The Role
The Marketing and Communications Manager role at SEO London presents an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to work in a dynamic environment. This position requires a hands-on approach and allows the individual to apply their full range of marketing and communications skills. The primary responsibility is to lead and execute SEO London’s marketing and communications strategy,
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Strategy Development and Execution
· Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the organisation’s mission, vision, and objectives.
· Conduct market research to understand target audiences and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Further develop our plan for B2B marketing.
Business-to-business marketing
· Execute a B2B marketing strategy aligned with SEO London’s goals and objectives.
· Create and manage multi-channel campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and PR, to boost SEO London’s visibility amongst existing and potential corporate sponsor firms.
· Produce sponsor-focused content, including success stories, industry insights and data-driven reports, to demonstrate ROI and the value of partnership with SEO London.
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, sponsors and relevant individuals within existing and potential sponsor firms.
Brand Management and PR
· Maintain and strengthen the organisation’s brand image across all communication channels.
· Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across campaigns, events and SEO London’s online presence.
· Collaborate with sponsor firms and other external partners to promote SEO London content in the media.
· Work with the Impact Team to develop and promote testimonials and highlight SEO London’s annual impact metrics.
Content Creation and Management
· Oversee content creation, including press releases, newsletters, social media posts and website updates.
· Collect and promote engaging stories and testimonials that highlight the organisation’s impact and promote its mission.
Digital Marketing and Social Media
· Review and further SEO London’s social media plan and engagement tactics.
· Manage and grow the organisation's social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
· Possess a deep understanding of social media, along with a high level of creativity and expertise, to make the organisation’s social media platforms stand out.
· Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media ads and SEO strategies.

· Collaborate with the Outreach Manager to align outreach and marketing efforts, ensuring programme needs and KPIs are met.
· Analyse campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimise engagement and lead generation.
Internal communications
· Support the development of strong and consistent internal communications, working in the first instance with an internal project team.
Monitoring and evaluation
· Oversee quality control of all outputs.
· Use data to understand and improve the performance of the organisation’s communications efforts.
Analytics and Reporting
· Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communications efforts, using metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Join Operation Smile UK as our Senior Acquisition Manager and make a difference in the lives of children. We're searching for a fundraising professional with experience in acquiring new donors through a variety of fundraising channels including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops. You'll be responsible for managing a £2.4 million budget and developing innovative strategies to increase individual cash and regular giving support. This role is not responsible for the supervision or direction of staff.
Operation Smile is a global nonprofit specialising in cleft surgery and care. We provide medical training, education and mentorship to surgical teams around the world, along with expertise, research and care through our staff and volunteers, working alongside local governments, nonprofits and health systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive recruitment of regular givers and cash givers to grow income and supporter volumes, in a multi-channel programme including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising channels, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops.
- Manage relationships with agency partners executing acquisition campaigns on behalf of Operation Smile UK for the betterment of the acquisition programme.
- Lead and execute our door-to-door (F2F) programme with the goal of expanding this form of acquisition fundraising over the coming years.
- Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of OSUK's digital acquisition fundraising program, including the performance of current agencies and consultants. Develop strategic recommendations and a future-focused plan that leverages the expertise of existing or new external partners.
- Full campaign management and execution in line with prescribed deadlines. This includes briefing agencies, sourcing content, managing data, copy development, proofing, briefing stakeholders, training agents, developing campaign analysis and reporting, managing costs and invoice processing.
- Monitor and report on budgets and assist in building future expenditure and income targets. Work as part of the Individual Giving team to reach strategic targets.
- Work closely with the Communications & Digital team, and Individual Giving team to ensure campaigns are in line with brand standards and integrated seamlessly with supporter retention.
- Work closely with the Individual Giving team to constantly refine the newly introduced ‘welcome programme’ aimed at transitioning new donors to retained donors and improving retention rate.

- To ensure that campaigns are where possible integrated or co-ordinated thematically, creatively and/or by target audience to maximise impact.

