About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans to engage and empower schools and the local community of South Tyneside, to deliver school streets and identify ways in which their neighbourhoods can be made better places for all.
As the project officer, you will deliver activities in a variety of settings, including classrooms and assemblies, to develop children and young people's understanding of the benefits of active travel. You will also work alongside local authorities and other organizations collaboratively on the project. Supporting schools and community champions and harnessing local authority resources to make links between schools and communities. Sharing best School Street practice and reporting back experiences with the rest of the Sustrans School Streets team.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have experience of working with children and young people, and delivering community led projects. You will deliver physical activity and other behaviour change projects.
You will have good report writing and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize your own workload and function on your own initiative limited supervision.

The aim of the project is to assess the individual over a 12-week period with the aim of identifying their support and housing needs. In that period, we will provide a bed for the customer to assist staff to carry out a detailed assessment to ensure that the recommendation for move on into alternative housing is captured correctly to assist move on for the individual into more suitable accommodation which is correct reflective of their needs based on our assessment/recommendation.
The service operates a model of personalised approach in order to address a wide range of presenting complex needs, which could range from mild learning difficulties, substance use (alcohol and drugs), offending, mental health, dual diagnoses, etc. We work closely with outside agencies in order to ensure that the individual is linked into getting the correct support whilst they remain at the assessment centre.
A major part of the Assessment Support Workers role is putting in the foundation with our customers around basic living skills and preparing the individual to be ready to move into alternative supported accommodation.
This role requires a valid Right to Work for the UK as Look Ahead are not a sponsoring organisation.
What you'll do:
Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs including support needs and daily living skills. This would include potential risks and an assessment of the customers independent living skills as a whole.
The initial and co-produced assessment will incorporate models of co-production, observation, and person-centred planning. This is with a view that it is solution focused as to provide a framework for progression towards independent living.
Liaise with partner agencies regarding the assessment process seeking advice and guidance as to specialist input and clinical input as part of multi-disciplinary assessment process.
Create support/ action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.
Empower customers to be part of the local community and active participants in the local community as part of a Recovery Capital model.
Liaise with partner agencies regarding making referrals where an unmet need has been identified via the multi-agency assessment.
Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible.
Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks as past of the assessment of daily living skills, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation.
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community.
Co produce In Reach services at the Assessment Centre so that we are able to action plan jointly with partner agencies and feed into any action plans in regard to customers support needs e.g. Substance Misuse treatment plans
Attend training and workshops that are delivered via partner agencies were possible to provide a through and up to date assessment.
Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to, including assessment and support of budgeting and debt management to garner their tenancy readiness.
Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards.
Adhere to Look Ahead's Policies and Procedures
Engage in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills.
Provide day-to-day instruction of domestic staff/Personal Support Assistants where appropriate.
Undertake any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as may be reasonably assigned.

About the role
This is a senior role working across the whole Charity, tasked with growing public awareness and support for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. You will be supporting volunteers and the the local communities to take positive environmental actions in the form of gardening organically, home composting, waste reduction and supporting biodiversity.
As a Senior Project Coordinator you will work collaboratively and proactively with project colleagues, stakeholders and volunteers. You will identify new partnership and delivery opportunities based on local community and project needs. This role will be based out of our head office at Ryton but you will be building many new relationships, so expect to be out and about locally.
You will work with other senior project coordinators and department leads to ensure that support for all our volunteers exceeds expectation, and our community projects are delivered to an excellent standard. You will contribute to and where appropriate oversee the development of project related resources.
You will support and deliver events and activities by enlisting volunteers and ensuring that they have the guidance and materials they need.
You will deliver workshops and training on topics core to the principles of organic gardening including home composting, waste reduction, and biodiversity, for a variety of audiences.
Evaluation of project impact is paramount for the charity and its commissioners, so you will work with volunteers to collate written feedback and produce detailed reports as required. Your written feedback will require analysis and evidence of the expected or actual impact of your, and your associated volunteers, work.

Responsibilities & Main Duties:
Project Management/Coordination
- Work effectively with project colleagues internally and externally.
- Project lead for our work in Rugby
- Providing day to day support for volunteers in Rugby.
- Provide line management for at least one of our project coordinators in the Midlands.

