Key Responsibilities
Support and Equip Church Partners
- Work with the wider Church Partnerships Team to meet key strategic goals to build social transformation across the church in the UK
- Manage working relationships with a caseload of partner churches to ensure programme delivery flourishes, that the church has ongoing support and feels connected to Resurgo, and has a vision for and feels ownership of the Spear programme in their community
- Liaise with church partners regarding any challenges they’re facing, providing strategic support and connecting them to the wider Resurgo team for further assistance around key challenges
Line Management, Team Training and Development of Spear Centre staff
- Support with the recruitment and induction of new Spear coaches, and manage Spear Centre Managers through regular 1-1s and helping them troubleshoot challenges
- Performance management of the Spear centres run in partnership with your caseload of churches through regular reviews, informal and structured feedback, session observations and reporting on KPIs
- Work with the Impact team to identify training needs, then design and run training initiatives to meet these needs, including all-team training days, role-specific training streams, and volunteer training
Active Participation in the Philanthropy and Wider Resurgo Mission

About Sebby’s Corner
Sebby's Corner is based in Barnet, EN5 and our aim is to ensure that no child goes without the basic essentials they need to thrive. We supply items such as clothing, nappies, formula and baby equipment to local families living in poverty. Families in need get referred to us by social workers, health visitors, family support workers, midwives and other professionals. We work with almost 800 different referral partners across 400 different organisations.
We also offer school uniform support and we have a Birthday Club that ensures that a child who would otherwise go without has a gift, cake, balloons and decorations to celebrate their special day. At Christmas, we host a Grotto where parents can come and choose a gift for their child at no cost. We have a new partnership with Citizen’s Advice Barnet that allows families to book an appointment with an advisor at our hub.
In addition to our baby bank services, we work to engage and inspire the community through fundraising, volunteering opportunities, and outreach programmes. At Sebby’s Corner, we believe that a connected community can make a lasting impact, and this role is pivotal to achieving that. Key Tasks and Accountabilities
Volunteer Management
- Oversee the day-to-day management of volunteers, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and their time is used productively.
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract new volunteers and new hub leaders including targeted campaigns and partnerships with local schools and community organisations.
- Create and maintain a volunteer database, tracking availability, skills, and engagement.
- Deliver volunteer induction sessions and ongoing training as needed.

Community Outreach
- Represent Sebby’s Corner by speaking at schools, community groups, and local businesses to promote our mission and encourage support.

What we can offer
Salary and pension
The salary for this role is £28,500 annum FTE (this will be pro-rated to reflect your working hours if you work less than 35 hours per week and is subject to normal deductions). If eligible to join the pension, we will match your contributions by 5%.
Annual leave
You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (these will be pro-rated to reflect your working hours if you work less than 35 hours per week). We usually give the team time off between Christmas and New Year that doesn’t come off your allowance.

The Role
We are recruiting for a Community Fundraising Manager to join our Fundraising team. The role will be instrumental in the Foundation’s engagement with different communities and building fundraising partnerships across a range of community audiences, including youth and education, sports clubs, community groups and individuals doing their own activities. You will be responsible for growing our existing community products such as Turn Cricket Red as well as introducing new products and initiatives to generate growth in Community Fundraising. Part of a small team, you will develop key relationships within the RSF network of supporters, suppliers and delivery partners and manage a portfolio of events and activities for a range of supporter groups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the Foundations community fundraising strategy and community fundraising activities and campaigns
- Develop and implement a varied portfolio of events and community fundraising activities to meet agreed objectives, all of which reflect the spirit of the Ruth Strauss Foundation
- Ensure, with the wider Fundraising team, we meaningfully engage different communities with RSF

- Plan, budget, attend and coordinate an annual community fundraising and events calendar with set objectives, budgets and KPIs for each activity
- Regularly review the performance of fundraising activities/events and products, make recommendations for improvement, and support decision-making regarding fit of new opportunities for the foundation
- Project Manage the delivery of the community fundraising programme at RSF, leading on activity working group meetings, coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure campaigns, activities and events are managed efficiently
- Work closely with the schools lead and school manager to grow our schools fundraising programme – working collaboratively so the training programme objectives are also met
- Develop a long-term growth strategy for Turn Cricket Red – focused on maximising current opportunities as well as diversifying to increase our reach
- Deliver high value supporter stewardship to increase lifetime value and impact of their fundraising
- Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders and seniority, ensuring opportunities for growth are maximised
- Alongside the team, co-ordinate event/activity logistics including but not limited to sales, bookings and liaison with supporters and suppliers, material production, promotion, set up, and delivery
- Oversee relationship with key providers of event fundraising mechanisms such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text to donate services
- Work with colleagues to ensure all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and hosts, and that all stakeholders receive appropriate training/ briefing and post event debriefs
- Work with the Head of MarComms and Digital to produce engaging fundraising collateral and information for event and community supporters including pre and post event communications/marketing collateral, working with external production companies where required
- Ensure all events and activities are compliant with fundraising code of conduct, GDPR and other event processes/policies
- Oversee the use of the CRM system to ensure data is recorded in compliance to Data Protection and GDPR and maximises output for supporter journeys
- Use sector trends and audience analysis to direct strategy and ensure that RSF remains innovative and at the forefront of Community fundraising

