About us
Who we are
Together Trust is a charity providing special education, residential services, fostering, family support and community services.
We support more than 3,700 vulnerable young people and adults across the North West including Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire and Lancashire each year.
We believe everyone deserves an equal chance in life. There are no exceptions.
We have expert staff who support individuals with emotional, behavioural or social difficulties, physical and learning disabilities or autistic spectrum conditions.
Our culture and values
Our vision is a society where people thrive because they are valued within their communities.
For over 150 years, we’ve been championing and caring for people with disabilities, autism and complex health needs, as well as providing life-changing support for care-experienced people.
In today’s complex social care landscape, our strategy remains simple – to shape our services to fit the people we support. Whether you’ve been navigating social care for some time or you’re new to this, we’re here to help.
Our values shape the way we work. We are:
Positive - We take pride in celebrating the difference we make
Professional - We act in a fair and respectable way that recognises our collective expertise
Passionate - We encourage creative ideas and inspire one another
Supportive - We are considerate and caring towards one another
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
EDI is embedded in everything we do - We live by our values and aim to create equitable opportunities, celebrate diversity and build an inclusive culture of togetherness for the people we support, our governance and workforce.
We are building safe spaces for sharing and listening to lived experiences so we can create equitable opportunities, celebrate diversity, and build an inclusive culture of togetherness at the annual calendar of events Together Trust.
Our staff engage in life at the Trust and have access to multiple EDI networks: New Horizon; Disability and Neurodiversity Action Group; Women Together; Proud Together.
