The Role
As a SEN Teacher (Autism), you will teach within our secondary provision, working with the Adventurers and Pioneers cohort.
Inscape House School is a non-maintained ASC specialist day school for children and young people aged 5 to 19 years. It is part of Together Trust, a charity that has been providing care, education, and support across the Northwest of England since 1870.

Grade 3 starting salary £34, 653.00 with biennial increments

Key responsibilities include but are not exhaustive;
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect considering pupils’ sensory needs.
- Adapt the teaching of the National Curriculum to meet the varying learning needs of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

- To address underperformance issues as soon as they arise with EAs completing the necessary paperwork and informing Deputy Head. Persistent issues to be addressed jointly with Deputy Head
- If secondary trained, have a secure knowledge of the Entry Level, Functional Skills and GCSE subject specific curricula
- Demonstrate an understanding of and take responsibility for promoting high standards of literacy, articulacy, and the correct use of Standard English.
- Create numerous opportunities for pupils to communicate and socially interact with peers and unfamiliar people within a supportive environment.
- Use the Autism Education Trust (AET) framework to measure autism-specific areas of progress.
- Employ appropriate proactive, active and reactive strategies to manage behaviours of concern.
- Demonstrate skill in communicating with pupils with autism and a range of physical, cognitive, and communication difficulties.
- Deliver training in your subject area at the request of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Review and reflect on your own practice and performance through formal and informal observation feedback of teaching, learning and assessment; responding to advice and feedback from colleagues; effective use of professional development reviews.
About you;
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Evidence of recent relevant professional development
- Experience of working with with children who have autism and communication difficulties, ADND, mental health and or sensory processing issues
- The ability to work effectively and co- operatively with colleagues within a staff team
- Excellent knowledge of the curriculum including where appropriate, Entry level, functional skills and GCSE qualifications
- Knowledge of approaches/methodologies that can support children with autism e.g. TEACCH, attention autism and SPELL
- Knowledge and understanding of the National curriculum and the demands it places on children with additional needs
- Ability to cope with children pupils who present with behaviour of concern
- Knowledge of health and safety expectations affecting children and adults across the school

Role Overview
The Senior Fundraising Officer will manage and deliver all fundraising activities for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, securing general and restricted funds from a range of sources including small and medium charitable Trusts and Foundations, government departments, corporate partners, organisations with CSR programs and potentially individuals, and support the delivery of the integrated fundraising strategy for the Trust, ensuring continued growth over the next three years and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research prospective funders, doors and sponsors and work closely with senior management, and colleagues in the Operations, Policy & Campaigning, and Finance teams to develop effective cases for support.
- Research and approach prospective funders that are either completely or partially aligned with the work of the Trust and determine if applications can be made.
- Manage the process of raising unrestricted funds through letters or online applicaitions to smaller Trusts or CSR funds, ensuring outcomes and feedback received is captured on the CRM and the annual fundraising plan.
- Write funding bids, proposals and applications forms, effectively communicating the work and impact of the Trust with existing and potential new funders.
- Oversee grant stewardship to best manage existing relationships and pave the way for repeat or new funding.
- Develop and grow the supporter base, working closely with the Trust senior management team to increase support from other organisations at grass-roots level.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and partner agencies to ensure correct data is captured on funded activities and captured on the CRM.
- Manage funder reports by working with report-owners across different teams to maintain timely, accurate and detailed report submissions, in accordance with terms of grants held.
- Manage, maintain and present the rollover fundraising plan at bi-weekly team meetings, ensuring all approaches and applications are captured on this plan, as well as the CRM.
Special Requirements
- This role is hybrid, initially requiring on-site attendance at our London office until the successful completion of the first probation review (typically 3 months).

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust Team Members, this is an exciting role leading on the delivery and development of creative and exciting literacy initiatives and an ambitious Reading Strategy at HMP Stoke Heath, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role is subject to contract award and will be prison-based.

