading on the management and development of all channels of communication for the Charity: social media, website, YouTube channel, print media.

This position is home based but you will be required to travel to our farms and Head Office based in Exeter as required in order to fulfil the role.

Location:  The post will be based primarily at St. George’s Hospital London. However, all Redthread team members must be flexible about supporting other sites when needed. Regular visits to Redthread’s main offices and other projects and activities at various locations across London, the Midlands, and the UK will be required.

Ygam is seeking an Insight and Innovation Officer to join our Insight and Innovation team. The post holder will work with the Head of Insight and Innovation, supporting with research, knowledge translation, evaluations and insights into children and young people’s experiences of gaming and gambling harms.

Our Insight & Innovation team aids the design and delivery of Ygam’s strategy by supporting evidence-based decision making. By working across the charity to leverage and disseminate internal and external insight, the team enables intelligent decision-making and strengthens the organisation’s understanding of the world in which it operates.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Research, insight and knowledge translation:

· Support the commissioning and managing of research activities and collaborations.

· Develop longitudinal research to understand programme impact on our beneficiaries.

· Keep abreast of current and future developments in gaming and gambling harm prevention, critically appraising these and summarising them as part of our knowledge translation function.

· Liaise with the External Affairs team to support the creation of accessible learning pieces for knowledge translation across the organisation and with internal and external stakeholders.

· Lead on writing articles and reports to disseminate learnings from Ygam’s data collection activities.

· Support the fundraising team with identifying and applying for new funding and grant opportunities directly associated with research and insight work.

· Liaise with IT team to support development of our Research and Insight intranet section.

· Support programme evaluations, including support with writing invitations to tender, liaising with Programme Leads and writing up/ dissemination of findings.

· Support programme leads with cycles of continuous improvement.

· Support the programmes team with piloting content and identifying and piloting new technologies.

Engagement and relationships:

· Assist with planning and organising advisory panels and communities of practice meetings and events.

· Support with gap analysis and implementation planning.

· Liaise with IT team to develop and maintain an online community of practice.

 Conferences, events and raising brand reputation:

· Attend and support events, trade shows and conferences.

· Identify and apply to key events and conferences where Ygam can present evidence-based research and evaluations, raising brand reputation. This will include developing and delivering presentations on our research and insight activities for varied audiences.

General administration:

· Maintain online documentation/ Ygam SharePoint.

You will engage with a range of stakeholders across different sectors and you will work with young people as co-designers and participants to ensure their voices are at the centre of all our Network Development work. Your role will also include support for the development and delivery of the Joined Up Summit event in Autumn 2024.

We are looking for candidates with an understanding of and empathy for the current issues facing the youth sector, significant expertise in facilitation and training, and experience in youth participation and cross-sector relationship building. The successful candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people and be proactive, inclusive, inspiring and an excellent communicator. Experience in event planning and logistics is desirable, but not essential.
