Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Location: Islington, London, Hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office and service visits regularly across London, Brighton, Luton, Bedford, Kent, and Liverpool. Once a month, the full People and Culture team have a collaborative office day on a Monday.
Salary: £34,100
Shift Pattern: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00, with some flexibility around these hours for events, outreach, and ad hoc duties as necessary for organisational needs. This role is a fixed term contract, ending December 2025.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Talent Acquisition team, supporting our hiring managers with all areas of hiring needs. You will report into the Talent Acquisition Partner and work closely alongside another Talent Acquisition Coordinator, and the wider People and Culture team. We are still developing the way we do things and continuously improving our efforts in recruiting the right people for the right roles within our organisation. There is an opportunity within the role to bring a wealth of new ideas and experience, to support us broaden our employer brand into localised and national communities.
You will be responsible for the day to day coordination of talent acquisition activities, regularly liaising with hiring managers at all levels to understand their hiring needs, and create engaging campaigns to support them in attracting and recruiting the right people for their roles. You will support them with end to end recruitment, utilising our ATS Reach to enhance candidate experience and hiring manager processes. We are a fast paced organisation and at times you will be handling multiple priorities at once, you will be someone who is up for the challenge and able to organise your work schedule to meet the varying demands of the organisation.
Your role will include:
- Support with day to day recruitment, supporting managers in completing actions via our ATS, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Creating engaging job adverts which attract a high quality of candidates
- Liaise closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, and reflect this in campaigns
- Run recruitment campaigns to market SIG and the role to the correct market; utilising online and offline methods such as platform enhancing, social media, in person events, outreach, localised recruitment, community links, and building partnerships with external partners
- Outreach and events - from research, to planning, to attending and post event administration
- Headhunting candidates utilising job boards, social media, and other platforms necessary
- Build an internal presence within the organisation, building sustainable relationships
- Regular service visits to understand our hiring manager needs, our internal teams, and services
- Using own Marketing knowledge and campaigning experience to further our jobs to be filled

What we're looking for:
We are looking for someone who has a passion for what we do as an organisation, with a drive to support our frontline services to be at staffing capacity, with positive influence to our resident and participant group. You will have an understanding of the Social Care market, and be able to differentiate ourselves from competitors and other health and social care providers.
We're looking for someone who can think outside the box, bring new ideas, can be proactive in talent sourcing, and can produce high quality recruitment campaigns. You will be confident in filling niche roles, as well as general frontline care and support roles, and central office positions.
- Previous experience/depth knowledge of end-to-end recruitment/similar role/in house or agency recruitment
- Ability to provide advice and guidance in line with employment law and equality acts
- Working knowledge and experience managing an Applicant Tracking System or HR System
- Previous experience in headhunting, and creating new initiatives to further successful recruitment campaigns
- Knowledge, skills and ability to create engaging campaigns to improve quality of candidates for our roles which includes utilising various areas of Marketing online and offline such as improving platform reach, community reach, building external relationships and headhunting
- Proactiveness and outgoing approach to work, ability to use initiative to resolve challenges
- Attention to detail and quality, with organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral including relationship building
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly and attend regular visits to our different service locations and outreach
- Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
CoppaFeel! is looking for a Head of Public Fundraising who will be responsiblefor leading an emerging department at CoppaFeel! that holds both historic and new income streams.
With an ambitious team, we need someone in this role to engage a diverse audience and raise vital funds to save lives.
You will oversee acquisition and stewardship, maximising income from audiences including individual giving, community, gaming, lottery, legacy and in-memory giving. You will lead in developing and delivering the public fundraising strategy. With a recent review of public fundraising at CoppaFeel!, you will be key in the support and development of unrestricted income, as we invest in new fundraising products, marketing campaigns and growth.
This department is important to our growth at CoppaFeel! and it is an exciting time to join as we are committed to investing in new income streams and need a dynamic, driven leader to drive them forward. You would be able to shape this department and role the way you see it moving forward at CoppaFeel!.
The Head of Public Fundraising will sit within the Fundraising team and report to the Director of Fundraising. You will have a team of 3, with 2 direct reports.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy
- Develop and deliver strategies to secure donations from individual donors, driving repeat gifts and income to meet your annual target and agreed KPI’s.
- Use your expertise in multi-channel fundraising including digital, direct mail, email and social media.
- Oversee and expand our fundraising initiatives including DIY fundraising, lottery, gaming, legacy, and fundraising appeals across all marketing channels to increase number of donors and donations and boosting average donation values.
- Understand and advocate for supporters, inspiring them to engage and donate, ensuring our thanking and engagement strategies encourage repeat giving.
- Develop new fundraising products ensuring our donor profiling analysis sits at the heart of new development.
- Ensure ROI and key performance metrics are used to make evidence based decisions.
- Work closely with Heads of Department to deliver the CoppaFeel! strategy.
Leadership
- Work within the leadership team to maintain the CoppaFeel! culture reflecting and championing the organisations values of positivity, creativity, community and impact.
- Work closely with all Heads of Departments to collaborate on projects and stay across the direction of all teams.
- Lead and inspire the Individual Giving Manager and Digital Fundraising Manager to meet their objectives and live the CoppaFeel! Values.
- Work with the Director of Fundraising and leadership in fundraising to set the ways of working and high performance of the team.
- Champion public fundraising across CoppaFeel! helping to develop a fundraising culture at the organisation.
Management
- Manage and support the Individual Giving Manager, Digital Fundraising Manager and oversee the Individual Giving Assistant, ensuring they have annual performance reviews, learning and development plans, KPI’s, and are supported to meet their fundraising targets.
- Responsible for the knowledge of regulation relevant to individual giving and public fundraising including GDPR and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Manage and oversee compelling fundraising communications and targeting external audiences using a range of direct response channels.
- Oversee the management of our new gaming fundraising strategy.
- Develop and oversee new fundraising products, including launching a new celebrity led fundraising initiative.
- Oversee and continue to develop our new legacy fundraising initiatives at CoppaFeel! ensuring we are stewarding legacy pledgers and legacy partners.
- Work with the Head of Finance on budgeting, reporting, re-forecasting income and ROI.
- Produce progress reports as required to the Director of Fundraising.
Administration
- Develop dashboards with the Database Executive for ease of reporting KPI’s for Public Fundraising at CoppaFeel!.
- Ensure systems are kept up to date including Beacon CRM, and CoppaFeel! shared Google drive.
- Excellent record keeping at all times of public fundraising campaigns and communications on the CoppaFeel! shared Google drive.
- Keep diary and shared calendar up-to-date, shared communications across the organisation including desk booking systems, People HR, Weekly Round Up and contribute to team meetings.
- Ensure excellent financial records are kept including invoicing, contracts for suppliers, cheques and cash collections, and team expenses, following CoppaFeel! finance policies.

