Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Income & Partnerships plays a pivotal role within our organisation, forming part of the Senior Management Team (with the CEO, Head of Programmes & Impact, and Head of Operations and Finance).
They will drive the strategic development and delivery of our income generation (currently c.£1m pa) and marketing and communications work, working with established and new partners.
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual with a proven track record in partnerships development and income generation and a good understanding of communications.
The postholder will lead a small, multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with the CEO, SMT and others across the organisation to acquire and retain the funds, volunteer and pro bono resources needed to deliver and grow our work.

We have an opportunity for a Customer Specialist Manager - Housing to join our team in Newbury.
It's a fixed term role until the end of September 2025 with a starting salary of £42,000 - £50,000 per year depending on experience.
We have a hybrid approach to work where you'll share your time between the office and home to ensure a positive work / life balance.
The role
As a Customer Specialist manager you'll be leading, motivating and empowering your team to deliver advice and outcomes to customers with complex housing issues. This will include all tenancy related matters including domestic abuse, anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, tenancy changes, fraud and rehousing.
You'll ensure that the team provide prompt responses, looking for first time resolutions and taking ownership of cases from end to end.
You'll actively engage and build strong relationships with key stakeholders including statutory agencies and Local Authorities. Working collaboratively with our other specialist teams, Customer Service Management Centre and Locality teams, you'll work towards delivering our Corporate Plan and Customer Vision.
What you'll need:
You'll need to demonstrate a high level of housing expertise, including knowledge around anti social behavior, safeguarding, tenancy and neighbourhood management and an understanding of legislation. Ideally, you'll have previous experience leading a specialist team.

- Strong communication and listening skills
- Experience of coaching and managing a team, inspiring them and optimising performance

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help deliver SSAFA volunteer support to the serving community.
You will work closely with the Serving Community Manager to develop SSAFA’s support to the serving community through its volunteer delivered Serving Community Teams and the Community Volunteering Service.

About the role
The postholder will play a key role in coordinating the donation of medicines from some of the largest UK and European pharmaceutical companies including Accord, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and GSK. This is a varied role where the postholder will have opportunities to work on both account management and processes, ultimately contributing to safe and effective donations of medical product.

The Philanthropy Officer will be a vital member of the high performing Philanthropy team, responsible for both hands-on fundraising as well as providing prospect research and administrative support. Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
1. Coordinate the monthly small trusts mailing programme, refreshing mailing lists and ensuring communications are tailored and compelling.
2. Manage a small caseload of higher value supporters and prospects, ranging across trusts, foundations and individuals, and raise income by initiating and developing meaningful and enduring relationships to support Mind's charitable delivery.
3. With a range of tools, help build a strong and up to date pipeline of appropriate funders for the wider team by identifying and qualifying new prospects.
4. Manage the thanking process for unsolicited gifts and donations, ensuring personalised, timely and sensitive communication with funders.
5. Work closely with Income and Operations, Finance and CRM and Data teams to ensure all donations are processed in a timely and accurate way, have correct income codes, resolve income queries, transfers and discrepancies and ensure that the team receives timely reports in the appropriate format.
6. Input into annual and quarterly phasing of income: setting ambitious financial ask targets for donors and prospects in your caseload, carefully monitoring and reporting on progress of income, assessing risk to the budget to inform current and future financial years, and working to mitigate any loss of income.
7. Where required, help with ad-hoc prospect research and due diligence requests, completing and refreshing research profiles, using external resources and databases.
8. Provide support on stewardship event activities including coordination of guest lists, writing guest profiles, recording invites and activity on the database.
9. Support and coordinate team communications, including writing and reviewing copy for impact reports, newsletters, thank you letters and annual review mailings.
10. Ensure Mind's database has accurate and up to date records which adhere to Data Protection requirements and produce reports as required to help senior officers and managers analyse pipeline movement and income projection.
11. Undertake the accurate recording and maintenance of donor records on the database (Microsoft Dynamics), and other systems, adhering to business rules and protocols, Data Protection and Fundraising Regulations.
12. Stay informed of Philanthropy trends across the sector, actively participating in fundraising networking groups and bringing ideas to inform Mind's philanthropy activity.
13. Develop and maintain relationships with key internal contacts across departments such as External Relations, Mind Cymru and local Minds as appropriate.
14. Undertake any additional duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post.

