OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE 

We have worked in partnership with the Young Roots charity for the last five years providing a service to young, unaccompanied asylum seekers aged between 16 and 25 and we are looking for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to manage and support this work.

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist within the Young Roots psychology service, you will report to a Senior Clinical Psychologist at HBF/Head of Therapies and manage the clinical services of the Young Roots Partnership.

This role will include management of the overall partnership project, delivery of highly specialised psychological assessments for both medico-legal and clinical purposes, provision of appropriate evidence-based therapies, delivery of clinical supervision to qualified clinicians, assistant and trainee clinical psychologists on final year specialist placements, and non-clinical members of staff. The role will also include input into policy, research and fundraising and delivery of consultancy and training.

We are looking for someone who is committed to working therapeutically with young people who experienced human rights abuses and post-migration stressors and present with trauma spectrum disorders, depression, and anxiety as a result. In addition to proven experience in working therapeutically with this client group, the candidate will have a passion for human rights work beyond the individual client work, and a desire to contribute to effecting change at a policy level.  This role requires the ability to react and respond creatively and appropriately to the needs of the charity.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of senior clinicians at the Helen Bamber Foundation, work independently to ensure the delivery of a range of evidence based psychological therapies to clients.

· Provide specialist psychological assessments and deliver trauma-focused psychological therapies to clients of the Helen Bamber Foundation.

· Train in the preparation of medico-legal reports and where relevant, contribute to the preparation of these reports for clients.

· Develop and carry out audits and research projects.

· Provide internal and external training in collaboration with your line manager.

· Supervise junior staff. This may include newly qualified psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, and research assistants.

· Provide supervisory support for non-clinical staff where needed.

· Liaise with other non-statutory and statutory organisations on matters of clinical care, safeguarding and policy.

We're recruiting for a new role for someone to lead on People and Culture at Involve.

Involve has grown in terms of both its turnover and staffing headcount in recent years. About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Head of Public Fundraising who will be responsiblefor leading an emerging department at CoppaFeel! that holds both historic and new income streams. 

With an ambitious team, we need someone in this role to engage a diverse audience and raise vital funds to save lives.

You will oversee acquisition and stewardship, maximising income from audiences including individual giving, community, gaming, lottery, legacy and in-memory giving. You will lead in developing and delivering the public fundraising strategy. With a recent review of public fundraising at CoppaFeel!, you will be key in the support and development of unrestricted income, as we invest in new fundraising products, marketing campaigns and growth.

This department is important to our growth at CoppaFeel! and it is an exciting time to join as we are committed to investing in new income streams and need a dynamic, driven leader to drive them forward. You would be able to shape this department and role the way you see it moving forward at CoppaFeel!.

The Head of Public Fundraising will sit within the Fundraising team and report to the Director of Fundraising. You will have a team of 3, with 2 direct reports. 

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced public affairs professional to join our small staff team to lead our public affairs activity and to grow the influence of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. This is an exciting opportunity to influence positive change at a time of significant policy and political developments.

As Public Affairs Advisor, you will lead on the Coalition’s public affairs and influencing activity. You will be responsible for influencing the Government’s policy and legislative agenda relating to children and young people’s mental health, forging relationships with the new Parliament, and ensuring the Coalition’s views are heard across Westminster and Whitehall.

With over 370 members across the country, our Coalition has a significant potential to extend its influence. Many of our existing members are well placed to influence at a local level through working with their NHS Integrated Care Boards, councils and MPs, but do not always feel confident carrying out public affairs work. As Public Affairs Adviser, you will work with our members to upskill them to carry out their own influencing activity through a series of ‘Learning and Development’ workshops.

You will have Public Affairs experience of developing successful strategies to influence legislation or government policy, have strong knowledge of political systems and processes, have existing networks and contacts, and feel passionate about creating positive change for babies, children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of the Coalition’s parliamentary influencing strategy.

Your new company
My client is a health-based research charity based in the heart of London. They are looking for an Operations Manager to provide additional support who is comfortable working in senior-level settings and people manage a team of 4-5 Executive Assistants. This role will be fast-paced, and you will be asked to take on all responsibility for various projects. You will be expected to work a minimum of 3 days on-site in their Central London offices.

Your new role

• Manage the team of EAs
• Co-ordinate and deliver all cross-divisional projects, communications, meetings, and wellbeing activities to ensure the effective and smooth running of the division.
• Preparing documents for CEO / CoS including correspondence, reports, minutes, briefing notes and other papers and preparing presentations
• Organising meetings at divisional level, including meetings of the senior management team and external parties
• Manage the team's operational budget, including the tracking of expenditure and review of monthly/quarterly reports. Process expenses and invoices.
• Manage and deliver cross-departmental projects. Act as point of contact for the CEO's office for organisation-wide initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of papers for internal and external meetings, attending such meetings and producing minutes, action logs or programme documentation.
• Undertake any other work that may be reasonably required from time to time 
• Undertake work in accordance with Wellcome policies and principles.   

What you'll need to succeed

• EA / Office Management experience
• Excellent people management skills and experience
• Advanced IT Skills - excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including SharePoint.
• Able to draft correspondence
• Experience of managing projects
• Experience of managing a variety of stakeholders

The Administrative Manager is a vital part of our team coordinating all the administrative and operational areas of the charity enabling the missionary staff to focus on sharing the Gospel with Jewish people. Specific responsibilities include day-to-day finances and bill paying, budget development, daily and long-term upkeep of facilities, general administration, HR, and project management.  Problem solving is a significant requirement of the position.   The successful candidate should be able to anticipate needs, evaluate solutions, and resolve problems that arise within the branch.

Purpose of the role

To lead on corporate partnerships and support the other areas of income generation, including trusts and foundations fundraising and service development. This role will have a national remit and work closely with Brook’s Executive Team and colleagues across the organisation to support business growth and innovation through effective management of existing and new partnerships.

Essential criteria

• Proven experience of securing effective and successful corporate partnerships within the charitable sector.    
• Significant experience of securing funding and generating income through charitable trusts, foundations or other funding bodies and partnership working. 
• Outstanding communication skills at all levels, with the ability to build successful relationships with a range of partners, including corporate/ business partners 
• Good financial understanding and ability to develop and present budgets and financial information. 
• Knowledge of corporate/ charitable relationships and the added value these can bring to both partners.

• Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per week

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)

As Individual Giving and Appeals Manager, you’ll deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels — helping us grow our individual giving base and strengthen donor loyalty.

• Proven experience developing compelling propositions that drive results and generate income/supporter acquisition.

• Strong planning and organisation skills, with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously. 

• Proven record of being results-driven and achieving agreed fundraising targets ad outcomes. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as relationship-building skills with an ability to inspire and engage supporters.
