About us
Who we are
More than 600 people are diagnosed and start treatment each day; over 50 of these are children.
Due to fear and lack of knowledge, there are over 3 million people across the world living with undiagnosed leprosy and every day the disease causes more damage to their health, livelihood and future.
Through raising awareness, prevention, treatment and follow-up, we support people so that they can have normal lives. We are also actively involved in the strengthening of health systems and assist local governments in their leprosy management programmes.
We work collaboratively and flexibly both in the UK and with our colleagues in Bangladesh and India.
