About the Role
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) Support Unit (SU) seeks an experienced accounting professional with proven track record in the non-profit sector to provide finance and accounting services to support the Finance team. We are looking for an individual with strong understanding of accounting principles, with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
The consultant will assist with preparing and analyzing financial reports and ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations where OGP conducts business. This role involves various accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with audits. The Consultant will work closely with other finance team members to ensure that financial and accounting systems, controls, and standards are in place to support the organization's overall financial health.
Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and experience with accounting software- Intacct or Netsuite preferred. The consultant can work remotely, with a preference to be based in the Washington, D.C. area, London, or Brussels.
Deliverables and Timeline
Consultant services are required through March 31, 2025, with the possibility of a contract extension. Key deliverables and services to be provided include:

Agreement and payment
OGP and the Consultant will enter into a service contract as listed in this Terms of Reference. The agreement will start as soon as possible. For services rendered per the description above, the consultant will be issued a contract with a fee of US$60/hour (VAT included) corresponding to about 20 hours per week between October and March. Contract will be for a maximum of 560 hours of work through March 31, 2025, with a ceiling amount of USD $33,600, with possibility of renewal. The consultant will invoice OGP at either monthly or other agreed upon frequency intervals, as preferred, and include details of number of hours worked and description of services rendered per invoice period and banking information. OGP will provide an invoice template.

How you will make a difference:
Amna is seeking a Social Media and Design Consultant on a monthly retainer contract to support our digital content strategy and enhance our online presence. Both individuals and agencies with the relevant skills and experience are welcome to apply. This role is pivotal in amplifying our mission through creative and impactful content that engages our audience and reflects our core values. We are recruiting four Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. These will be dedicated, regional roles where you will support the scale up of the IPS workforce in your designated region.
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. The Workforce Leads will work closely with IPS Grow Regional Managers, local and national stakeholders, including NHS services, to recruit the IPS workforce needed to achieve high levels of employment outcomes for IPS clients.

Job Purpose
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator position sits within the Research, Evidence and Learning team and will make a key contribution to the quality of our programmes. The post holder will keep abreast of state-of-the-art M&E approaches to ensure the use of technically appropriate monitoring and evaluation models and information systems. The post holder will support the design of new programmes as well as provide technical advice and input to the monitoring, evaluation and learning of existing programmes. The Coordinator will also play a crucial role in ensuring that our external communications and policy work (at all levels) are informed by and accurately represent our evidence base.
Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead the development of proposals from a MEL perspective, including contributing to and leading on theories of change, and the development of MEL frameworks. Design, lead and manage participatory processes to establish country programme MEL systems. Lead development of organisational tools and processes – e.g. developing reporting templates for project reports where not supplied by the donor Lead the development of quality programme standards and tools for their implementation. Advise on and support the building of an evidence base of impact. Support development of theories of change for development of strategic goals for Health Alliances. Support the development of indicators and monitoring of Alliance activity. Support the design and implementation of evaluations. Building MEL Capacity Provide hand-on technical assistance to teams in the monitoring, evaluation and review of existing projects. Support staff with development/use of MEL tools and processes. Between years one and two you will receive a two-week paid break and a budget of up to £1500 to complete a research project on ‘Impact and Sustainability’ and report your findings back to representatives of our Group Board. You will also have the opportunity to have a two-week placement in one of our partner organisations, to help you develop your professional skill set. Home-Start is here to ensure that no parent or carer with young children feels alone. Through volunteer-led home visiting support, we provide emotional and practical support to parents and carers with young children facing challenges such as isolation, mental health difficulties and poverty. With our support, families avoid crisis point and children thrive.
Home-Start London is an independent charity that connects and strengthens the 16 local Home-Starts in the capital so that together we can reach more families. Collectively, our network supported over 6,500 families including 9,500 children last year.
About the role
Working closely with the Director and Home-Start staff, volunteers and partners across the capital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our joint projects and activities from our peer learning groups and network events to our growing portfolio of funded partnerships.
What you'll be working on:
- You’ll take the lead on coordinating our peer learning groups, joint research and volunteer recruitment campaigns
- You’ll support the Director to secure and manage funding partnerships, including monitoring plans and budgets
- You’ll oversee development and monitoring of Home-Start London’s annual operational plan
- You’ll regularly engage with local Home-Starts and partners, ensuring they are shaping our work
- You’ll oversee logistics for network events
- You’ll provide administrative support, from raising invoices to organising/chairing network meetings
- You’ll create content for our website and social media to help promote our work
- You’ll manage office volunteers, ensuring they are happy, effective and well supported
About you
To thrive in this role, you will be highly organised with excellent multi-tasking skills and previous experience of project coordination and/or operational administration. You will be a great relationship builder, able to support people to work together effectively while ensuring agreed targets are met. As much as you enjoy collaborative work, you will also be happy working independently under your own initiative.

As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.
The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.
You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.
Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.
It is a key time to be joining the charity and helping us to continue to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. The charity has been hugely successful, but the work is far from done. The impact of the sudden death of a baby is wide and never goes away, as we know from the families that we support. This drives all our work, across each department.