CABR is a fast growing Citizens Advice Bureau and we are looking for an enthusiastic full time Advice Session Supervisor to join our team. Our volunteer team is growing significantly; we have launched a highly successful network of outreaches and we will be opening a second main site in Redditch before the end of the year so this is an exciting time to join the team supporting this.
To be successful you will need to be an already qualified Citizens Advice, Advice Session Supervisor, experienced in advice delivery with a history of supervising teams and advice sessions. About the role
We are delighted to have received three-year funding from the Aviva Foundation to fund this brand-new Grants Officer role based in London.
You’ll be part of our Programmes team supporting kinship carers in London to access grants which will help reduce financial stress. This could be grants to buy things like white goods and uniforms or accessing Buttle grants to support children growing up in kinship care.
As Grants Officer you’ll talk to kinship carers, discuss their needs, their priorities and then write charitable grant applications on their and their family’s behalf.
You will oversee and deliver the grants process, including co-ordinating the purchase of items (such as children’s clothes, beds or washing machines), collecting receipts for items as required by the funders and liaising with all teams to ensure timely receipt of funds within the charity and to the kinship carers.
Building relationships with funders is core, sharing the impact of the grants and insight about the lives of kinship families in London. You’ll work closely with Programmes, Peer Support, Training and Advice colleagues who work with kinship families in London.
You will also create and run online and face-to-face workshops and clinics, helping kinship carers to understand how to apply for other grants, thereby encouraging resilience and confidence to apply for grants themselves.
You will be a proactive and persuasive relationship builder, able to create partnerships with a range of organisations and peer support groups that support kinship families.
You’ll build trusting and respectful relationships with kinship carers who you will work one-to-one with in community settings. And you’ll build relationships with a range of grant giving organisations across London.
We’re looking for someone who can really deliver impact and demonstrate how embedding this role into the community helps to unlock funding and support for kinship carers at a local level.
The type of person we’re looking for
Kinship carers are at the heart of all we do. This role could be the difference between a kinship carer being able to dress their child for school properly, being able to buy a fridge, take a first holiday to the seaside… or going without.
We are looking for someone who is really organised and who is able to capture and present information clearly in a persuasive grant application. The successful applicant will be compassionate, empathetic, and organised. We are looking for someone who understands the needs of kinship families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering our new grants service across London.
- Meeting performance targets and KPIs as directed.
- Working with kinship carers and their families across London to gather information to complete and submit grant applications.
- Administering grants we secure for our kinship carers and carry out all the necessary administration related to grants.
- Undertaking research to identify funders and build excellent relationships with local grant making charities in order to increase support for kinship families.
- Delivering grant workshops at peer support groups sharing information about locally available grants and providing advice and support on making a successful application.
- Running face-to-face grant clinics within peer support groups or community venues in London, working directly with kinship carers to write and submit requests for grants.
Essential criteria includes:
- Experience of speaking to vulnerable people on the telephone, face-to-face and online, and gathering information with empathy and understanding.
- Experience of working with socially excluded or marginalised people and their families in face-to-face and community settings.
- Experience of running online and face-to-face workshops.
- An understanding of budgeting, managing money, income and expenditure.
- Proven understanding of the importance of confidentiality and a non-judgmental approach.
- Evidence of awareness of safeguarding issues and good practice.
- Experience of organising and prioritising a busy workload without close supervision.
- Proven clear understanding of the need to keep grants records and communication with kinship carers and funders up to date.
- Excellent research and writing skills.

