Working requirements, salary & benefits
Salary: between £22,300 and £25,300 dependant on location, plus pension scheme
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm. 28 days annual leave (including Christmas gift days); One year fixed term contract; we aim to support all Graduate coaches to progress to other roles with us after this initial year, with development towards management level within 3 years. This exciting new role will be instrumental in supporting the provision and development of effective, efficient and optimized utilisation of data across the organisation, primarily using PowerBI.Working closely with the fundraising teams you will ensure they are receiving the correct insight to drive income and supporter growth. Alongside the Insight Manager you will initially assist in moving MAF UK’s data model and reports to a Fabric data warehouse. The data warehouse will become the single source of truth and the basis for all of MAF UK’s reporting needs.
In addition you will also have the opportunity to work on integration projects as MAF looks to bring data together in a unified way.
On the job training will be provided and there is potential for the job holder to undertake a data apprenticeship using the government funding scheme.
As the Data Analyst you will be responsible for
Enhancing PowerBI Reporting by:
- Maintaining the suite of self-service KPI reports for MAF UK via PowerBI and improve on this as required
- Owning the Quarterly Dashboard and ensure linked reports are fit for purpose
- Being proactive in delivering hands-on support to the Fundraising teams to help user adoption and understanding
- Gaining contextual knowledge of the Fundraising teams to be able to propose new reporting solutions to help campaign monitoring and drive increased income
- Ensuring the Fundraising teams are empowered to make strategic data-driven decisions and be prepared to respond to queries in a timely manner. This will include the use of third party data enrichment tools
- Building strong interpersonal relationships throughout the organisation to promote the confidence of the data team’s output
- Being proactive in setting up regular meetings with key stakeholders in discussing their reporting and analytical requirements
- Keeping up to date with PBI Product development
- Contribute to the design of data collection, criteria and maintenance aspects of new projects ensuring that data collected is adequate, of good quality, and matches what was sought
- Helping explain complex data processes to staff in a way that can be understood across the organisation and with the purpose of providing clarity
Supporting the Fabric Data Warehouse development by:
- Building knowledge of the MAF UK Fabric environment and assist the development as directed by the Insight Manager
- Being a confident deputy to the Insight Manager to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required
- Gathering requirements around a unified data model across MAF organisations and deliver a solution
Additional Tasks include:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the existing D365 Configuration and system integrations within MAF UK.
- Monitor and maintain D365 usage, such as data cleansing and de-duplication, in collaboration with other team members
- Assist with data imports and be proactive in seeking data processing efficiencies across the organisation
- Working with other team members to ensure the Retention Policy is adhered to and is fit for purpose
- Other tasks as may reasonably be allocated from time to time by the MAF UK Senior Leadership Team
- Provide technical support for communal staff prayer and communications meetings
- Ensure that all information, utilised and disseminated by MAF UK is done according to all legislative and regulatory requirements (e.g. EU General Data Protection Regulation; Data Protection Act 2018).

External Engagement and Global – Global Advancement

Summary of the role
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join the University of Exeter’s Global Advancement team as Donor Relations Manager. Senior Media - Marketing And Communications Manager

Brief about the role

- Leadership & Supervision: To provide leadership to the dynamic team and keep an oversight on the performance of the team members on regular basis, provide guidance and supervision as required, to organise monthly 1-2-1s with the team to provide support in achieving their objectives.

Chatsworth House Trust is an independent charity dedicated to the long-term preservation of Chatsworth House, the art collection, gardens, woodlands and park for the benefit of everyone. The Development Department is responsible for securing income from corporate sponsors, trusts and foundations, public bodies and individuals.
Chatsworth House Trust has developed a number of long-term sponsors over the years and is keen to continue to grow sponsorship income. About the Role
As Development Officer you will support the Development department in fundraising for the Chatsworth House Trust with a particular focus on sponsor account management and stakeholder cultivation and stewardship of events. You will also be responsible for all administration to ensure the successful running of the department.
This is a full-time role, based at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. Normal office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm, however those working in the Development Department are likely to be required from time to time evening work and weekend work for which time-off-lieu (TOIL) will be given for hours worked beyond the working day.

1. Policy research and analysis including:

3. Thought leadership for water security, water governance and climate finance
- Provide subject matter expertise on climate finance to support integration of water security and WASH and understanding of applicable pathways to influence climate finance policy towards increasing investment.
- Participate in knowledge exchange with fellow WaterAid staff in Canada and globally as part of internal working groups and communities of practice.
Requirements
To be successful, you’ll need:
- A postgraduate degree in environmental studies, climate change, or water governance.
- 5+ years’ experience in international assistance, policy analysis, and advocacy.
- Proven ability to engage with civil society, government agencies, and donors.
- Strong expertise in WASH, climate finance, and governance.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with experience in policy brief development.
- Willingness and ability to travel in Canada and internationally, sometimes in difficult environments (when travel is permitted).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across global teams.
- Demonstrated ability to write high quality briefing notes, policy briefs, and influencing plans in English.
Desirable:
- Experience working in low- and middle-income countries.
- Proficiency in French or other WaterAid working languages.
- Knowledge of Canada’s reconciliation policies and Indigenous water rights.
- Fundraising and grant proposal development experience is an asset.
- Experience within a global federation and Canadian civil society a strong asset

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Chief Executive to lead the charity through the next exciting chapter and manage the implementation of programmes that enhance the capacity of voluntary and community organisations across Wiltshire and surrounding Counties.

