Purpose of Role:
We opened our Day Centre for older people, adults with disabilities and adults with dementia in October 2021. The Office Manager role is a new position that will provide a wide variety of operational support to the Day Centre Leadership Team as we are embedding and growing our Day Centre offering and increasing the number of clients who attend the Day Centre and the types of services they receive.
We also support older Wandsworth residents in the following groups with outreach in the community and with activities in the Day Centre: BAME; digitally isolated; financially isolated; LGBTQ; socially isolated; women; and those with, or at risk of, mental and/or physical ill health and disabilities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hall Farm in Snetterton for an experienced maintenance supervisor to work closely with the Centre Manager to efficiently maintain the general buildings and pasture at our Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Snetterton, Norfolk.
The key responsibilities of this role are to ensure an up to date, well-planned, effective preventative and reactive maintenance regime is in place. This role is responsible for a team of two maintenance assistants and is required to provide daily support and on-going training and development as required. You will be responsible for the critical systems such as drainage, water, lighting, heating and fire related alarm systems as well as ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for the pasture management and the use of all relevant chemicals and pesticides where necessary.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance in relation to buildings, grassland/pasture management and have the ability to react swiftly to maintenance requests to meet strict timescales. You will possess excellent communication skills, highly organised with a sound understanding of the principles of H&S and Fire Safety in a similar environment. You will also be required to drive certain farm machinery such as tractors and transporters.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Special Events Officer on a six month contract to join the Fundraising team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join the busy Events team. About you

You will be diligent, conscientious and have high attention to detail. In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to develop positive relationships with our supporters in order to manage and grow existing events and relationships.

About the role
As the Senior Regulatory Officer, you will be primarily responsible for the supervision work of the Standards Directorate. The role
This is an important post for the organisation and as the Qualified Management Accountant you will be responsible for leading the management accounting and financial planning of the charity. The role involves working across the organisation, requiring strong interpersonal skills, to deliver first class management information.
- This is an impactful and broad role, but to give an idea of focus, the core areas of delivery will include:
- Owning month-end processes including complex reconciliations such as membership income
- Produce insightful monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary
- Lead and prepare quarterly reforecasts
- Provide support and challenge to budget holders
- Lead, with the head of finance, the annual budget process and preparation
- Prepare year-end reconciliations and support with audit
- Be the finance representative on the CRM implementation team (implementation due in 2025) and work closely with the Finance Manager on a potential change in the finance system post the 2025 audit

About the role
Our Talk and Support Groups provide a safe space for people with epilepsy to come together and share their experiences. They meet online and in person and are open to anyone, ensuring that no one feels alone with their epilepsy.
In this role you will be working within our services department helping to coordinate, develop and engage our Talk and Support Group volunteers and deliver positive outcomes for our service users. As our Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability of our charity, directly impacting our ability to support our service users. Your work will span both operational and strategic aspects, maintaining financial excellence, integrity, and resilience.
Your expertise will be key to driving our charity's growth and development. As a member of our small team, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process optimisation. Key responsibilities include leading management reporting, cash flow planning, and preparing the Charity Annual Report & Accounts.
We seek someone with a detailed knowledge of accounting principles, ideally within the charity sector, strong analytical skills, and the ability to demonstrate both operational and strategic thinking. Proficiency in accounting and a relevant finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, AAT, or QBE with equivalent experience) are essential.
This role requires advanced Excel skills, experience in charity accounts, and familiarity with the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP).

Growing Hope is a charity that champions accessibility and provides free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have five clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley, High Wycombe, Gateshead and Redbridge. We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to our senior leadership team of four individuals – our CEO, Executive Director of Services, Director of Operations, and Director of Growth. We are looking for a strategic and innovative individual with strong planning and organisational skills who is committed to the Growing Hope vision and values. As the charity grows we require support for project management and development of processes across the organisation. We’re looking for an individual who looks at the bigger picture, can help us with horizon scanning and can bring new ideas and processes to our ways of working.
Job Purpose
As Growing Hope reaches towards its vision to have twenty clinics by 2030, the Senior Team require additional support in order that they can fulfil the strategic direction of their roles. The Executive Assistant will be flexible and adaptable and able to help the team with streamlining processes as the charity grows. This role will provide essential daily support to the senior team including diary management, project management and process support across the organisation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow. The role will involve:
- Providing administrative support for the Senior Leadership Team, making effective use of their time by planning and managing their schedules through diary management, forward planning and managing deadlines.
- Strategically developing processes to enable the senior leadership team to manage their work effectively.
- Taking initiative within the team in order to support the function of the charity.
- Having a flexible approach and working with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work and projects.
- Supporting standing meetings and committees: scheduling meetings in liaison with participants, compiling papers, taking and distributing minutes.
- Support managing inboxes as requested.
- Managing complex diaries and scheduling meetings across the team.
- Maintaining the charities strategic risk register.
- Support with policy and procedures. Helping to ensure policies and procedures are up to date and reflect current legislation.
- Maintain data protection and confidentiality in line with Growing Hope’s information governance policy.

Project Management:
- Managing specific projects as agreed with the team for example, Fundraising Event planning, Christian Therapists Forum etc.

The Role:
As the Database & Impact Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing, customising, and optimising their case management software, Microsoft Dynamics. You will work closely with stakeholders, including Pragmatiq, the University of Birmingham, and Trust Impact, to enhance data capabilities and build data maturity across their network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Database Development & Management: Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics for women's centres. Lead on requirements gathering and improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.
* Training & Support: Train team members and stakeholders on Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI, fostering a positive data culture.
* Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with GDPR and data retention policies. Lead the annual IT audit for Microsoft Dynamics.
* National Travel: Occasional travel to women's centres and other locations across the UK (estimated two days a month).
Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking a dynamic individual with extensive experience in database administration and development, particularly focusing on case management systems. You should demonstrate a strong passion for justice and rights, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
This involves:
* Proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects.
* Experience in creating and delivering training materials for diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is highly desirable, but we can consider experience with similar software.
* Knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements.
This role combines database administration with impact and learning. While extensive expertise in database administration is required, they welcome applicants who are committed to developing their skills in impact and learning. Ideally, you will have previous experience in the social sector, specifically within the charity and non-profit sector. However, individuals with similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