As a trusted member of our senior leadership team you will be driving impact for the more than 4,000 people we work with each year by:

The role will be based in our office in Eastcote for 3 days per week, with the possibility for home working for the remainder of the time.

Job Summary
CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.
As Director of Services, you will work closely with the CEO, leading on the management of the Adult Services, Youth Services and Family Services workstreams within the charity, ensuring the high quality service provision for which we are known. The role sits within the senior leadership team at CAAS, alongside the Finance Director, and manages the Youth Services Manager, the Family Services Manager and the Adult Services Manager, who in turn manage around 20 staff between them.
The Director of Services provides a crucial role in ensuring the infrastructure and operational workings of the charity are effective for the more than 30 staff we employ, and the more than 11,000 instances of support we provide each year. Therefore, we are looking for a capable, calm, self-motivated, organised and hard-working Services professional who has worked in a management role directly responsible for service delivery in another charity.
The role requires strong organisation skills, excellent communication and relationship building skills, significant experience of operational service delivery, team leadership experience, the ability to articulate and drive our impact, and a good understanding of fundraising and monitoring requirements in a medium sized charity. Ultimately you will have the drive to ensure that everyone who works for us, and everyone who seeks support from us, has the best possible experience.
There is no requirement for any experience of delivering services that support ADHD / autistic individuals, as we will provide training, but it would be helpful to have a good understanding of the conditions, and the strengths and challenges they may bring. A genuine acceptance of diversity and a keenness to make an impact are essential.
Key Responsibilities – Strategic and Organisational
· To lead in the development and implementation of CAAS strategy in our work with service users, ensuring that all our services have a thoughtful strategic underpinning, and a measurable and significant positive impact for our clients. Represent the needs of our clients in strategic and planning decisions.
· To work with the CEO to understand the organisational risks facing the charity within the service provision it provides, and to develop and implement the necessary mitigations
· To be the designated safeguarding lead in the charity and ensure our safeguarding procedures, practices and policies are fit for purpose.
· Develop, review, and communicate safeguarding and client risk management policies, procedures and controls, and ensure mitigations and improvement plans are in place for any control weaknesses identified.
· Own our organisational equity, diversity and inclusion policy and practice, and ensure it is truly embedded within our organisation so that we can extend our reach to include those under-served clients who may not always have been able to access our services. To ensure in our communications, in our practice and in our culture that we are truly inclusive, and make accommodations so that all how need us can access us.
· Prepare and present service department reports and reviews for the Board of Trustees, and build up effective relationships with the Board so that our services and the client whom we serve have a ‘voice’ in Board meetings.
Key Responsibilities – Impact
· To work collaboratively with the CEO to develop and deliver clear methods of measuring the impact of services, and an appropriate Theory of Change model for our work, and use this information to continuously improve and articulate our service development.
· To develop and monitor a framework of key performance indicator targets and standards, to ensure all service managers are able to effectively appraise and improve where appropriate the service standards within their division.
· Evaluate the operational dashboards and reporting mechanisms to ensure trends are quickly identified and necessary changes put in place.
· To work with the communications team to maximize opportunities to ensure our services reach as many people as possible, as efficiently as possible and in a way that is appropriate within our branding guidelines.
· To provide impact data such that we can demonstrate to a wide audience the quality of the work that we perform, and the lasting impact that we have on those we reach
· Lead the Services Department in ensuring all projects are clearly documented, managed, reviewed and evaluated, and ensure a rolling programme of self-assessment and improvement is in place.
Key Responsibilities – Operational Management
· Manage the provision of high-quality services, in accordance with funder requirements and service specifications by leading and managing the Service Managers and by providing the necessary support and development in their roles. To be responsible for the support, management and development of all service staff, volunteers and freelancers.
· To support the Service Managers and the Head of Client Programmes with the planning and mobilisation of projects and contracts, ensuring services are delivered in line with funder requirements and timings. Have a willingness to ‘get into the detail’ as well as to provide more strategic leadership and direction within the delivery teams.

