Our Values
Migrant Democracy Project (MDP) envisions a society where all migrants at home in the UK hold collective, political power to shape a society rooted in justice, freedom, and solidarity.
We are looking for a full-time Community Outreach Officer to organise first-generation migrants in the UK towards migrant justice by supporting community members to organise events and participate in campaign activities. The work will connect across 3 streams: voter registration; advocacy & campaigns; and political empowerment.
Whether it’s engaging migrants at a voter registration stall, supporting migrant leaders to develop activities in their own communities, or sharing stories for the campaign for votes for all - the lived experience of first generation migrants is at the heart of all our activities.
We are looking for a proactive Community Outreach Officer who is passionate about migrants’ rights and democracy to start working as soon as possible.
Who funds the role?
The role is funded by a grant from the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.
Contract
This is a fixed term contract, 2 years (with the possibility of extension depending on future grants). Benefits include:

Location

Qualifications

About the role:
As the HR Systems and Payroll Officer, you will take on a varied role that is central to maintaining and enhancing our HR and payroll systems. You will handle significant data input, act as a system administrator, and ensure seamless payroll processing, accurate data management, and compliance with regulations.
This role also involves providing customer support to system users, troubleshooting issues, developing new processes, training users, and creating guidance materials to ensure effective system use. About the position
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced HR generalist to join a leading international anti-slavery organisation. You will be leading in a London-based HR and Operations team of four staff with high levels of autonomy and the ability to make a visible difference. Responsibilities
Lead the Global HR Function
· Lead on HR strategy and delivery across the global organisation – currently comprising approximately 85 staff in 10 countries
· Provide high quality and timely employee relations and change management advice and support to the Senior Leadership Team
· Manage renumeration and benefits globally, ensuring the Freedom Fund’s continuing ability to attract and retain a high performing team