As Seafood Sustainability Officer, we want you to lead delivery of the sustainable seafood workstream in the WWF- M&S partnership and work to promote sustainable seafood production and consumption. This will involve developing plans and actions to achieve responsible sourcing of seafood with M&S as well as analysing and assessing environmental impacts and identifying suitable improvement work. You will collaborate with food businesses to materialise sectoral transformational changes and advocate for radical reforms of fisheries and seafood related policies at the national, regional and international level. To play a part in building back nature, you must have a relevant degree or experience of seafood supply chains, aquaculture, fisheries and/or marine science in public, private, academic or NGO sectors. This will have given you sound knowledge of seafood markets and supply chains as well as aquaculture and fisheries policies. Used to engaging with internal and external stakeholders you will have excellent communication and relationship building skills. Capable of analysing scientific evidence and data you will be comfortable understanding, absorbing and synthesising complex information, and translating it into impactful policy, advice and communications. The Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) is a London-based charity with a friendly, hardworking team supporting our members in the UK and internationally.
We have an excellent opportunity for a permanent Training and Partnerships Officer to make a major contribution to the success of the leading professional body for librarians and information professionals.
This is a fantastic role working with a small team supporting the planning and delivery of a sector-leading training offer, CILIP Learn. CILIP Learn is an exciting new platform under development for CILIP’s learning and CPD offer to members and the sector.
CILIP prides itself on presenting high quality training events, often in partnership with external training providers. Training sessions are specifically designed for those working across the information, knowledge and library professions. Sessions are currently half-day, online training programmes: making them affordable and flexible to fit in around work commitments, and with the attention to detail to gain valuable skills. All our training events are delivered by experienced trainers, with specialist subject knowledge. This role directly supports the delivery of CILIP training, specifically training contracted by employers, and training delivered through partnerships.
The role
Reporting to the Director of Sector Development and working closely with the CILIP Learn Development Manager the Training and Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of CILIPs training offer.
The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in delivering or overseeing training delivery, online events and webinars, managing successful relationships with stakeholders and have strong IT skills. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- To work with the Director of Sector Development and the CILIP Learn Development Manager to deliver a market-leading training offer for CILIP within CILIP Learn. To deliver and evaluate a portfolio of training events, building effective relationships with training providers.
- To support successful contract and stakeholder management related to the training partnerships and training contracts.
- To develop and maintain systems and processes which ensure that the development of the CILIP Learn offer is based on data, evidence and market intelligence.
It is not essential for the candidate to possess prior knowledge of the sector but they will have the right level of knowledge and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and bring their transferable skills to the role.
The role is 28 hours per week, ideally worked over 4 days but we are open to discussions around the working pattern for delivery of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from companies, trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.

Job description
Re-engage has just launched a new five-year strategy which has growth at its heart. We’re looking for an exceptional person to join our team, for maternity cover, as a support and development officer (SDO) and to be a vital part of this exciting phase of our development.
Reporting to the support team manager and sitting within the service delivery team you will be working closely with other SDOs and engagement officers (EOs) with a focus on matching older people and volunteers in to Re-engage services and providing ongoing support.
Joining our team will give you a role where you’ll have a real sense of purpose and we'll give you the time, space, and support to develop in the role. We’re looking for some who is:
- Committed to engaging and empowering volunteers and older people.
- Experienced in using a CRM system to capture, store, and retrieve information on all stakeholders.
- Work with our CRM system and dashboard to identify tasks and manage workload, ensuring records of older people and volunteers are kept up to date
- Solution focused and committed to using technology to find solutions and to improve performance.
- Comfortable with communicating on the phone with people of all ages.
- A skilled and confident communicator.
- Familiar with working in a fast-paced environment with experience of working to deadlines and at meeting performance related targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Matching older people and volunteers into Re-engage services.
- Supporting volunteer and older people once they are matched into Re-engage services, including dealing with any complaints that may arise.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify applicants for volunteer roles or older people referrals.
- Making calls to older people and volunteers on a regular basis
- Responding to phone and email enquiries from our shared mailbox and phoneline that provides high quality support to older people and volunteers.
- Attending face to face meetings with colleagues occasionally
- You may be required to undertake other duties that fall within the nature of the role and responsibilities of the post.
This role will require an enhanced criminal record check.

Role Summary
In 2020/21, the Careers & Enterprise Company appointed its first ever Youth Board Member to the strategic board of directors, to give young people a decision-making voice. The CEC subsequently established a national Youth Advisory Group, to establish and embed an organisation wide approach to capturing Youth Voice, both for the purpose of driving impact and measuring the value of our work. This work has already had a huge impact on the company, and we are looking to embed Youth Voice still further into our work at a more strategic level.
The Youth Advisory Group has three primary functions across The Careers & Enterprise Company, to:
- Govern: challenge CEC’s work to consider youth voice
- Enrich: focus on the future of CEC's strategic direction
- Advise: mobilising their voice in key projects and priorities
The Careers & Enterprise Company is seeking to recruit an 18-month fixed term Youth Engagement Officer to support the administration, facilitation and delivery of youth engagement and participation across our organisation. The role will sit within the Education Development Team and work closely with our Youth Advisory Group and Youth Board members. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to champion youth voice and deliver high quality youth participation activities.
This new role has an exciting remit to develop practice, to innovate in youth voice practice, to lead on the operational delivery of the Youth Advisory Group and support with the strategic direction of this work. Reporting directly to the Education Manager responsible for youth voice, but also working effectively across the directorate and across the company, you will manage the delivery of various aspects of our operations including, but not limited to:
1. Effective project management – to ensure that CEC’s YAG has the greatest impact possible, you will work with colleagues from across the business, including at times the Careers Hub Network and put in place the right tools and processes for effective delivery of all elements of the youth voice. This may include establishing and managing relationships across teams, efficient reporting procedures and may extend to other areas of CEC’s ever evolving programme of work.
2. Innovate and design – CEC’s work, and the careers education landscape, is continually evolving. Responding to changing needs of the company, skills of the YAG members and proactively planning for project pivots, will be essential to success in this role. You will look for creative ways to strengthen youth voice across the company.
The Youth Engagement Officer will support the ongoing delivery of our Youth Advisory Group to ensure that young people bring their lived experience to meaningfully and authentically shape our work: from shaping our priorities and projects, through to supporting us to guide policy makers.