You will promote and raise awareness of CRP online across multiple platforms, develop the CRP brand, lead on communications, and assist with promoting ReColour remanufactured paint. You will work with community organisations, paint manufacturers, retailers, businesses, decorators, and housing associations across the UK to increase the supply and distribution of surplus paint into the network and onto walls in local communities. An important aspect of the role is to develop and secure new schemes to join the network and find creative ways of encouraging paint reuse.
What you will be doing
Line managed by the Network Manager, you will have their support and guidance, to deliver the following;
Supporting the CRP network
- Proactively engage and respond to scheme enquiries, providing excellent customer service through email, phone, and social media accounts, troubleshooting to find quick and helpful solutions.
- Provide support and advice to all schemes, sharing relevant information and resources, and assisting with operational issues.
- Improve the ‘networking’ element of existing schemes, to increase the number of network functions and opportunities.

THE ROLE
The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and executing all fundraising activities and initiatives. The Migraine Trust is the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research, and has been leading and bringing the migraine community together since 1965. One in seven people in the UK live with migraine. This complex and debilitating neurological disorder can significantly affect many aspects of life including work, school, personal relationships, and feelings of isolation.
Every year over two million people visit The Migraine Trust website for the most up to date information, and thousands contact the helplines for information and support on all aspects of migraine. The Migraine Trust campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, better access to treatment, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it.
The Information Manager will coordinate and develop a range of health information needed by the migraine community and people living with migraine to raise awareness to both members of the public and health care professionals. The role is also responsible for ensuring the information on the website is up to date and coordinating and managing Patient Information Forum renewals.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and maintain quality health information: You will manage and update health information, scope, plan, and create new content in consultation with stakeholders, and identify target groups to produce materials to meet their needs. You will work within the Information and Support team constantly communicating with colleagues working on front line services to ensure the information being produced is in line with service users needs. You will also be responsible for managing the organisations PIF processes and assessments.
- Engage with the migraine community: You will hold focus groups to understand information needs, build strategic partnerships to disseminate information effectively, and support staff learning and knowledge-building about migraine.
- Support communication and dissemination: You will work with the Communications team to create accessible information formats, provide content for videos, blogs, and other communication channels and regularly monitor and report on the impact of information provision.

THE ROLE
This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. There is a small team of 3 based in the North East. THE ROLE
The Fundraising Officer/s will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and executing all fundraising activities and initiatives. The role requires the development and implementation of strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in alignment with Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy. This position involves engaging with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to secure financial support for Islamic Help’s life-saving projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration with the Fundraising Manager/Head of Fundraising, to identify specific programmes and funding priorities, and organise targeted fundraising campaigns.
- Monitor donor funding trends and priorities and communicate this information to the Fundraising Manager/Head of Fundraising to ensure alignment with Islamic Help’s objectives.
- Plan and co-ordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives such as tours, treks, lectures, and dinners.
- Recruit, engage, and train volunteers to support fundraising activities and events.
- Track, monitor, and process pledges made by colleagues at events, ensuring records are regularly updated.
- Monitor online donations and activities, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring relevant departments and donors are informed.
- Create promotional materials to support fundraising activities, including merchandise, banners, and other marketing collateral.
- Identify local, national, and international funding opportunities, and contribute to the development of Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy.
- Manage fundraising income by maintaining reports, tracking donations, and handling donor correspondence, and evaluate the success of fundraising activities.

Hounslow Young People is Supported Accommodation Service for young people and young parents aged 16-25 in Hounslow. The Service encompasses a mix of units across six sites supporting 57 vulnerable young people and 19 teen parents.
The aim of the service is to empower Young People to move towards independent living, supporting their successful transition from childhood; laying the foundations for healthy, ambitious, and safe adult lives with minimal ongoing support. We are recruiting for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our dynamic service and team. In the role of Waking Night Support Worker; individuals will ensure continues support is provided to young people at the standards of day staff with particular focus on safety of vulnerable young people.
About the Role
Waking Night Support Worker will work in line with person centred risk assessments; support plans and liaises with Support Workers to provide comprehensive handover and partnership working. They will be observant of changes in behaviour and presentations ensuring appropriate actions are taken to document and report changes in support needs of young people.
Waking Night Support Worker will be able to carry out all necessary health and safety actions including light cleaning tasks and work with in policies and procedures. Furthermore they will actively seek out ways to work with the team and stakeholders to improve the experience of young people in the service.
The role requires some flexibility as the post holder will be required to work on a rota pattern including weekend shifts. The shift hours are 21:30 - 07:30.