About the Ruth Strauss Foundation
In early 2018, Ruth Strauss, the wife of Sir Andrew Strauss the former England cricket captain, was diagnosed with an incurable lung cancer that affects non-smokers. Ruth died on December 29th 2018; she was 46 years old and mother to two children, then aged 10 and 13.

Summary
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the decarbonisation of the built environment and has experience in leading and delivering built environment decarbonisation projects/programmes, ideally within a heritage context. Reporting to the NZC Programme Manager, and working closely with CCB's Deputy Director for Church Buildings, critical to success in this role will be ensuring that the programme's approach to church decarbonisation is developed in close alignment with CCB's wider role in providing guidance and support to dioceses and parishes.
Strategic Leadership:
- Bringing strategic focus to how we structure and segment the decarbonisation journey and offer across our church portfolio to develop and refine the decarbonising churches workstream strategy.
- Aligning the net zero ambitions of the churches workstream with the context of our churches as significant heritage buildings. Balancing the potentially conflicting needs of decarbonisation, heritage, conservation and the needs of the building's users in our approach.
Grant Management and Delivery:
- Overall delivery responsibility for the NZC Programme's grant streams to churches.
Workstream Delivery:
- Developing a clear and coherent approach to decarbonisation in churches, working closely with colleagues from across the Cathedral and Church Buildings team.
- Engaging with the diocesan NZC Officers through the NZC Programme Officer to ensure that the national programme is meeting their needs and can flex to respond to feedback, and address new areas as they emerge, where it is strategically sensible to deliver this nationally.
- This is a one-year fixed term homeworking contract with the possibility of extension depending on funding.
- The post holder is expected to attend infrequent face-to-face meetings 1-2 days per month.
You will be passionate about the decarbonisation of the built environment, effective and organised in planning and delivering work, and experienced in engaging with and responding to stakeholders needs.

Purpose
This is an exciting and vital role within the Education Programme of a leading mental health charity focused on supporting the systems around children and young people. Our Education Programme is our body of charitable activity delivering training and resources appropriate for schools, colleges and universities, often working with these education settings to create a whole organisation approach to support children and young people’s mental health.
We are looking for a warm, proactive and efficient project manager capable of communicating clearly and confidently with the charity’s delivery partners and those we support, both over the telephone and face to face. You’ll enjoy working with external stakeholders, freelance trainers and our office team, be highly organised and happy working as part of a team and with autonomy. You’ll manage a varied workload, prioritising projects as necessary, and will be comfortable liaising with a wide range of people at all levels. The aim of this role is to deliver education projects to scope, on time and on budget with the support and guidance of the Education Programme Manager, Head of Programmes and wider Charitable Activities team, allowing the Charlie Waller Trust to achieve their vision and mission.
Key responsibilities and duties
The Project Manager role will help us to deliver our new 3-year strategy and beyond. The role will:
- Work with the Education Programme Manager and a wide range of stakeholders, including the Head of Programmes, mental health trainers and clinicians, to plan, deliver and evaluate both strategic and operational projects:
- Manage the planning and delivery of a range of projects for the Trust from project initiation through to project close.
- Ensure projects remain on time, on budget and within scope.
- Monitor progress against KPIs and provide regular data-driven updates.
- Effective management of project interdependencies, risks and issues.
- Ensure all project materials are of high quality, including writing briefings for senior stakeholders, working with communication team colleagues.
- Work with other teams within the Trust to identify opportunities for cross-organisational working to develop engagement with our information, training and services, and engage as part of the wider organisational team:
- Ensure that the needs of marginalised and minoritised communities are considered and embedded within all projects.
- Work in collaboration with colleagues with lived experience of mental health difficulties, ensuring their voice is central to our work.
- Collaborate with colleagues across CWT to identify and develop projects for funding bids and contribute to proposals and presentations where required.

