- Providing secretarial duties to the Board of Trustees (producing agendas, papers, minutes)
- Managing the Trust’s programme of funding (to both charities and individuals)
- Facilitating the effective administration of the charity.
Membership & Philanthropy work includes:
- Supporting the Membership functions of The Skinners’ Company
- Administrating the Membership and History Committees (producing papers and minutes)
- General administrative duties

Role Purpose:
This role oversees a team of community support workers and volunteers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Our client is a small UK rare disease charity. Our client established at the end of 2015 to respond to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). MCAS is a crippling, unpredictable and frightening condition affecting the immune system. Sufferers from MCAS have “wrongly programmed” immune systems that react to a wide range of triggers including food, drink, stress, temperature and many others. The effects range from unpleasant allergic reactions, through to an overall debilitation resulting in people being unable to leave their houses. It was first recognised internationally in 1990, with a set of diagnostic criteria agreed in 2011, but is little known or understood in the UK, where incidence seems to be increasing. Here patients can wait 3-5 years for a diagnosis, often receive very little knowledge or help from within the medical establishment and can find themselves in a frightening limbo.
Their mission is to provide support for MCAS patients & their families; to bring the MCAS community together and create a cohesive voice; to lobby for awareness, universally available diagnosis and the best possible care for MCAS patients; and to inspire increased research into mast cell activation and related conditions, to improve understanding and treatment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
MARKETING & DESIGN
- Lead impactful marketing campaigns, from concept to execution, across multiple channels.

Aim and influence

The Co-production Manager is a fantastic opportunity to manage the co-production programme of work at Turn2us, which is closely aligned with the charity’s aim of tackling financial insecurity. About the Role
As a passionate professional in the identification, development and management of a wide range of relationships in support of our programme partnership, you will ensure the Career Ready programme in Glasgow and West areas (currently Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire) continues to thrive, which includes securing charitable donations from supporting partners. Overall Role Purpose
Changing Lives is a national charity supporting over 15,000 people each year facing homelessness, domestic violence and abuse, long-term unemployment and those in recovery. It is an exciting time to join Changing Lives as we expand our operations into London. We are seeking an experienced, proactive and passionate Corporate and Events Fundraiser (South) to expand our small, but dynamic fundraising team.
The Corporate and Events Fundraising Manager (South) will develop and implement fundraising strategies to cultivate strong relationships with new corporate partners and organise high-impact fundraising events to increase awareness and income. The successful candidate will also support fundraising across Birmingham and Northamptonshire, where we have established front-line services.
The role offers flexible, hybrid working and will be based from one of our London services and remotely from home.
Key Activities
· Work with the Senior Fundraising Manager to review and implement the fundraising strategy for the South.
· Work closely with the Communications Team on projects, campaigns, appeals and events.
· Deliver a strategy to identify, recruit and retain new corporate donors, Charity of the Year partnerships, payroll giving, corporate sponsorship, and gifts in kind to maximise income and deliver against targets.
· Attend corporate networking events to develop leads.
· Undertake research into potential corporate partners, understanding their motivations and criteria for choosing Charity of the Year partnerships.
· Develop and manage a pipeline of suitable companies to approach.
· Develop cause-related marketing partnerships with corporates