About the Role
The Head of Fundraising will be a key member of our Senior Management Team (SMT) and take ownership of our Fundraising Strategy to support the diversification of our income. Strategy and Leadership
- Lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy in line with our current organisational strategy which runs from 2024-2029.
- Lead on the management of key information about Get Further’s fundraising activity and ensure it is stored appropriately, well organised and with high attention to detail. This will include supporting the transition of the fundraising function onto Salesforce.
- Prepare fundraising update reports for the Finance and Risk Committee and the Board of Trustees as required.

Fundraising and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead the core fundraising activities, including line managing our Fundraising Officer. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of existing and potential supporters to provide tailored relationship management, including engagement opportunities, to meet significant targets over multiple years.
- Support the Fundraising Officer to identify new prospects, in particular, charitable trusts and foundations that have the potential to support Get Further for the first time. You will effectively qualify and engage with prospects to build a pipeline for the coming years, matching prospects with appropriate asks.
- Oversee and write compelling applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support with help more young people achieve their gateway qualifications.
- Lead on ensuring all supporters and donors receive updates and reports within the required timeframes and that these are crafted with impact data and case studies to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement.
Team Management and Collaboration
- Provide effective line management of our Fundraising Officer to support their personal development and successful delivery of their role.
- Work closely with the COO to develop budgets to accompany applications and provide financial reports to funders and partners.
- Work closely with the Impact Team to develop efficient processes for impact reporting to funders.
- Support the COO to ensure that policies relating to fundraising are up to date and fit for purpose.

The Kenelm Youth Trust is looking to recruit a Centre Manager for Alton Castle and the Soli Centre.

Outward Housing Department provides housing management aimed at sustaining vulnerable people in their tenancies and assisting people to move on from short term services. We work with a number of registered housing providers and in conjunction with our Group partner Newlon Housing Trust to provide housing management to their supported housing homes.
As a Tenancy Management Officer you will be expected to ensure that a comprehensive, sensitive and efficient housing management service is delivered to our tenants. You will have the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external partners, experience of providing a supported housing service to vulnerable tenants and a commitment to sustaining tenancies wherever possible.
You will also be able to effectively manage tenancy breaches including Anti-Social Behaviour, assess the suitability of new referrals, carry out property inspections and manage the voids process, monitor rent accounts and work with Income Management Team to ensure that rent arrears are kept to a minimum. The successful candidates will also have excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
This role is available as a full time post of 38 hours per week.

The Community Forest Trust (CFT) is a charity that supports, enables and champions England’s Community Forests (ECFs). In 2024/2025 they will plant over 2.5 million trees, most of which are funded through Defra’s national tree planting programme, the Nature for Climate Fund Programme.
The Managing Director will have the drive, rigour, and organisational and stakeholder management skills to develop and deliver a new CFT Business Plan. The current Business Plan was developed in 2022 and runs to March 2025. It has now been delivered.
The Managing Director will be responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of CFT and ensure effective governance and compliance with all legal requirements. To fulfil this aim, the Managing Director must ensure that robust structures and systems are in place to deliver CFT’s strategic priorities and CFT’s charitable aims and objectives.

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of complex database extracts from Raiser’s Edge using FastStats, ensuring all data selections are delivered to a high standard for communications to Blind Veteran UK supporters. This includes ensuring data selections are scheduled, developed, tested and checked, and delivered in accordance with the agreed brief and deadlines. The critical element to this role is developing a campaign planning process that embeds a test and learn culture and drives innovation and improvement in our communications.
You will work with the Insight Manager and wider Engagement (fundraising and Comms & Marketing) Team to implement journeys and automations to improve second gift rates and drive sustainable income.
As well as leading on data selections, you will manage the insight planning and request project boards, working with the Insight Manager to respond to both ad-hoc insight requests and longer term insight projects.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role - what you'll be doing:

The welfare rights adviser & triage officer will report to the welfare rights supervisor.
Welfare and benefits casework (approximately 50% of the role) and Triage officer (approximately 50% of the role).
In this role, you will triage all referrals we get into the Support hub and take a small number on as casework.
You will be supporting people affected by long term health issues with financial challenges, supporting with benefit and housing advice, and referring on for further support where appropriate.

