About the role
You will work within a dynamic and friendly team to help support our Research Programme Managers to develop and manage the Versus Arthritis research portfolio. This will include collating and monitoring data from diverse sources to help provide oversight of our funded research. About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- A degree or equivalent level of experience in scientific, medical or research related domains via the charity, commercial, health, higher education or publishing sectors.
- Comfortable in working with research related metrics and data, with some experience of understanding and preparing medical/scientific information for non-specialist audiences.
- High quality verbal and written communication skills including being able to communicate complex information and requirements to a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
- A flexible and collaborative approach; able to work closely and adaptively with immediate team and collaboratively across the organisation.
- Good information technology skills, including effective database/PubMed/internet search techniques and significant experience of using Microsoft Office packages.

The Centre for Computing History is an accredited museum and charity situated in Cambridge, with collections and learning at its heart. The museum's core purpose is to increase understanding of the history of computing by exploring its social, cultural and historical impact.
Our collection rightly celebrates the incredible evolution of computing technology. However, the museum also has a responsibility to recognise the ecological impact of the rise of technology, and to date we have not explored these stories. We are excited to have secured funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association, for an exciting new two-year project, Broken Tech : Broken Earth. Role Summary
We're now seeking a talented, energetic and efficient Project Coordinator to oversee this exploratory project.
The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association, aims to encourage participatory practice in museums, and this concept lies at the heart of this project. Participatory practice means involving visitors and communities in the creation and interpretation of museum exhibitions, programs, and events content – asking for stories about objects in the collection, rather than assuming we know what the most important stories are. This approach is inclusive, encourages visitors to feel ownership and helps museums discover untold stories about their collections.
We are looking for someone special to co-ordinate this process and exploit our unique platform to raise awareness of environmental issues and e-waste and to create change. The Project Co-ordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Broken Earth Project, including working closely with all external and internal stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring project milestones are met. This new fixed-term role is a critical part of the project and crucial to its success.

As Global Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer, you will support PEAS country level MEL teams in fulfilling their learning objectives in relation to delivering our school improvement technical assistance programme to non-PEAS partner schools. The role
We are looking for a Trusts and Grants Officer to play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing success and expansion of our partnerships with trusts, foundations and statutory givers. Working closely with the Trusts and Grants Manager and four more team members, this new role will lead on nurturing low and mid-value relationships with prospective funders who have capacity to give ongoing funding to FareShare.

The Trusts and Grants and Officer will take on the management and stewardship of a diverse portfolio of four and five-figure funding relationships, while developing new partnerships with a range of givers and leading on prospecting for certain areas of our funder portfolio.
Main areas of responsibility
Build relationships with a portfolio of four and five-figure trust supporters, understanding their motivations and tailoring opportunities and communications to cultivate strong, long-lasting partnerships.
Foster a deep understanding of FareShare’s work and strategy to create persuasive fundraising proposals that inspire and solicit funds. This includes working closely with colleagues in the wider Fundraising team to build a sound understanding of FareShare operations and where support is most needed.
Supporting with the team’s prospecting process, using your own research and sector knowledge to identify new opportunities from identification through to solicitation.
Lead the Trusts & Grants and wider Fundraising team on specific projects within FareShare’s work, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to gather information to inform fundraising activities.
Develop personalised stewardship plans to deepen funder relationships. Craft compelling written communications including emails, proposals, and reports to showcase the impact of trust support and celebrate key milestones. Support on and lead calls, meetings and visits to strengthen funder partnerships and engagement with our work.
Support the Trusts & Grants Manager and wider team as needed, especially in instances where a complex funding application requires more than one team member to complete.
Maintain accurate records of partner interactions in our CRM system and shared files, and consistently update financial records and account plans.

About the Role
This role will lead on the day-to-day operation of the accounts receivable, credit control, accounts payable and cash management functions. You will be required to work closely with the financial controller and other members of the Finance Team to ensure that processing in these areas is complete, accurate and compliant, and supports the timely preparation of management accounts. You will also work with colleagues from across the organisation and key external stakeholders to ensure that income is received, cash is held and monitored following the Charity’s internal financial controls, and all legal and regulatory requirements are complied with.

