Purpose of the role
Consumers International is embarking on a range of initiatives in 2025 in sustainable living which include projects and campaigns related to topics like food and energy systems. The Coordinator, Sustainable Living will play a crucial role to help our global team of experts on these topics stay connected, aligned and reaching common goals including World Consumer Rights Day.
You should be comfortable working remotely in a busy and varied global environment and able to communicate clearly and effectively. This role may be shaped to cover a variety of topics and opportunities such as research or project management depending on the needs of the organisation and interests / skills of the individual.
Main responsibilities
i) Team co-ordination and development
- Support setting the agenda for the weekly and quarterly meetings for the globally located team; track and monitor next steps to support team leadership
- Track goals and impact for sustainable living programme and projects
- Maintain and plan team calendar to include relevant global events and major project milestones
- Support with select team management activities e.g., gathering information, organising team intranet, budget planning etc
- Improvement of team processes to increase efficiency and wellbeing
- Stakeholder engagement and partnership development support
- Ad hoc projects to assist with strategy and organisational development
ii) Event co-ordination
- World Consumer Rights Day: Support preparation for the annual World Consumer Rights Day, a global campaign in over 100 countries focused on a Just Transition for Sustainable Living. This will include coordination and relationship building with consumer advocates and leaders around the world, virtual event design and delivery, planning and tracking event statistics, and other related activities.
- Preparation for events ranging from webinars to online conferences to in person events around the world
iii) Project management
Project management responsibilities are dependent on the interest of the individual and time-availability given other responsibilities. Involvement in sustainable living projects may include:
- Research and analysis, gathering and synthesizing views from across consumer organisations, government and experts on latest developments or best practices
- Researching, designing and building strategies for engaging experts
- Creating effective project plans and carrying out activities to achieve project goals
About GLAN
The Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) works with affected communities to pursue innovative legal actions across borders to challenge states and other powerful actors involved in human rights violations and systemic injustice. Our actions address the most pressing instances of human rights concern and they fall within the following themes: War and occupation; accountability and supply chains; environmental and economic justice; and migration and border violence.
Since our establishment in 2016, we have developed legal strategies directly addressing human rights impacts in over 23 countries and territories. Our cases include the successful legal challenge against imports of cotton produced with forced labour in Xinjiang (East Turkistan) into the UK on behalf of World Uyghur Congress and the climate case against 32 European States before the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights, brought on behalf of six Portuguese youth-applicants.
More recently, we have supported the preeminent Palestinian human rights organisation Al Haq, to rapidly challenge UK weapons exports to Israel due to the risk of these arms being used in violations of international law
About the Role
GLAN has a small yet powerful fundraising team. Our Development Lead excels in relationship fundraising, having forged multi-year funding partnerships with aligned Trusts & Foundations and major donors. Philanthropic Giving Programme Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to secure new major gifts from high-net-worth individuals, Trusts & Foundations, and corporations.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide expertise in events management, to project manage the 39th WAGGGS World Conference and to support regional teams in the delivery of five Regional Conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
39th World Conference
• Responsible for overall project management of the in-person 39th WAGGGS World Conference in 2026, ensuring that the event fulfils the objectives and is delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate the relationship with the host Member Organisation, the Girl Guides Association of Cambodia. Ensure communication is smooth and that WAGGGS’ input to the event is provided within agreed timelines.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding with the host Member Organisation.
• Management of the World Conference budget.
• Build and manage relationships with WAGGGS staff, volunteers, partners and Member Organisations, including working closely with volunteers involved in the delivery of the Conference.
• Coordinate the World Conference programme in collaboration with the World Board, WAGGGS staff and volunteers.
• Responsible for developing and monitoring the risk assessment and contingency plan for the World Conference, including ensuring appropriate Safeguarding processes and procedures are in place.
• Support with the recruitment and induction of the Conference Planning team and other volunteer groups.

We are working in partnership with the Maritime Volunteer Service (MVS) who are seeking a Fundraising Manager to manage their income generation via fundraising. The role will focus on enabling the growth and advancement of their mission in line with their strategic plan, whilst increasing opportunities for the development of new and existing projects.
MVS is a recognised national maritime training organisation, and a UK registered charity with more than 20 units around the country providing training to nationally and internationally recognised standards, serving local communities especially in times of need or emergency and taking part in resilience exercises ashore and afloat.

An exciting new position has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join the team at International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network, an international not-for-profit maritime organisation working to improve the lives of seafarers and their families with services, resources, strategies and advocacy. We are looking for candidate/s with suitable accounting or bookkeeping qualifications, experience of using accounting software and CRM systems such as Quickbooks, Xero, Salesforce, or GlueUp. This role requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Key responsibilities and responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintain the purchase and sales ledgers
- Respond to supplier and client’s queries
- Process supplier and sales invoices, staff claims and expenses

Length and Salary

Purpose of The role
Habitat GB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Advocacy Manager to lead our efforts in advocating for policy change within the UK government (in particular targeting the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) to prioritise housing in international development. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in supporting Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy agenda which aims to promote equitable access to adequate housing worldwide, focusing on informal settlements in the Global South. The Global Advocacy Manager will be instrumental in building Habitat GB's profile and influence, establishing strong relationships and coalitions with stakeholders in the UK, identifying lobbying opportunities, providing strategic political insight, and ensuring systematic monitoring and analysis of the international development political landscape. Person Specification
