The Legal Adviser will support the Head of Legal and work across a broad range of matters. About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Outreach Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of outreach strategies aimed at increasing the participation of UK-based companies in the UN Global Compact. You will work closely with our programme teams to ensure outreach efforts are integrated and aligned with the Network's activities.
The role involves ensuring we have an effective and efficient prospect pipeline that includes targeted outreach and a follow-up strategy. This includes managing third-party engagement opportunities, running outreach marketing campaigns, and aligning with the impact goals of the UN Global Compact Network UK - ensuring our value proposition is understood and creatively communicated within the business community.
It is also highly desirable that the chosen candidate has strong organisational skills to efficiently manage multiple activities simultaneously, including prospect calls, marketing campaigns, co-organising B2B webinars and events, preparing growth reports, and ensuring timely Salesforce updates.
The Senior Outreach Manager will report to the Head of Impact & Growth. We offer a flexible hybrid working environment, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
Who we are looking for:

In your first 6 months:
To help you settle quickly, we will provide a thorough and comprehensive onboarding. Through meetings with key colleagues and online training, we will help you to become familiar with our way of working and our value proposition.
Key Responsibilities - after onboarding, we will expect you to:
- Develop and lead the 2025 growth and marketing plan, including creating marketing emails and social media content to engage prospective members. This would also include driving engagement and partnership with third parties, business associations and chambers of commerce to secure speaking opportunities.
- Lead on a follow-up strategy to increase awareness of the UN Global Compact among prospects, aiming to secure and conduct introductory calls.
- Work with the Outreach Manager to ensure growth plans are executed efficiently. This role will initially include line managing the Outreach Manager for up to a year as part of a maternity cover. However, this is subject to change.

As Senior Workforce Development Manager, you will lead the programme management of the Centre of Excellence, playing a pivotal role in advancing its mission. Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Programme management:

• Developing and implementing a member engagement strategy, ensuring that institutions gain significant value from their involvement in the Centre of Excellence to include a recognition and awards programme to reward and celebrate members’ excellent practice and engagement with the Centre of Excellence.
• Providing strategic oversight to the enrolment and validation process for new members, ensuring that new institutions meet the Centre of Excellence’s standards, and work closely with the Network Member Manager to streamline onboarding, guaranteeing a positive initial experience that sets the stage for long-term involvement.
• Overseeing the tracking and evaluation of member engagement, using data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates on membership retention, engagement levels, and impact to leadership, and work with the Network Member Manager to develop strategies based on these insights.

3. Workforce Development:
The Senior Workforce Development Manager will lead a team of High Performance Skills Coaches to design, implement, and continuously improve a world-class teacher training programme. By incorporating global insights and innovative practices, this role ensures that the programme enhances teaching quality and raises educator capacity to deliver world-class education.
• Utilising insights from international benchmarking and emerging trends from global partners to incorporate cutting-edge methodologies and world-class standards into the teacher training programme.
• Leading a team of Skills Coaches to guide the development and delivery of high impact teacher training experiences, focusing on practical and solutions focussed strategies underpinned by international best practice that improve teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Overseeing the planning and scheduling of training activities to align with the academic calendar, ensuring that sessions are well-timed and accessible to educators throughout the year. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to promote training opportunities, generate demand, and expand programme reach, actively engaging member institutions and their teaching staff.
• Establishing robust tracking and evaluation systems to monitor programme outcomes, using data to measure the effectiveness of training content and delivery. This role is office based (as above) but with flexible hybrid working. It is expected the postholder will attend the office at least once or twice a week.

The Charity Communications Executive is an integral part of the RLSS UK communications team, within the Charity Directorate, with responsibility for supporting the delivery of objectives relating to the strategic framework. Specifically in the aspects of supporting building the RLSS UK brand and reach though multi-channel communications, including media engagement and PR, developing ways in which we engage with and educate communities.
The role will work in line with one of our key strategic pillars: ‘Building our Community’, across the UK and Ireland. This is a pivotal role, working closely with the Charity Communications Team, to lead our PR and brand as well as looking to drive membership and fundraising through communications.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications/Marketing
- Work collaboratively with the charity communication and marketing department with national campaigns to raise brand awareness and deliver vital water safety messages.
- Lead the organisation’s public relations; managing our media function including writing press releases, responding to and managing media calls, requests, and enquires, as well as briefing spokespeople for media appearances.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on marketing communication performance to the Charity Communications Manager.
- Work with agencies, where appropriate, to ensure they are achieving specification and are delivering ROI.
- Ensuring that the RLSS UK brand is consistent, used correctly and is enticing and familiar to the public.
Membership Communications
- Manage the process, from conception to delivery, of the organisation’s staple membership communication, Lifesavers magazine, on a bi-annual basis. This includes –
- Project planning (including budgets, deadlines, relationship management etc)
- Content writing and creation
- Cross-departmental working to ensure content from relevant parties is received and collated effectively
- Editing and proofreading
- Supplier management, to ensure successful distribution
General

AMU has responsibility for identifying, securing and managing all funding from government donors for the IRC. AMU is a bridge between donors and the IRC’s work on the ground. The Purpose of the Role
The Senior Advisor, FCDO Donor Engagement will lead, guide and coordinate IRC’s funding focused engagement with UK Government’s Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The post holder will provide an internal and external “account management” function to support engagement with these donors. The role is responsible for providing expertise and leadership on donor relations. It will work closely with technical and proposal development teams who will provide the operational BD capacity to secure significant growth in its funding portfolio from the UK Government and to protect IRC’s funding share, through influential engagement around policy shifts, working in close collaboration with Policy & Solutions as well as Advocacy & Influence.

Senior UK Policy Adviser (Early Education)
Circa £48,000 per annum (pro-rata)

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as our Senior UK Policy Adviser (Early Education).
As a member of the UK Policy and Advocacy team this role will be responsible for leading our policy work focusing on early childhood education, with a particular focus on the home learning environment and developing primary research engaging with very young children. Working closely with colleagues across the Advocacy and Programmes Departments, the role will be expected to develop and deliver an effective influencing strategy, based on robust evidence and persuasive policy asks that help support the cognitive, social and emotional development of babies and young children living in the UK. You’ll be joining at an exciting time for our team as we adapt our Early Moments Matter Campaign to the context of influencing and engaging with a new Government.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have an in-depth understanding of policy-making processes and how to develop effective influencing strategies, excellent research and writing skills and a good understanding of the policy context of early childhood education and/or other UK child wellbeing topic area.

You will be the organisation’s lead policy expert on international development policy and development finance. As part of the role, you will develop compelling policy analysis and set the strategic direction for advocacy on these areas, as part of UNICEF UK’s wider campaign strategies. You will need to collaborate with colleagues across the Advocacy department and UNICEF UK to deliver compelling and impactful advocacy targeted towards the UK Government.