- Lead the day to day operations of the sales ledger function

- Main point of contact for queries regarding non-rental income sales invoices
- Monitor all cash transactions and ensure they are recorded on the Finance system on a timely basis

- To manage the preparation of the weekly payment run, ensuring that all due items are included
- Review nominal ledger activity and post journals for on a timely basis to ensure ledger information is accurate and complete in line with month end timetable

- Lead the coordination of the PMER Community of Practice and organise and chair the Community of Practice Steering Group. The PMER Community of Practice is an informal group designed to facilitate the sharing of learning and best practice among WaterAid staff, especially PMER staff.
- Lead on PMER Community of Practice communications including the CoP communications strategy, quarterly PMER inductions, trainings and learning sessions and communicating regular PMER updates.
- Ensure that the PMER Community of Practice is active, incentivising participation in COP activities e.g. drop in clinics, webinars, discussions etc.
Strengthen organisational PMER capacity
- Develop and manage effective PMER capacity strengthening initiatives to support the application of the PMER core procedures and especially Reporting processes. This includes developing new and strengthening existing PMER guidance and tools and developing and delivering training.
- Provide remote and/or face-to-face support to Country Programmes and Regional Teams on an ad hoc basis to strengthen and build capacity in PMER
- Support any other relevant processes including administrative tasks within the remit of PMER as required
External Representation
- Represent WaterAid externally on key PMER issues, linking with key networks as appropriate
About You:
- Experience of coordinating and rolling out complex reporting processes, working with a range of stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Experience of building engagement of colleagues on a specific area of work, in-person or remotely
- Experience of strengthening the skills and capacities of others either face-to-face or remotely
- Good understanding of planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting concepts and approaches

About the Service
The WiSER Project (Women’s Safe Engagement and Recovery Project) began in April 2018 and works across 8 London Boroughs. The service provides an intensive outreach intervention and model of support for women experiencing VAWG and severe multiple disadvantage. The service aims to improve outcomes across the following key areas of women’s lives: access to support and services, health and safety, economic wellbeing, opportunities to enjoy and achieve.

The work is an assertive outreach caseworker role; an Advocate will be responsible for supporting 5 women in their assigned borough. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantage and VAWG and a strong understanding of how this can make it difficult for women to engage with support. You will have worked with people experiencing various aspects of severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution, offending history and children taken into care.
About You
- Demonstrable experience of working with people affected by VAWG
- Experience of risk assessment, risk management, and safety planning with victim/survivors including those at high risk
- Experience of working with people affected by severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution and offending behaviour
- Experience of multi-agency partnership working
- A sound working knowledge of the practical, emotional, social and economic issues facing women and children affected by domestic abuse
- Knowledge of housing, welfare and policy relating to domestic abuse
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding for adults and children
- Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and display effective time management skills
- Ability to manage and monitor a small service user welfare budget

As our Intergenerational Care Coordinator, you will lead the intergenerational care strategy, organising events and building connections across generations. You'll collaborate with schools, community groups, and Jewish organisations, while designing lesson plans and contributing to educational projects. Your work will have a positive impact, promoting our values and enhancing lives.
What will your typical day involve?
You will lead the intergenerational care strategy, working with Nightingale Hammerson teams and external stakeholders. Key tasks include organising intergenerational events, creating spontaneous engagement opportunities, and fostering communication with Jewish organisations, synagogues, schools, and community centres.
You'll produce reports to show the impact of the programme and contribute to educational and research projects. Impeccable customer service is essential, as you'll welcome visitors and ensure a positive experience. Additionally, you'll develop departmental processes to improve efficiency and promote Nightingale Hammerson’s values.
You’ll also handle telephone and email enquiries, maintain strong working relationships, and occasionally support evening and weekend events.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a Diploma in Intergenerational Care and Education being essential. They must demonstrate a willingness to have a positive impact on people’s lives, possess excellent communication skills with a kind and caring approach, and have a strong understanding of Jewish culture and way of life.
Essential skills include literacy and numeracy for producing written materials and statistical information, alongside excellent IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, record systems, and video call programmes.
Flexibility to meet service needs and the ability to work independently without constant supervision are key.
Experience in healthcare or educational settings is required, along with experience in leading or coordinating groups. The candidate should have experience designing lesson plans, and while experience in leading intergenerational engagements is desirable, it is not essential.