About the role
This role is available at an important time for The Access Project as we expand our mission, deliver a new programme model, and move into new school contexts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the skills for programme design and improvement, a strong interest in research, and a deep passion for our mission to support students to place and succeed at selective universities.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is comfortable working across teams to make change. You’ll be the lead and expert on The Access Project’s in-school university readiness work with responsibility for designing and quality assuring the provision, supporting the learning and development of our front-line staff to effectively deliver the programme content. This position is integral to ensuring The Access Project is delivering a high-quality programme that supports the needs of our students and drives the outcomes of the programme across all regions and schools. The postholder will bring their knowledge of the HE sector and the experiences of our students to decisions about the direction of our own programme. They will also support further development of our programme-level Diversity and Inclusion work, to ensure that the programme is tailored where feasible to the needs of all students.
Role responsibilities
Design & Development
- Project manage and deliver our programme design process, leading the implementation of an agile, in-year approach to effectively iterate The Access Project’s Accelerate (2-year) programme.
- Lead the development of our self-paced online learning provision, incorporating learning from delivery and best practice from the sector.
- Work with the Head of Programme Development and Quality to incorporate University Access Officer, Programme Leadership, school, and student feedback on how to best drive short-term and long-term outcomes across our programmes.
- Project manage the implementation of changes driven out of programme design. This includes the creation of or changes to delivery resources and training materials, as well as our university readiness framework and the Salesforce system that supports delivery.
- Ensure we continue to update our long-standing Gateway (4-year) programme as part of standalone programme design project.
Research to inform programme design and quality
- Remain critically engaged with the widening participation/social mobility sector, and able to synthesise key changes/challenges and ensure that they are applicable/actionable by the organisation.
- Ensure that any relevant Widening Participate sector developments and trends are fed into The Access Project’s way of working. For example, this might be changes to resources for the programme or working with colleagues to communicate with students (e.g. plans for A Level Results Day).
- Provide nuanced insight about the WP/HE sector, with a coherent view of the landscape and how it’s changing, to enable The Access Project to make informed choices about our programme.
Quality Assurance
- Be responsible for the implementation of the university readiness strand of the quality assurance strategy, to drive the quality of the activities The Access Project delivers to young people in schools.
- Lead on the quality assurance of self-paced learning content, collaborating with Online Delivery colleagues to identify best practice and develop a comprehensive approach.
- Participate in The Access Project’s quality assurance processes, including performing drop-ins on University Access Officers, and coordinating with other members of the team to perform drop-ins in an efficient and effective manner.

Summary of the role:
As the Trust and Foundation Coordinator, you will support the International Programmes Department (IPD) by:
- Programme Development: Enhancing institutional funding to raise essential funds for Muslim Aid’s international humanitarian and development programmes through Trusts, Foundations, and Partner Offices.
- Quality Assurance: Assisting the MEAL Manager in developing and implementing effective MEAL systems to ensure quality service delivery across all programmes.

- Support the Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance Manager in managing a portfolio of institutional donor grants relationships and implement donor engagement strategies for prioritised donors (including FCDO, UN agencies, USAID, SIDA, START Network, etc.).

This is a fixed-term maternity cover position until January 2026.
Please note this role is London based with requirements to travel to our London office approximately 2-3 days per week, travel to events will also be required.

The Senior Youth and Play Worker will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families team, working as the senior practitioner and ensuring the smooth running of all our programmes and services. In this role you will be part of a small and dynamic team which delivers a wide range of programmes and activities, both from our adventure playground and within local schools.
The work of the Children, Young People and Families team is diverse, and current services include open access free play and youth activities at our adventure playground, school holiday programmes with trips and activities outside of the playground, coaching in local schools, our Young Leaders programme offering paid work experience to young people and working with our youth partnerships Building Young Brixton and Lambeth Peer Action Collective. You will ensure these services are appropriately scheduled, monitored and reported on whilst working with the Head of Children, Young People and Families to plan and deliver service improvement. You will understand the wide-ranging challenges facing young people and will be flexible in adjusting your practice to meet these needs.
To be successful in this role, you will act as the senior practitioner in all our service delivery, advocating for children’s right to play throughout our programmes. You will lead on the delivery and planning of all sessions, ensuring that the children and young people’s ideas are central in the construction of a varied and engaging play environment. You will also monitor and evaluate activities in line with the Play Work Principles and requirements from our funders.

About this role
This is an exciting role that will lead the successful growth and delivery of the Smart Works events and community fundraising programme. Managing the Events Manager, Community Fundraising Manager and Retail Relationship Manager, you will work closely with the Partnerships Team to deliver exceptional events, raise vital funds and secure stock for clients and fundraising.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust Events and Community Fundraising strategy, to generate £800k+ of in-year income, and bolster future financial and community engagement opportunities. The candidate will also work closely with the Head of Wardrobe, growing partnerships with retail brands which support Smart Works’ activities.
We seek an excellent events manager, with experience in delivering end-to-end events, as well as demonstrable experience of fundraising through challenge events and regional community fundraising. An ability to juggle conflicting priorities and exceed set targets will be key.
