About us

Who we are

We relentlessly pursue God’s plan for the salvation of the Jewish people.

We are relentless in our pursuit of God’s plan for His people because God has relentlessly pursued us with His love in Messiah. He doesn’t give up on us and, through His sustaining grace, we won’t give up on those He has called us to reach.

We engage Jewish people with the gospel.

Our passion to effectively reach the lost drives us to continually find new and effective ways to engage Jewish people with the gospel.

We equip Jewish people to follow Yeshua.

By God’s grace, we lead Jewish people to faith in Jesus—but our work doesn’t end there. We disciple new believers in God’s Word, equipping new generations of Jewish believers worldwide to serve and live for Jesus.

We inspire others to do the same.

As part of our calling to be a light to the nations, we encourage, motivate, and help believers share Jesus with those in their own spheres of influence. We provide opportunities for believers to partner with us—in prayer, by volunteering, and through financial donations—in the work of Jewish evangelism.

Our culture and values

PASSION FOR THE LOST

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. (Romans 10:1)

God’s love for our Jewish people has lasted longer, and is divinely deeper, than we can fathom. His love, which persists in-spite of our sin, our rejection, and our excuses, inspires us to take on the trials, the rejection, and the hardships of ministry life. His uncompromising love for us, demonstrated through the gospel, pushes us to aspire to that kind of love and fuels the flames of our passion for the salvation of the lost. We view our work with Jews for Jesus as more than a job; it is a calling to pursue God’s plan of salvation for the Jewish people. Every single staff member, regardless of position—as well as every task each person performs—is an offering of service to God to that end.

DEDICATION

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

Sacrifice is the very essence of what Messiah Yeshua accomplished on our behalf. As believers, we are both beneficiaries and reflections of His sacrifice. And it is in His sacrificial example that we find our dedication. This dedication arises not from our own strength but from the power of the Holy Spirit and the knowledge that no effort was spared, no moment of pain was avoided when Yeshua laid down His life for our salvation.

We are dedicated to the Lord first and foremost (Matthew 22:38), and it is from this place of love for Him that our dedication to Jews for Jesus and to each other flows. Dedication to God carries over into devotion to the work God has called us to do and the lives he has called us to live.

We seek to pour our whole hearts into our work, our colleagues, and our families. This means supporting each other through different chapters of life, faith, and ministry. It means that we are willing to go out of our comfort zones for the sake of the gospel. It means we may need to confess sin and confront it in love. It means living lives of integrity and godliness, above and beyond what some might consider the call of duty.

TEAMWORK

Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant. (Matthew 20:26)

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32)

The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. (James 3:17)

We are inspired by the example Messiah Yeshua set when He sent out the first ministers of the gospel in teams and how He continually pointed them towards both the Father and each other. It is the other-centered nature of teamwork that reflects the gospel. As we open our hearts to

the diversity of the team God has brought together in Jews for Jesus, we harness the strengths of everyone with whom we work in a synergistic way to create something greater than merely the sum of our parts.

Teamwork recognizes the importance of each individual’s personal and spiritual obligations and encourages a healthy balance of family, ministry, and local community responsibilities. It means we step in to cover one another when someone is in a personal or spiritual crisis.

Teamwork means that we uphold each other, bear with one another, keep each other accountable, and sometimes challenge one another. It means we act out of humility and work side by side with teammates even if we don’t always see eye to eye. It means we respect and even appreciate our theological and denominational differences. It means we respect each other’s personal convictions and do not cause one another to stumble (Romans 14). And it means we treat every single member of our staff with dignity and honor.

Jewish Evangelism

Our organization’s name states it plainly: we are (and always have been) all about Jewish evangelism. We won’t give up, get distracted, or passively stand by as long as there are Jewish people who need to hear the gospel. We are a one-mission organization, singularly focused in our vision for the salvation of the Jewish people.

Authentic Jewish Testimony

Maintaining the integrity of our name is paramount. All of our frontline staff are either Jewish or have a Jewish spouse. This authentic Jewish testimony allows us to speak from a unique position—within the Jewish community—as cultural insiders who understand Jewish objections to the gospel. We know that our faith in Jesus doesn’t compromise our Jewish identity; —it reinforces it.

Results -Oriented

Ultimately, salvation is a work of God through the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:7). Yet God has invited us to participate in His work, and we strive to do that job as well as we can. This requires unwavering focus, intentionality, consistency, and a commitment to measuring results. We set goals for ourselves and track our activities to propel ourselves to greater excellence in our work for God’s Kingdom.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

Equality, Inclusion and Diversity Policy

STATEMENT OF POLICY

The terms equality, inclusion and diversity are at the heart of this policy. ‘Equality’ means ensuring everyone

has the same opportunities to fulfil their potential free from discrimination. ‘Inclusion’ means ensuring

everyone feels comfortable to be themselves at work and feels the worth of their contribution. ‘Diversity’

means the celebration of individual differences amongst the workforce. We will actively support diversity

and inclusion and ensure that all our employees are valued and treated with dignity and respect. We want to

encourage everyone in our business to reach their potential.

We recognise that discrimination is unacceptable and although equality of opportunity has been a long

standing feature of our employment practices and procedure, we have made the decision to adopt a formal

policy. Breaches of the policy will lead to disciplinary proceedings and, if appropriate, disciplinary action up

to and including dismissal.

The aim of the policy is to ensure no job applicant, employee or worker is discriminated against either

directly or indirectly on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership,

pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

We will ensure that the policy is circulated to any agencies responsible for our recruitment and a copy of

the policy will be made available for all employees and made known to all applicants for employment.

The policy will be communicated to all private contractors reminding them of their responsibilities towards

the equality of opportunity.

The policy will be implemented in accordance with the appropriate statutory requirements and full account

will be taken of all available guidance and in particular any relevant Codes of Practice.

We will maintain a neutral working environment in which no employee or worker feels under threat or

intimidated.

RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION

The recruitment and selection process is crucially important to any equality, inclusion and diversity policy.

We will endeavour through appropriate training to ensure that employees making selection and recruitment

decisions will not discriminate, whether consciously or unconsciously, in making these decisions.

Promotion and advancement will be made on merit and all decisions relating to this will be made within the

overall framework and principles of this policy.

Job descriptions, where used, will be revised to ensure that they are in line with this policy. Job requirements

will be reflected accurately in any personnel specifications.

We will adopt a consistent, non-discriminatory approach to the advertising of vacancies.

We will not confine our recruitment to areas or media sources which provide only, or mainly, applicants of

a particular group.

All applicants who apply for jobs with us will receive fair treatment and will be considered solely on their

ability to do the job.

All employees involved in the recruitment process will periodically review their selection criteria to ensure

that they are related to the job requirements and do not unlawfully discriminate.

Short listing and interviewing will be carried out by more than one person where possible.

Interview questions will be related to the requirements of the job and will not be of a discriminatory nature.

We will not disqualify any applicant because they are unable to complete an application form unassisted

unless personal completion of the form is a valid test of the standard of English required for the safe and

effective performance of the job.

Selection decisions will not be influenced by any perceived prejudices of other staff.
