LSE’s Philanthropy and Global Engagement (PAGE) division engages with alumni, supporters and friends, volunteers, organisations and the wider community to support their lifelong relationship with LSE, to further the strategic aims of the School and to increase philanthropic income for agreed School priorities. Within PAGE, the Regular Giving team coordinates, plans and delivers a program of activity to encourage gifts to the School in support of strategic priority areas.

The Regular Giving Manager will lead on the implementation of a new mid-level giving strategy aimed at recruiting, retaining, and upgrading donors at the four-figure level, and lead on legacy giving marketing. This role will play a key role in building both the major gift and legacy giving pipelines for the future and will work closely with the Philanthropy Team.

The Regular Giving Manager will have proven experience of:

• Creating and delivering regular giving appeals, including content gathering, design work and data management across direct mail, email, and digital platforms including video content.

• Creating and delivering stewardship for regular giving donors, including impact reports, mailings, emails, and events.

• Creating and implementing donor journeys for different audiences and segments within mass fundraising.

• Strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.

• Collaborative working and building effective relationships with internal and external colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers to meet objectives.

• Using data and systems effectively to record, track and plan their work.

JOB PURPOSE

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Account management of a portfolio of high value partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support. 
• Work with existing corporate engagement products and support the development of new employee fundraising ideas. 
• Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners.
• Act as team lead for quarterly corporate e-newsletter.
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities.
• Support a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events and identify visibility opportunities for UK for UNHCR.
• Collaborate with UK and international Private Partnerships & Philanthropy colleagues where possible to strengthen engagement with partners and prospects across channels. 
• Support Senior New Business Officer with prospecting, research and cultivation in designated sectors.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE 
Essential Experience

• A track record of stewarding and maximising multi-year corporate partnership(s), preferably within the charity sector.
• A track record of devising and delivering bespoke and engaging partnership fundraising plans and campaigns to increase income.
• Experience of communicating complex themes and subjects to a variety of audiences, written and verbal.
• Experience of event management and co-ordination to engage corporates and their employees

Sobell House is a hospice based in Oxford. It is jointly funded by the NHS and Sobell House Hospice Charity. The hospice offers specialist palliative care to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement in Oxfordshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Charity Fundraising Team in a newly formed role. We are looking for an individual with a passion for making a difference and who thrives on building long-term, multi-faceted relationships.

You will be responsible for the delivery and growth of our philanthropy and corporate fundraising programmes, building significant donor relationships including creating, developing and implementing a portfolio of donor cultivation, stewardship and touchpoints.

Your role will highlight the vital work Sobell House does, and raise vital income for Sobell House.

Overall Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Work proactively to deliver and maximise philanthropic and corporate relationships and delivery of income targets
• Secure long-term, sustainable income from High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Corporate Partners to meet fundraising targets
• Work with the Director of Fundraising and Fundraising Management Team to build and grow a donor pipeline by identifying potential prospects and connecting networks
• Diversify the Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy income streams by developing a suite of opportunities for income generation including; multi-year donations, sponsorship, Gifts in Kind, Charity of the Year, Sobell Business Club and payroll giving as well as stocks and shares
• Build, manage and maintain a portfolio of HNWI and Corporate events
• Steward relationships to ensure donor satisfaction and long-term financial commitment, including detailed and timely reporting
• Manage effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues across Sobell House to support prospect cultivation and donor stewardship
• Review and develop strategic plans with the Director of Fundraising and Relationship Fundraising Manager to ensure growth and sustainability
• Manage and maintain donor records and plans on our CRM, Donorfy.

Salary: £32,853

Who we are looking for 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join our Special Events Team as Senior Special Events Fundraiser.

We have some exciting events coming up including a reception in October and a high-profile dinner at The Design Museum in November, so we need somebody to come in and hit the ground running. Please note that these events are in the evenings so the role will require some flexibility.

You will work closely with the Head of Special Events to deliver our events, taking responsibility for key elements of the management and delivery of each event and ensuring they meet budget targets. You will collaborate with internal teams on delivering events, including the bi-annual Patrons’ Club Reception and other events that arise over the year.

Relationship building (both externally and internally) is a key part of the role and an integral part of working for JDRF so you will have excellent interpersonal and stewardship skills.

