In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Equipping and Supporting Spear Centres
- Spend time in Spear Centres to build a presence and trust with the Spear coaches, in order to provide better employment support for trainees.
- Provide additional support to Spear Centres outside of London as they develop their own employer network and local employment events.
- Serving as a liaison between Resurgo, the employer and Spear Centres in collecting and sharing job descriptions, trainee CVs, interview feedback and handover documents for successful hires.
Account Management and Administration
- Conduct due diligence checks on potential employers.
- Sustain links with corporates, employers and charities in order to generate employment opportunities for young people.
- Research and compile the weekly employment email with current vacancies and opportunities (which includes all new Spear Streamlined Centres) and contribute ‘Job of the Week’ to the weekly Spear Bulletin.
- Manage bespoke recruitment processes and logistics.
- Monthly reporting for national employer partners.
- Attend select online and in-person youth employment events on behalf of Resurgo and the Spear Programme.
- Support the wider Corporate and Employer Partnerships team in administrative tasks.
Support the Coordination of Employer Events
- Help to deliver central (London-based) Hire Me events with mass employment opportunities.
- Equip Spear Centres to run their own local employment activities/events, including effective review processes after the events.
- Track success of central and local events and the impact on education, employment and training (EET) statistics.
- Work with the Employer Partnerships Manager to develop and coordinate employer-related events, such as Coffee and Connect, or organise site visits for employers to a Spear training room or an insight session with a Spear coach.
Spear Alumni Network Coordinator
- Develop and run an alumni network/platform for Spear completers, keeping them updated with further job opportunities and creating a continued sense of community.
- Work with the Resurgo Church Partnerships team to build a pipeline into the Spear Ambassadors group, giving Spear completers a voice in the continuous development of the Spear Programme and encouraging Spear completers to invite those they know to join Spear.
- With the Comms team, identify opportunities for Spear completers to become Brand Ambassadors who promote our work, ensuring success stories are celebrated and feeding into funding applications and reports.
Active participation in and support for Resurgo’s team and mission
- Help build and develop Resurgo’s ethos and Christian life as a team member including leading and contributing to daily team prayer meetings as an integral part of Resurgo’s operation and for the success of its mission.

The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Income Generation team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.
We’ve been here for children for over 100 years. From our campaigns to our services- we strive to make a difference in everything we do. Between 2016 and 2021, we’ve helped make 6.6 million children safer from abuse.
Within the Income Generation Directorate our aim is to maximise resources for the NSPCC’s mission by raising funds, providing the best possible supporter experience, and building long-term relationships between donors and our cause.
To continue to deliver our mission we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of our annual income. We are looking to significantly grow our income in new and innovative ways. To achieve this growth, we need the very best team in place to deliver to ambitious targets.
The Donation Processing Team Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to the donation processing function within the NSPCC. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans for the team and leading projects to evolve and develop donation processing practices in line with Income Generation Directorates strategic direction.
Additionally, this role involves close collaboration with the finance and fundraising teams to ensure seamless donation processing and accurate financial reporting. Central to the role is fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuing compliance with the legal regulations associated with not-for-profit fundraising
Working arrangements regarding hybrid working are flexible however, the Donation Processing Team is based in London so regular travel to London would be required.
Job purpose
To oversee the processing of all donations to NSPCC, as well as take the lead on Gift Aid for the organisation and the operational management of our third-party response handling and fulfilment agency.
- This role involves managing the operations of the donation processing team of 9 staff and ensuring their work is carried out accurately and efficiently.

Sussex Emmaus is a charity dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who have previously experienced homelessness. We provide accommodation for up to 58 people (known as Companions), helping them out of homelessness and providing them with a place to feel safe and secure whilst supporting them to develop and thrive.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be a key member of the management team. Working in conjunction with the Business Manager and other Managers you will have passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of Companions and volunteers, working collaboratively to manage and delegate tasks in compliance with our Emmaus ethos, mission, strategic aims, organisational objectives and policies. Working alongside and instructing Emmaus Companions and volunteers sourcing, researching, listing, packing, pricing and merchandising stock and ensuring the optimum selling price for each donation. No two days are the same, and you'll find it rewarding helping others to thrive. The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager leads the management of corporate partnerships and associated income at FoodCycle, from £5,000 corporate funders up to flagship relationships up to £100,000, to meet our corporate income target of c. £1 million for 2025. The role sits within a Fundraising team of eight, and you will work collaboratively with colleagues across FoodCycle. You will forge engaging corporate partnerships which deliver financial support and wider benefits for FoodCycle, whilst meeting corporate partners’ engagement goals.
You will have experience of managing corporate partnerships of up to £100,000, and securing new business from corporates. You will require line management experience, as you will need to effectively manage our Corporate Partnerships Manager – New Business, and our Fundraising Officer. The role will play a pivotal role in the continued development of Light, acting as a key contact for our commissioning partners and undertaking activities to support the growth and sustainability of Light.