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities: -

Triaging:

· To provide advice and support on welfare benefits, housing matters (that do not require a solicitor), and non-FCA regulated debts.
· To check whether clients are in receipt of all the benefits they are entitled to and help them claim relevant benefits.
· To help clients understand benefit decisions and challenge them (where appropriate) by way of mandatory reconsiderations and appeals.
· To help clients ensure they keep to their responsibilities in respect of their benefit claims, for example by notifying any relevant changes of circumstances.
· To refer or signpost clients to other agencies or departments as appropriate, e.g., housing solicitors; community care cases involving social services and NHS duties, FCA-regulated debt and immigration services.

About this role
We are looking for an engaging and dynamic fundraising specialist and team player with a proven track record of income generation through trusts and foundations, to take on this exciting new role at this exciting point of our organisational growth.
Over the last two years, EduSpots has significantly grown its income through trusts and foundations, and advanced the quality, scope and reach of its operations in Ghana, with further plans for expansion in the years ahead. We are looking for an individual that understands the value of community-led change, with all our work centred on, and resulting from the actions of 400 locally-based educational Catalysts.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take on the responsibility for growing our income generation with a focus on trusts and foundations. We are looking for an experienced individual, who is able to work closely with the CEO to develop larger fundraising partnerships at this exciting point in our development.
Depending on availability and experience, this individual may oversee a small part-time fundraising team, comprising a Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, and Communications Manager, alongside interns and other income-generation roles that may emerge. - Work with the CEO and boards to identify potential new supporters through their networks, also taking an active role in networking to position EduSpots within key audiences for potential support.
- Work with the CEO and Communications Manager to develop a compelling case for support and a suite of materials for donor engagement that can showcase the importance of EduSpots’ work internationally.
- Create bespoke stewardship plans for existing donors that demonstrate the impact of their support, foster mutual trust and secure renewed support for EduSpots’ work.
- Oversee the organization of EduSpots’ relationships with trusts and foundations, and other major donors, including oversight of reporting, database management and wider communication, working closely with the CEO.
- Monitor and analyse philanthropic trends and best practices to enhance fundraising effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with international fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
- Depending on experience and time availability, manage and mentor a team of fundraising professionals to achieve targets and organisational objectives. This includes an experienced trusts and foundations manager (1 day a week) with a focus on small-medium UK based family trusts, and wider community fundraising and communications roles in the team.

- To contribute to the Charity’s fundraising and other strategies, as well as supporting the development of the annual business plan and budget, and assisting with the preparation of Annual Report and supporting the wider team with professional development.
- Ensure all administrative tasks relating to the role are carried out accurately.
- To comply at all times with the organisation’s policies, procedures and performance expectations of staff as set out in the Staff and Catalysts Handbook.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required under the role.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
Essential
- Proven track record of income generation – ideally in a similar education / international development organisation.
- Extensive experience with writing compelling and successful grant applications, with a focus on 5 to 6 figures (GBP) in size.
- Experience of establishing and managing effective relationships with trusts, foundations and grant-makers, and reporting to funds and donors, with strong database management.
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of UK-based funders, as well as of some international (European / US based) funders.
- Strong understanding of programme development and management, ideally in the education context.
- Some experience of communications and marketing in an NGO context is needed; experience of wider fundraising such as corporate partnerships, individual giving and campaigns may be an advantage but is not a requirement for this role.
- Friendly and flexible team player, with an ability to work with people across diverse contexts, inspiring the team and wider colleagues towards achieving our shared goals.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote based role with minimal day-to-day support
- Outstanding interpersonal skills alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advocate for our work online and in person.
- Experience of managing a team would be advantageous though not required for this role.
- Ability to use own initiative and work to tight and competing deadlines
