THE ROLE

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for leading the London team’s overall fundraising strategy and activities. The role requires the postholder to motivate and support their team, and ensure regional and individual fundraising targets are met, in alignment with Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy. This position involves bringing new fundraising opportunities as well as enhancing relationships with existing supporters and donors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with Islamic Help’s objectives and growth plans.
• Identify and prioritise key fundraising programmes and initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising.
• Lead the fundraising team, providing direction, support, and professional development to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
• Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives such as tours, treks, lectures, and dinners.
• Innovate and introduce new fundraising approaches and techniques to enhance donor engagement and increase revenue.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and key stakeholders to secure funding and support.
• Develop tailored proposals and presentations for high-value donors and strategic partners.
• Ensure consistent communication and follow-up with donors, providing regular updates and impact reports.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment for volunteers, recognising and rewarding their contributions.
• Develop and manage the fundraising budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Maintain accurate records of fundraising income, pledges, and donor interactions.
• Prepare detailed reports on fundraising performance, including financial outcomes and impact metrics.
• Identify and establish local, national, and international partnerships for joint fundraising initiatives.
• Expand Islamic Help’s capabilities through strategic collaborations, increasing access to expertise, skills, and donor bases.
• Represent Islamic Help at various external events and meetings, acting as an ambassador for the organisation.
• Uphold and promote the values and mission of Islamic Help in all professional interactions.
• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Continuously improve fundraising processes and practices based on industry best practices and feedback.

Main purpose of the job

FearFree delivers services across the South West for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We provide responsive, victim focused and trauma informed support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

We are delighted to be recruiting for new specialist support workers for our holistic Behaviour Change services across Devon.

Working within experienced and committed teams, the Behaviour Change Advisor will:

· Complete specialist risk assessments (including Respect RIC) and develop personalised safety and support plans.

· Deliver one to one specialist behaviour change interventions.

· Co-facilitate short term and long term group work.

· Promote the service externally and ensure our interventions are accessible.

· Provide proactive, trauma informed and holistic support, with a focus on increasing victim safety and reducing the risk posed by a perpetrator.

· Work within a multi-agency framework to effect change, manage risk and ensure safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children is paramount.

· Offer professional consultancy, training and advice to other agencies on working with perpetrators.

· To work collaboratively with Partner Safety Workers to ensure the safety of the victim is held central.

There is a requirement for evening working – approximately once per week to deliver group work interventions.

FearFree is committed to hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based in either Exeter or Barnstaple, alongside requiring travel across the county for multi-agency meetings and to deliver group support. Occasional travel to our other offices may be required.

• To join the highly effective teams across FearFree to provide Behaviour Change support to perpetrators of domestic abuse.

About this key role

As our specialist worker you will provide peer supervisory support to the team within the wider hospital based services, which includes deputising for the Senior Caseworker, and supporting the Data Coordinator and Senior Caseworker with the collation of information and data for project monitoring purposes. We will also count on you to develop and maintain strong relationships with clinicians and hospital staff, while also identifying onward referral pathways with other services in the hospital such as CAMHS, IDVA, COMPASS and other statutory and voluntary sectors in the community.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will also help to identify and assess young victims of violence and to provide support, advice and advocacy for both them and their families as they plan to be discharged from hospital back into the community. You will produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments and deliver a holistic support service that includes practical help such as social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work, appearing in court, DIY work and cleaning.

What we are looking for

• Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families.
• Experience in working as part of a multi-agency team, working together to achieve positive outcomes for young people and establishing links to further the aims of a project.

Chuf supports heart Heroes and their families; “for hearts, for families for life”. They do this through supporting innovative research, providing equipment, facilities, and aftercare, and offering services to support both the physical and mental health.

About the role:

Chuf are looking for an Events Fundraiser to join their lovely collaborative fundraising team. You’ll work with the Director of Fundraising and Operations to develop their events strategy and offering and grow events fundraising to raise awareness and support for Chuf. You’ll plan and deliver a wide range of Chuf events, working with the fundraising team to ensure you meet objectives, raise funds, and provide an excellent experience for supporters.

The Events Fundraiser will also provide excellent supporter service to all enquiries from members of the public via phone, mail, in person and online to encourage their support. You’ll feed into social media contributing to successful online awareness and fundraising. You’ll also build and manage relationships with suppliers and gift in kind fundraisers through correspondence, phone calls, invitations and visits.

You’ll be an organised self-starter who can think and act strategically, as well as plan and deliver activity, you’ll have the confident to work with the rest of the team and be collaborative in your approach.

We are looking for a training and development lead who will design and implement our training and conference programmes. You will work with legal and community organisations to understand their legal needs and tailor the training to give lawyers and advisers the tools they need to help their communities. We already have established conferences and a training programme, working with partner organisations to deliver excellent resources but there is a need to develop this further. You will be supported in the role by the Events and Communications Coordinator.

You will lead on the development of a new range of resources for the wider access to justice community with a focus on housing issues. You will also work closely with other staff to re-imagine and represent existing content in new ways. As LAG is at the heart of the social justice lawyering community, the successful candidate will work closely with our partner organisations.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Plan and manage a comprehensive training and conference programme.
• Identify and utilise the most appropriate platforms for delivery of different activity (e.g. in person, e-learning, webinar, podcasts) to make the most effective use of resources and meet customer need.
• · Work with subject matter experts, curating and creating content as needed.
• · Work with and develop relationships with lawyers and advice organisations and community groups to understand their learning needs.
• To develop digital content of the training materials, event video production, design brochures and training materials and keep these up to date and relevant.
• To be the first point of contact and provide first line support for all training and learning.
• Produce project progress reports and regularly review the project plan and budget..
• Support the administration and organisation of all learning and development programmes and events (virtual and in-person) and gather evidence and feedback to measure outcomes and impact of L&D activities.
• Arranging online and in person seminars, conferences, and training.
• Develop a marketing strategy for training and build a social media profile.
• Work with the LAG team to maintain a positive work environment and establish a culture of learning

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on digital marketing scheduling and develop digital marketing strategies and tactics that will enable Samaritans to continue to be effective into the future.