The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Manager to help drive the success of our flagship Science Leadership Program through meticulous planning, coordination, and execution. Reporting to the SLP Director - who leads the overall vision, design, and delivery of the Program - you will play a key role in ensuring its operational and programmatic excellence, collaborating to create an outstanding experience for participants.

Key Responsibilities
• Program Design & Implementation:
o Act as a key liaison point for speakers, partners, and stakeholders, coordinating communication, scheduling, and pre-event logistics; contribute to preparatory meetings to ensure alignment on session objectives and program expectations.
o Lead the design and distribution of key SLP content—including session briefing documents, welcome packs, seating charts, and feedback surveys to enhance the convening experience.
o Work with the Events and Operations Teams to help in the coordination of event logistics, including detailing AV and room setting needs, developing staffing plans, and contributing to event-related project trackers.
o Develop and implement inclusive and engaging activities to support community building among the active cohort.

o Collaborate with Fellowship Affairs colleagues to create a seamless experience for Fellows, working closely in areas where SLPs intersect with Fellowship policies and support services.
• Feedback, Impact Assessment, & Data Management:
o Develop an enhanced feedback approach to evaluate program effectiveness and participant engagement, including the creation of targeted survey questions and evaluation metrics.
o Maintain accurate records of Fellow attendance and feedback and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program outcomes. Prepare post-event reports and presentations highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.
o Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment by engaging Fellows and partners in discussions to co-create program experiences based on feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and participant satisfaction.
• Communications:
o Collaborate with the Communications Manager to support the effective delivery of the SLPs, including drafting engaging event content, curation and posting of content for our website and internal Hub site, and contributing to relevant communications channels.
• Budget tracking and Administration:
o Assist the SLP Director in managing the program budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and responsibly.
o Help to track expenses and monitor financial performance in line with the program’s budget. Work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure all invoices are processed and paid.
• Science Leadership Program Support on the Ground:
o Attend all SLPs for the full duration, arriving up to two days ahead of time to ensure logistics are in place.
o Provide on-the-ground coordination support to the Fellows, SLP Director, and Events Team to ensure successful delivery of the convenings, including greeting speakers, helping with room set up, and responding to Fellow and other needs as they arise.
• Support and contribute to other Schmidt Science Fellows convenings, including for our Senior Fellows community, as required.
• Collaborate, co-create, and support team-wide activities as a means of contributing to and strengthening the culture of SSF.

• Attend all Science Leadership Programs for the entire duration, arriving 2 to 3 days ahead to ensure logistics are in place and remaining ½ to one day after to support post-SLP logistics.
• We operate across two core hub offices, with teams based in both Oxford, UK, and Washington, D.C. and we work with Science Leadership Program delivery partners in California and various cities in North America. Some flexibility with working hours is expected to accommodate collaboration across time zones.

Programme Coordinator
We are recruiting for a Programme Coordinator, who will support the delivery of the Maternity Neonatal Voices Partnership project.
Position: Programme Coordinator (Maternity Voices Partnership)
Location: Remote/covering Birmingham and Solihull
Hours: Full time role covering 2 MNVP areas (BSOL) or 2 part time roles of 18.5 hours each available
Contract: Fixed term contract until 30th June 2026
Salary: £26,272 per annum pro rata

The Role
The organisation is responsible for delivery of MNVPs for both Birmingham and Solihull ICB. Travelling is required to engage and meet with service user reps, leads and relevant stakeholders. Part time applicants will be assigned specific trust to work within (again travel will be required within the specified area). Some level of cover will also be required across the 2 areas in cases of absence, annual leave etc.
This is a fixed term role which will involve supervision and line management of a team of volunteers, leads and delivery of the MNVP forums and associated activities as well as supporting the administration of the contract.
Main activities within the role include:
• Recruitment of MNVP members and volunteers
• Build strong working relationships with commissioners, partners and local parents and families
• Ensure parent and families views are fed back in a clear, understandable matter to commissioners
• Production of a range of reports including data to senior managers and commissioners
• Active use of Social Media to engage with service users and partners including managing meetings via these channels
• Coproduction of communications with Local Maternity Neonatal Systems ensuring service users views are listened to and included in actions
• Attendance at a range of meetings with stakeholders and partners
• Active engagement with other MNVP Forums across the country including through the use of social media
About You
You must have the natural ability to build effective relationships, be approachable and have an outgoing personality as well as being IT literate and a good communicator at all levels. Experience of working with midwifery services is helpful as is knowledge of MNVP priorities and aims.
Applicants for this post must be willing to work flexible hours based around the needs of the service and travel to a range of locations across Birmingham and Solihull. This role does have elements of remote
working.
