We have a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, efficient and organised Events Administrator to join us as a Professional Networks Events Administrator at The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) - a medical charity focussing on supporting doctors to deliver medical imaging and cancer services.
The Professional Networks Events Administrator provides an organised, proactive service to members of the professional networks team. In particular, as the Events Administrator you will support the Professional Network Manager and Co-ordinators during the busiest time of the year to develop and deliver events that form part of the annual workplan to support for our faculties- clinical radiology and clinical oncology.

What you’ll do:
- Develop and deliver from start to finish a limited number of smaller-scale events annually for professional network audiences based in the UK.
- Work closely with the Professional Network Coordinators and Network leads to identify and confirm inspiring and up to date programmes, speakers, clear learning outcomes, and event materials.
- Follow and contribute to the development of existing event project management templates and frameworks, to support consistency of approach and a learning culture across the Networks team.
- Where required, adapt and apply per-product budget templates for our repeatable, smaller-scale, products ensuring that are accurate, including direct and staff costs, as well as forecast delegate and sponsorship income.
- Proactively track and monitor event expenditure and income, reconciling budgets at the end of event periods to inform evaluation, and reporting on team and organisational targets.
- Monitor and respond to queries about the overall Networks programme (events, webinars, e- newsletters and resources) from stakeholders via telephone and email, triaging and redirecting to relevant colleagues.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of working in event administration across in person and/or online and hybrid formats, including working with external experts to deliver activities.
- Proven experience of providing high quality customer service to stakeholders
- Experience using Microsoft packages, and/or online event delivery platforms e.g., Zoom or MS Teams.
- Ability to work with budgets and track income and expenditure for a variety of activities simultaneously.

The Role
The Senior Individual Giving Officer will act as a source of fundraising expertise in the Direct Marketing and wider development team, as well as the global Development and Marketing teams. Lead on devising a digital strategy that will maximise supporter engagement and acquisition, and thus grow individual giving income, with the input of the Direct Marketing Manager
Mercy Corps Europe's fundraising team is in a growth phase and there are many opportunities to innovate. Creative freedom is very much encouraged and the diversity of the organisation's programmes makes our fundraising work truly varied. There is huge potential in this role to deliver initiatives that will have a significant impact in growing our donor base, including testing new ways of engaging with audiences, integrating marketing across new channels, expanding use of online advertising, SEO and AdWords, harnessing data to create more effective campaigns, engaging thought-leaders and influencers online, and investigating new innovative ways of reaching key audiences.
The ideal candidate will have experience of the latest trends in fundraising and will have both the creative and technical skills to deliver key elements of the direct marketing strategy. They will have demonstrable knowledge of the UK fundraising market, with experience of working across multiple online channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Our stewardship programme is underpinned by our emails and so experience devising communications plans and writing for email is a must. Essential Job Responsibilities
Supporter development
●Lead on integrating online and offline fundraising, offering supporters a cross-platform experience
●Lead on innovating our digital offering - taking ideas from conception through to testing and beyond
●Work with the Individual Giving Officer to innovate our fundraising offerings and find new ways of acquiring supporters
●Ensure that Mercy Corps grows the number of engaged supporters and income across channels to meet targets

The role
The stewardship manager will report to the senior philanthropy operations manager.
We are seeking a creative and driven stewardship manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Working alongside members of the wider team, you will lead on creating and delivering a gold-standard experience for major donors supporting the Royal Free Charity, showcasing the impact their support has across our hospital sites. Your efforts will play a key role in ensuring continued, uplifted support of the charity.
You will play an important role within our philanthropy & campaigns team, helping to build relationships, and increase income, in a pivotal year for the charity. The role will offer significant scope for development, giving you the opportunity to grow your skillset in a supportive, ambitious, and high-performing team.
Responsibilities
· Work with members of the philanthropy & campaigns team to create and deliver a gold-standard stewardship experience for major donors supporting the Royal Free Charity, being actively involved across the cycle of a relationship before, during and after a gift.
· Lead on the charity’s approach to thanking and recognition of our major donors.
· Develop high quality and bespoke impact reports, newsletters and communications for supporters to convey the impact of their support, bringing them closer to the cause.
· Develop other key stewardship touchpoints and engagement opportunities for supporters, while remaining aware of different levels of giving.
· Work proactively in identifying potential stewardship opportunities, sharing ideas and suggestions with members of the team.

The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5 million through donations in 2023/2024, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the Royal Free Hospital site.
We ride ourselves on being supporter focused and agile, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
· Our Philanthropy & Campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations, and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on the acquisition of a new surgical robot, our forthcoming cancer campaign, our essential volunteering, complementary therapy and support services, the charity’s first patrons’ programme, and special events to support these activities.
· Our Public Fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges. Our database and supporter care teams sit within public fundraising, with their work underpinning and supporting the entire department.
Building on our achievements, our board of trustees has agreed to invest in expanding the fundraising team to develop a sustainable infrastructure that will support our growth ambitions.

Here at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 babies, children, and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
This vital work would not be possible without our dedicated Fundraising Team! Rainbows receives just seven weeks of government funding annually, and it is through the relentless efforts of our fundraisers that we’re able to remain open for the remaining 45 weeks each year.
As part of the expansion of our Fundraising Team, we’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Head of Public Fundraising & Supporter Experience to join us!
Location: Hybrid, home-based or hospice-based working. (Initially, this role will require regular presence at the hospice in Loughborough.)

About the Role
As the Head of Public Fundraising & Supporter Experience, you will play a senior role in our Supporter Relations Management Team and act as deputy for the Director of Income Generation and Marketing. This pivotal position involves developing and leading strategies to grow our income, engage supporters, and deliver an outstanding supporter experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing, collaborative public fundraising team, delivering against ambitious growth targets

We are looking for a part-time Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. The charity’s working hours are 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. The ideal working pattern for this role would be two full working days of 7.5 hours (based in the office), with a further half day of 3.75 hours (which you may choose to

The Membership Engagement Manager is a crucial role for the College as you will champion the value of RCPCH membership, enhancing the member value proposition and take the lead on improving the College's engagement with its members.

About James’ Place
James’ Place Charity was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and
suicidal thoughts, but didn’t find it. James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. James’ Place offers men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.
The first James’ Place opened in June 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, and has to date supported more than 2,300 men experiencing suicidal crisis through our innovative and safe therapeutic intervention. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centre and in our landscaped garden, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families.
In 2022 we opened a new centre in London and in early in 2023 we launched an appeal to raise over £10m to fund three more centres across the country. Our third centre opened in Newcastle at the beginning of 2024, and we are currently raising funds to open a James’ Place in Birmingham.