As a highly creative and confident fundraiser, you will be given the scope to develop existing events as well as creating new and innovative events to increase fundraising as well as raising awareness of JDRF. 

Experience required 

You’ll have previous experience of: 

• Managing successful Special Events from concept to post-event evaluation

Special Events Lead

We have a great opportunity for a Special Events Lead to play a vital role in an exciting charity’s Philanthropy team, reporting to the Co-Director of Philanthropy.

Position: Special Events Lead (Maternity Cover)

Location: Cambridge/Hybrid

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

The Special Events Lead role manages the organisation’s special events from start to finish, raising the visibility of the charity, building relationships with prospects and securing income for the Children’s Hospital and the Cancer Hospital.

They will be responsible for project management and professionally executing the organisation’s special events. Past events have included a fundraising gala for 500 guests at Trinity College, a private reception at a jewellery designer’s studio and a behind-the-scenes tour of robotic surgery at the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• You will take lead responsibility for the operational management and delivery of several Special Events, from dinners and receptions to larger flagship events.
• Create a portfolio of events that will engage a variety of supporters and prospects.
• Develop a yearly events plan for prospects and donors with consideration of cross-team requirements.
• You will manage relationships with volunteer organisers of major special events; not organising the events themselves but being the key point of contact and providing support e.g. income management, marketing support via the comms team, Gift Aid and best practice advice.
• Create detailed event plans with specific objectives and actionable plans, manage event budgets astutely and review whether each event met its objectives.
• Maintain good relationships with committee chairs and committee members where events are being organised by volunteers.
• Take the lead at events; briefing and supervising event staff and volunteers, ensuring that each staff member has a sense of authority and ownership for the successful outcomes of his/her respective areas, as well as the department and organisation.
• Acknowledge, thank and maintain up-to-date, accurate records on the organisation’s CRM database.

About You

As Special Events Lead, you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent of knowledge and experience with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of successful coordination experience. You will have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills as well as the ability to project plan, design and deliver briefings.

It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills and are highly skilled in building relationships with different stakeholders. You will also be a great networker and creative relationship builder.

This role will help acquire and steward existing and prospective supporters, including individuals, schools and faith groups taking part in fundraising events and activities, as well as one-off and regular donors. It will ensure people receive an excellent supporter experience, so that both they feel valued and informed about the impact they are making.

Supporter Experience

• Be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries, providing information, support and materials quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure that supporters receive timely and relevant charity updates and thanks, and that all scheduled communications add value to the relationship.
• Assist in organising acquisition and donor care events (in-person and online), showcasing the service and encouraging a deeper connection to the cause.

Fundraising Administration and Best Practice

• Manage and update supporter records and report on fundraising activity and performance.
• Work with the Fundraising and Finance Teams to process donations and reconcile fundraising income.
• Prepare supporter data analysis reports to support planned activity.
• Assist with fundraising, marketing projects, and campaigns.
• Ensure activity and communications meet fundraising best practice, as well as our brand guidelines and organisational values.
• Ensure supporter data is handled sensitively and in line with data protection and our privacy policy.
• Keep up to date with fundraising best practice and legislation.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the organisation’s service provision and impact.

Community Fundraising and Individual Giving

• Lead on relationships with existing community supporters, including fundraisers, schools and faith groups, ensuring an excellent supporter experience.
• Help to identify opportunities to grow our community of supporters, and plan engagement initiatives and events that raise the profile of the organisation and lead to increasing levels of public support.
• Work with colleagues to acquire new supporters using a planned process of cultivation, conversion and stewardship.
• Support the Senior Individual Giving and Legacies Officer and Senior Philanthropy Officer to develop and implement campaigns and donor journeys.

Volunteering and Gifts in Kind

• Work collaboratively with volunteers and the Community Partnerships Team to ensure adequate support for fundraising activity and outreach opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team to maintain and develop our food donation programme.

General

• To attend meetings internally as and when necessary, for example, Directorate, Management and planning meetings.
• To undertake such other duties within the competence of the post holder which may be required from time to time.

We are looking for an enthuiastic and driven Head of Fundraising and Development who has a strong track record of success in strategic development and management of six-figure funding partnerships and relationship building.

