The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past year, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. With new leadership installed at both lay and staff levels and a consultation process about to begin for the development of a five and fifteen-year strategy the Museum is looking for a new member of the team to assist our new CEO, Sally Angel, as she works to deliver a new vision for the Museum.

Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach. We have a job vacancy for a Dementia Specialist to join Shine as the Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) / Dementia Coordinator. 

Shine has a membership of over 14,000 members living with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus and associated conditions and over 6,500 associated members.

In the last year we have seen a 25% increase in members who are living with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. There are currently just over 600 members with NPH, plus their carers registered, but we are expecting this to continue to rise as awareness and diagnosis of the condition grows.

Our Philanthropy Coordinator will proactively track and manage a pipeline of next and existing High Net Worth Individuals and support HorseWorld's Major Donor Working Group comprising the Chair of Trustees, CEO and Heads of Departments.  You will be expected to provide insight and identify opportunities for connection plus manage and track the stewardship tools to guide donors through their giving journey, including cultivation plans, sourcing and presenting tailored information for donors.  Facilitating and attending meetings and events, both in person and online, you will be ensuring steps are being taken to nurture donor relationships.

Resolve Poverty is seeking a Network Development Coordinator to establish a cross-sectoral community of Lancashire (by which we mean Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool) based stakeholder organisations. Working with this community, the Network Development Coordinator will identify opportunities to strengthen anti-poverty activities across the region that align with Resolve Poverty’s strategic priorities to: 

• Maximise the financial resources available to households 

• Implement effective strategic responses to poverty 

• Equip stakeholders with the knowledge they need to tackle poverty.

This exciting new role, funded by the National Lottery, will enable you to harness the work of Resolve Poverty so that we can have impact. You will join a dedicated and growing team working to maximise the impact of local responses to poverty in order to resolve poverty nationally. 

Title: Network Development Coordinator (Lancashire) 

Location: Combination of homeworking and office based. There is an expectation that you will work one day a week from our offices in central Manchester and that you will travel extensively across Lancashire in order to deliver this role.

Hours: 5 days per week (35 hours). Shorter working hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Contract: 36 months.

Probationary period: 4 months. 

Purpose: To establish a cross-sectoral community of Lancashire based stakeholder organisations that strengthens local and regional responses to poverty.

• Creates a space for good practice sharing.

• Shares evidence, research and policy developments through communication channels, training and events. This will:

• Improve the ability of the public sector to implement effective responses to poverty. 

• Enable the VCSE sector to access the knowledge it needs to improve and better target responses to poverty.

Delivering this role effectively will involve: 

• Establishing a network of Lancashire based professionals and volunteers signing up to receive communications. 

• Engaging in key forums and on a one to one basis with key stakeholders, including local authorities, the Combined Authority and VCSE sector infrastructure bodies.

• Hosting meetings, forums and events to create space for anti-poverty knowledge development and activities 

• Delivering against funding KPIs, including network reach and engagement targets.

Youth services are a vital component of Asylum Welcome's wide range of services for sanctuary seekers across Oxfordshire . You will lead and deliver advice and support to individual young people and organise a regular youth club, sports and other activities.

You will have part time staff support and will organise a team of volunteers, working closely with other Asylum Welcome staff and services to help young people under and over 18 to settle and thrive locally.

The Centre for Computing History is an accredited museum and charity situated in Cambridge, with collections and learning at its heart. The museum's core purpose is to increase understanding of the history of computing by exploring its social, cultural and historical impact.

Our collection rightly celebrates the incredible evolution of computing technology. However, the museum also has a responsibility to recognise the ecological impact of the rise of technology, and to date we have not explored these stories. We are excited to have secured funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association, for an exciting new two-year project, Broken Tech : Broken Earth. Role Summary 

We're now seeking a talented, energetic and efficient Project Coordinator to oversee this exploratory project. 

The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association, aims to encourage participatory practice in museums, and this concept lies at the heart of this project. Participatory practice means involving visitors and communities in the creation and interpretation of museum exhibitions, programs, and events content – asking for stories about objects in the collection, rather than assuming we know what the most important stories are. This approach is inclusive, encourages visitors to feel ownership and helps museums discover untold stories about their collections.

We are looking for someone special to co-ordinate this process and exploit our unique platform to raise awareness of environmental issues and e-waste and to create change. The Project Co-ordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Broken Earth Project, including working closely with all external and internal stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring project milestones are met. This new fixed-term role is a critical part of the project and crucial to its success.

MLMC is now looking for a part-time Finance and Administration Officer.  The successful applicant will manage MLMC’s day-to-day finances providing financial information to the Charity Coordinator and other staff as needed. Additional duties include administration/governance support to the Charity Coordinator and to manage the day to day running of the office (this does not involve any people management). This role calls for an individual with accounts and/or book keeping experience, the ability to run an end to end payroll using a computerised system including HMRC and year end reporting, and excellent administration skills. It is crucial that you will be able to communicate politely, professionally, effectively and clearly with all stakeholders (e.g. fellow staff, customers etc.).

About this job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual with experience in project management who also loves working directly with the people we support. The ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences and deliver the project objectives will be essential for this role.

This is a ‘time-limited’ ‘test and learn’ externally funded project. The ‘Community Connections project’ – will help people living with and affected by MS to navigate support services ensuring that they have access to the support they require, at the time of their choice, and is delivered in a way that best suits their individual needs.

This is a fixed-term project until March 2026.This is a full time role comprising of 35 hours per week.

This role is specifically focused on South West England and will require extensive travel to regions such as Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire. Home working will be considered for applicants residing outside these regions.

Working closely with people affected by MS, Key external partners, our funder Wales and West Utilities, the Service and Support Team, the Cymru Director, and the wider MS Society teams. You will be outcome-focused and deliver tangible results. You will need to forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders and represent the MS Society at key meetings and events in the project area.

This role can be based anywhere in Wales but there will be an expectation of travel throughout Wales and the project area (Wales, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire), the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

An exciting opportunity has come up within the small, specialised library of Anna Freud. The library supports over 600 University College London (UCL) postgraduates students and the staff of Anna Freud.

We are looking for a librarian who is able to respond to varied user needs and dedicated to providing a friendly high standard service. The role would suit an enthusiastic and responsible self-starter with strong collaboration and planning skills, who is familiar with the requirements of higher education and small specialist libraries. The post is a three-day per week job-share with one of the current librarians. Together they will support the diverse information needs of the users at Anna Freud including both staff and students.
The two part-time Librarians share the responsibility for the management, and promotion of the library’s services and resources and for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality information service that meets the needs and aims of Anna Freud. 
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the planning and provision of a changing and expanding library service within a dynamic and high-profile mental health charity.