To raise voluntary income from a range of Grantmakers including Trusts, Foundations and local Government grant funders contributing to an overall team target of £1-million. Working effectively within the team unit and across the organisation you will meet individual targets through building excellent relationships with funders, leading to more young people reached by Eikon’s services.
Responsibilities:
Income generation
· Raise voluntary unrestricted and restricted income through submission of high-quality proposals (60% of time)
· Lead on developing the portfolio of funders, joining external networks, seeking out leads from internal staff/ trustees and developing intelligence on potential funders.
· Provide support as requested for significant strategic opportunities to support the Grants & Partnerships Lead.
· Develop an effective approach for raising unrestricting income.
· Work to agreed metrices including an annual target of £120,000-£150,000/year (exact target will be dependent on working hours agreed and level of experience), a set number of bids and reports submitted monthly, number of multi-year commitments and lifetime value of grants (to be agreed).
Target Audience:
Portfolio to include Surrey and Regional based funders including trusts, foundations and local government grant funders. Some of these will be existing, and some to be identified.
Account Management:
· Provide excellent account management to grant funders.
· Optimise funding potential and retention of funders through quality and timely reports, regular communication including meetings, and through building excellent relationships.
· Thinking creatively, working with colleagues organise own events/opportunities to increase engagement of funders e.g. project visit, garden open day
· Identify other funding opportunities through relationships, for example for Major Donors, Corporate partnerships and Individual Givers.
· Lead on administration for all designated grants including thank you letters, updating Donorfy and sharing info/updates across the team (comprising approximately 15% of the time).
Internal Reporting:
· Manage accurate and up to date pipeline information on Donorfy, being able to pull reports for information and analysis including:
o Provision of data and narrative for monthly team meetings
o Contribution to Board reporting with narrative and pipeline information
o Analysis for annual planning sessions
Quality and standards:
· Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.
· Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.
· Prepare relevant Grant Agreements and contractual information.
· Carry out risk assessments for all activities for which you are responsible.
· Carry out required basic due diligence on new funders.
Finance and resources:
· Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.
Communications and relationships:
· Support and liaise with the Marketing Communications Coordinator to deliver relevant and effective content and materials.
· Proactively increase social media activity through provision of content and encouragement of funders to engage.
Strategy/transformation work:
· Contribute to Engagement and Services Team’s annual plans and budgets and the Grants high level strategy.
· Provide coordination and organisation of internal team planning meetings and workshop, including timings, agenda items and preparation of meeting/workshop materials.
Organisational requirements:

Key Responsibilities
Oversight of Spear Programme
- Lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education.
Partnership liaison and relationship management
- Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective.
- Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.
Line Management and training
- Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
- Be line managed by Resurgo to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPIs.
Church Community
- The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by The Mount, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community.
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
- Ensure the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services.
Site management and set-up
- Work with the Church to set up the training room and IT infrastructure for the new Spear Centre in advance of opening.
- Liaise with relevant staff locally on-site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies..
- Other ad hoc church responsibilities from time to time.

The Human Resources department provides a strategic and operational HR service to the seven National Church Institutions (NCIs) and the 42 Diocesan Bishops' offices. Our HR Operations team focusses on the entire employee lifecycle providing support, advice and guidance to senior leaders, line managers and staff. The Organisational Development team lead on culture, values, wellbeing, development and our belonging & inclusion strategy. Through our External Service team, we also offer HR support on a consultancy basis to other Church of England organisations including our dioceses and cathedrals.