Wessex Community Action is an independent charity, providing infrastructure support to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector across the Wessex region. Key responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership: In collaboration with the Board, the Chief Executive will define WCA’s strategic plan for the next 5 years. Establishing clear deliverable goals, monitoring and reporting on the charities’ impact.
· Change Management: Lead the charity through a period of change as we transition our services and refocus our core purpose and Mission.
· Brand Development: Review WCA’s brand positioning. Aligned to the income and product goals, establish a new brand strategy that clearly represents our position in the voluntary sector.
· Sustainability/Fundraising: Develop and execute a new Income Strategy. Establish a sustainable and diverse portfolio of income generating products that meet the charities expenditure profile and deliver financial sustainability.
· Product development and capacity building: Review & develop WCA’s product offering to improve impact, generate sustainable income and build capacity and capability across the sector.
· Foundation Building: Establish a strong foundation for future service growth. Develop WCA’s operational infrastructure. Modernise WCA’s policies and processes.
· Stakeholder Management: Work closely with a wide variety of key stakeholders across the sector. Identify areas of collaboration, positively influence policy, strengthen existing relationships and ensure WCA maintains its position as the voice of Wiltshire’s voluntary sector.
· Operational management: Direct responsibility of the charity’s core operational processes including financial management, HR, health and safety, compliance, governance infrastructure development and reporting.
· Team Leadership: Lead and develop a skilled and dedicated team who represent WCA
Key Skills:
· Strategy Development: Proven experience developing and executing strategies in the voluntary sector. Including: Brand and product development and successful fundraising expertise.
· Results-Oriented: Strong focus on outcomes, with a track record of delivering tangible results.
· Partnership Building: Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships, particularly with large and complex statutory organisations. Proven success in forming positive relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders.
· Regulatory Knowledge: Practical understanding of the regulatory environment within which Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations operate.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced community engagement manager to lead the delivery of our community engagement strategy and Compassionate Neighbours project, both of which play a key role in the hospice’s ambitious plans to reach everyone who could benefit from our care.
The successful candidate will be a confident and proactive trainer and project manager, and experienced in delivering impactful and collaborative community engagement programmes.
You will work with the Associate Director of Communications and Engagement and the Community Engagement Officer to support and grow Trinity’s Compassionate Neighbours befriending project and take Trinity’s Community Engagement toolkit to communities across our catchment area.

The overall purpose of this role

- Lead the Compassionate Neighbours project, which aims to reduce social isolation amongst people at the end of their lives.
- Recruit, train, supervise and support volunteers to become Compassionate Neighbours.

We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in a community engagement/community action role or similar with a good working knowledge of the principles of community engagement;
- Project management and volunteer management experience;

- Experience running projects that involve working with vulnerable people, ideally with an advanced understanding of safeguarding;

The Role

What the job involves
Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a programme of owned products, activities and events, in addition to third-party challenges. Alongside our two owned events, March for Men and the Grand Depart Classic, we also recruit teams in events such as the TCS London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
In this role, you’ll project manage a number of third-party events which take place across the UK, including our teams at the Brighton Marathon, Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Great North Run. You’ll also be tasked with identifying new opportunities across the UK in the charity events market.
This role will cover all aspects from setting budgets, creating a marketing plan, building the supporter communications, organising event logistics, delivering event weekend support, followed by remittance and thanking to ensure we maximise the funds raised from these events. Alongside this, you’ll work with other teams within Prostate Cancer UK to support the full calendar of events and take the lead with supporting our volunteers at our events.
Working with our Communications teams, you’ll ensure that we make the most of every opportunity, from promoting the events to warm and new audiences, identifying and building relationships with the strongest case studies, to ensuring a high proportion of event participants continue to support us after completing their event.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a dedicated person to join our established, experienced and high-performing Events and Community Fundraising team, that has ambitious plans to grow income to £16M+ by 2030. As a team, we work hard to combine our strengths and motivate each other and share a passion for success. You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team that will help you grow your strengths and support your development.
You’ll have experience of working in a sporting events team with a background of assisting or leading with the delivery of large-scale events, covering aspects such as marketing, communications and event delivery. Strong organisational skills will be combined with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to tight deadlines.

In this role you will be responsible for creating, developing and managing the acquisition, development and retention activities for our individual givers:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- The project lead on our new digital acquisition strategy, working alongside an agency to deliver the strategy and increase the number of new financial supporters to the Charity.
- Develop campaign briefs, budgets and campaign targets to manage campaigns end to end, this will include project management of internal and external teams across Individual Giving campaigns. You will work with the Community Experience Team to optimise campaigns using data insights.
- Work with internal teams, such as Marketing, as well as external agencies to create and deliver high performing retention and acquisition campaigns.
- Work with the Community Experience Team to develop and manage an exceptional supporter experience programme that drives engagement through retention, conversion and engagement for our regular givers and one-off donors, as well as to ensure new supporters are welcomed and thanked consistently to drive engagement.
- Support the Individual Giving Manager to deliver the strategy for acquisition and retention.
- Support the Philanthropy Officer to develop the mid-value programme to deliver a sustainable engagement and cultivation programme for these supporters.
- Manage the income and expenditure for acquisition and retention campaigns and monitor all targets. You will keep teams informed of budgets and work with them to optimise cost savings.
- Monitor and report on campaign activity and analyse results to enhance campaign performance and inform campaign planning, decision making and improvements.