You will develop and foster relationships with the aim of obtaining financial support for the sustainable development and growth of QEST. Stewarding existing funders and developing new business, the role also presents an opportunity over the long term, once funding is secured, to lead and build a fundraising team at a transformational time in QEST’s development and strategic direction.  There is currently a Fundraising Manager.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with the CEO and Fundraising Manager to devise, develop, and deliver a fundraising strategy for QEST to achieve diversification of income (restricted and unrestricted) for the long term with a particular focus on:

o Trusts & Foundations (strong track-record)

o Corporate funders

o Statutory funders

o Sponsors/commercial partners

o Major donors and philanthropy

• Reporting to the CEO and Board of Trustees you will secure and maintain sustainable income streams, in line with agreed targets which meet our charitable objectives, focusing on six-figure+ strategic partnerships where possible
•  Developing a communications strategy for fundraising with the CEO and Communications Manager; as well as creating fundraising promotional material for print, newsletters, websites and other media as required
• Establishing transparent and open reporting protocols, working closely with the CEO and Finance Manager to meet the needs of financial reporting, forecasting, management accounts and the Annual Review
• Working closely with the CEO, Fundraising Manager and Board members, partners and supporters to develop partnerships and advocate for QES
• Working with the Project Manager to create and organise fundraising-specific activities and events
• Identifying commercial opportunities, nurturing and converting potential prospects in support of specific activities, projects and overheads
• Cultivating, building, optimising and managing relationships with existing and new funders, sponsors, partners and supporters
• Writing and compiling regular reports to funders, sponsors and partners as required
• Providing on-going reports to the CEO and Board of Trustees on fundraising income, goals, and initiatives
• Promoting and complying with current legislation and ensure fundraising and partnerships meet the organisation’s policies on EDI; GDPR; Health & Safety and Safeguarding

The Place exists to develop, nurture and celebrate dance ideas and experiences for all. People will flock to watch and enjoy dance in our theatre, on tour or online, study dance with some 250 of the most diverse and extraordinary dance artists at London Contemporary Dance School, or with other young people in our Centre for Advanced Training.

Our Development Team deliver transformational change in fundraising activities in order to support The Place to achieve it’s unprecedented vision for a 'world with more dance'. As we evolve our business model we have taken time to understand where the opportunities are in terms of sustainable future fundraising for The Place and, in particular, this role reflects our ambition to continue to grow individual giving. The Development Manager position is a key part of the team. Working with the Director of Development to meet the annual fundraising targets.

This is an open-ended permanent contract. This is a full-time position (equivalent to 40 hours per week). These hours are inclusive of a one-hour paid lunch break each day. Your hours of work will be agreed with the line manager.

Some of this post holder's key responsibilities will be to:

• Identify a pipeline of prospects to support the organisations artistic and education activities.
• Lead the development and delivery of creative and compelling cases for support from individuals as well as tailored cultivation plans.

The Role  

In this role you will collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop and implement corporate fundraising initiatives for Thames Valley Air Ambulance. About you

As an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, you will feel confident in engaging with supporters and delivering presentations. 

Your role involves managing your own pipeline of donors, so you will need to take initiative, prioritise and organise your own work, with limited supervision to achieve deadlines across multiple tasks. Problem solving skills are essential. 

You will have:

- Excellent customer service skills ideally with a background in fundraising or sales.
- Strong administrative, planning & prioritisation abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Experience in new business development including identifying, researching and reaching out to cold prospects.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft office applications

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, part time working will be considered for minimum of 24 hours per week. Some anti-social working hours will be required.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented fundraiser to join our small and supportive team. The Fundraising Officer (Trusts & Foundations & Events) is a new role to our charity and will play a key part in supporting our future plans.

UP attracts significant support from individuals, and there is huge potential to grow income from Trusts and Foundations with this increased capacity in the fundraising team.

In this role, with guidance from the Head of Fundraising, you will contribute toward income generation through researching and identifying Trusts and Foundations whose criteria match UP’s work, and developing compelling and inspirational proposals and grant applications. You will maintain the Trusts and Foundations pipeline, ensuring there is a steady stream of applications submitted to maximise funding opportunities, grow income and the number of multi-year grants.

While the primary focus for this role will be to grow income from Trusts & Foundations, you will also support the Head of Fundraising to develop the philanthropy programme.
