Position: Media Manager
Location: Remote with flexible working (with occasional visits to the Warwick and London offices and other locations nationally, when required)
Salary: £44,000 - 47,500 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week) – two hours wellbeing time, 9 - 11am on Friday mornings

The Role
The Media Manager plays a central role at our charity, working closely with the Head of Media and Media Officer to manage the public relations function. You will be responsible for helping to develop and execute national and regional media campaigns to help people better understand our mission and motivate support.
The role is a hybrid of office and home working, requiring occasional meetings in the midlands and/or London. The frequency and location of meetings can be flexible, depending on the location and preferences of the successful candidate.
Main duties include:
• Generate regular, positive, proactive and reactive media coverage for the charity
• Proactively sell stories into the media as well as react to incoming enquiries
• Work with the Head of Media to develop and deliver impactful PR strategies
• Manage, develop and support the Media and Communications Officer
• Gather new NHS staff, member and supporter case studies
• Identify and develop high quality media pitches
• Build positive working relationships with target journalists
• Monitor and evaluate media coverage
• Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the issues affecting the NHS
• Support liaison with DHSC and other stakeholder relationships
About You
You will have experience of leading successful media relations strategies, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be creative and passionate about delivering impactful work, with the ability to be highly organised and manage your own workload.
You will have experience of:
• Developing and implementing media strategies for a high-profile organisation.
• Successfully pitching to and building relationships with national, regional and sector journalists.
• Reactive media management for an organisation in the public eye.

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our team, to steward existing partnerships and grow new connections, especially with those in the legal sector. As well as running our Guardians’ network, you’ll arrange key supporter events and develop bespoke partnerships.
It’s a busy role and you’ll be supported by an assistant and a close working fundraising team. You’ll also be able to build on the firm foundations we already have in place.

Overall purpose of role
As the WeProtect Global Alliance Head of Strategy, you will lead a small team to build a global network, evidence base and policy portfolio to guide and drive the implementation of our Strategy and mission targets. Your team will provide high level analysis and ask critical questions, supporting the Alliance to identify immediate and emerging issues which may require investigation or exploration, support the Policy Board, Executive Team, Head of Members and Head of Development to navigate key strategic decisions.
You will also work closely with the Head of Members and Head of Development to support the development of new ways of working to harness Alliance members and broader community of practice to understand our collective impact and ensure our secretariat, members and broader organization actively remain relevant and focused on delivering our mission and strategic objectives.
You will lead the WeProtect Global Alliance Research and Policy work, with key accountability for the following outcomes:
· Work with the Executive Team and Policy Board to implement the existing WeProtect Global Alliance strategy and ensure the forthcoming strategy remains targeted and focused on achieving the Alliance’s global ambition.

As the WeProtect Global Alliance Head of Members, you will grow and lead our capability and capacity to harness and grow our global alliance network to guide and drive the implementation of our Strategy and mission targets. About the role
As one of two Regional Programmes Manager, you’ll inspire and lead a team of Senior Programmes Officers and Kinship Family Workers to effectively deliver high quality support services for kinship families across Greater London, the South of England and the Midlands.

About Leeds Baby Bank
At Leeds Baby Bank our mission is to ensure no child goes without. We support families in Leeds, with children aged 0-5 years, who are experiencing poverty. We provide families with all the essentials and equipment they need for their babies and young children. This includes bed bundles, nappies and toiletries, baby baths, potties, highchairs, prams and buggies, clothes and shoes, toys and books.
Families are referred to Leeds Baby Bank by our professional referral partners. This includes midwives, health visitors and social workers. Here we provide signposting and advice as well as essential items for young families.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of Leeds Baby Bank’s strategic plan.
- Develop and present an annual business plan and income and expenditure budget to deliver the strategic plan.
- Manage all operational activity of the charity in line with the business plan and budget, ensuring they are the central drivers of the charity’s work.
- Develop and maintain systems which monitor progress against the business plan and budget and provide regular reports to the Board of Trustees on progress against those plans.
- Create the annual Social Impact Report and share with key stakeholders and partners.
- Support the creation of the annual accounts reporting via QuickBooks.
- Ensure that the legal requirements of the Registered Charity are met and that all trustees, staff and volunteers are kept abreast of changes in relevant legislation and policy as appropriate.
- Responsible for the charity’s policies and procedures, leading on their implementation in the charity’s work and ensuring trustees, staff and volunteers are aware of their responsibilities.
- Review policies and procedures proactively and reactively as required, in line with the charity’s review procedures.
- Responsible for the charity’s day to day risk management procedures, this includes updating risk assessments, ensuring that ongoing risks are reported on and highlighting new risks to the Board of Trustees.
- Provide strong leadership, direction and management in all aspects of the charity’s work and represent the charity with stakeholders and publicly.
- Facilitate the continual development of the charity’s services by introducing new ideas, identifying new opportunities and increasing income.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.
The Head of Region provides strategic and operational leadership in the region, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the regional team and the successful development and delivery of the regional business plan and projects. The role drives the achievement of key performance indicators and targets with a particular focus on church income and community engagement.
Key relationships
Internally, the Head of Region works closely with the Director of Operations and other Heads of Region to support consistent operational delivery, and management and development of regional staff. The role also interacts closely with all other CCT teams including Conservation, Fundraising & Communication, Initiatives & Partnerships, and Finance.
Externally, the Head of Region is CCT’s regional representative, brokering joint working and engagement with statutory and Church of England stakeholders, funders, politicians at all levels, volunteers, communities and donors.
