About the role
As our Transformation Manager for this programme of work you’ll support our migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365, from Blackbaud CRM, and will work closely with our Head of Transformation and Head of Customer Platforms to prepare existing customer data for migration, leading the data quality deliverables and support the creation of an ongoing data governance framework.
Acting as a subject matter expert within the team you’ll gather requirements for the new CRM platform, ensuring that our Customer Platforms team is represented throughout the process.
This is a pivotal role, working and supporting the work of one in shaping how British Heart Foundation (BHF) manage customer relationships, streamline business processes, and drive efficiency across the organisation.
Working arrangements
Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. About you
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of CRM expertise, operational acumen, and a deep understanding of CRMs, including Blackbaud and Dynamics 365 functionality.
With a proven track record in managing CRMs, with a focus on data migration, process optimisation, and user adoption, you’ll have strong knowledge of Blackbaud. It would be advantageous to have Dynamics 365 configuration experience in customisation, and integration, with hands-on experience in migrating data and setting up CRM processes.
You’ll also have a strong understanding of business processes, particularly in charity sector with regards to customer service, and marketing, and how CRM systems like Dynamics 365 can support these functions.
With extensive experience working in operations, with a deep understanding of business workflows and process automation, you’ll have an understanding of data governance and ETL processes, as well as expertise in CRM-related analytics and reporting tools. You’ll also have demonstratable experience in conducting training sessions and workshops to ensure user adoption across different departments.
You’ll also have the following skills and experience:
• Strong written communication skills, able to develop clear, concise user manuals, training materials, and system documentation.
• Able to manage complex projects from conception through to execution, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing donor data within the ThankQ CRM system, supporting financial processes such as income reconciliation, and providing exceptional supporter care through timely and personalised communications. They will work closely with colleagues across fundraising and finance, ensuring that our supporters feel valued and informed about the impact of their contributions.
Responsibilities:
Donor Stewardship and Supporter Engagement
- Serve as the first point of contact for donors, ensuring that all donations are promptly receipted and acknowledged.
- Be responsible for all donor entries and conduct donor research, including KYD (Know Your Donor) statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of Gift Aid declarations/opt-outs and ensure they are saved to the ThankQ CRM system.
- Support mid-level donors interested in increasing their engagement with Chain of Hope.
- Record donor opt-ins/opt-outs on ThankQ and pass relevant information to the Communications Manager.
Data Management and CRM Administration (ThankQ CRM)
- Accurately input and maintain supporter records in the ThankQ CRM system.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with GDPR and fundraising best practices.
- Generate reports and insights to support fundraising strategy and donor stewardship.
- Work with the team to improve CRM processes and ensure effective data usage.
- Conduct quarterly thank you letter audits to ensure consistency and quality in donor communications.
Income Processing and Financial Reconciliation
- Process and reconcile donations, including Direct Debits, Standing Orders, and online giving platforms.
- Maintain accurate records of online giving platform data.
- Ensure each donation is accurately recorded in ThankQ.
- Support the finance team with coding and tracking income across different fundraising streams.
- Produce regular financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly income reconciliation and batch approvals with finance team.
- Support the fundraising manager with quarterly Gift Aid claims.
Fundraising and Events Support
- Provide administrative support for fundraising activities, including challenge events and community fundraising.
- Support the coordination of fundraising events, including guest lists, invitations, and logistics.
General Responsibilities
- Daily: Process ThankQ donations and send thank you letters.
- Weekly: Reconcile income between ThankQ and the bank.
- Monthly: Conduct income reconciliation and batch approvals.
- Quarterly: Submit Gift Aid claims and conduct
About You
This role requires a highly organised individual with strong administrative skills, using a CRM, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with donors. Ideally, you will have fundraising experience to understand the key skills and experiences required for this role

The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser is a key role in our fundraising team, working closely with the wider team, including our Centre Fundraising, Major Gifts and Products and Events teams. The role reports into the Head of Corporate Partnerships. The post holder will have two key aims:
- Driving significant income growth from corporate partnerships, by taking Maggie’s national partnership proposition to businesses to meet ambitious but achievable targets.

In order to achieve these aims, two other key elements of the job will be:

We have collaborated with local NHS partners to offer a unique integrated care service that is at the forefront of Social Prescribing development in London.
MCMW aims to provide information, navigation and support to patients where it is most needed. Our Health and Social Prescribing Co-ordinators are aligned to GP surgeries in our local community and work alongside specialist nurses to provide additional care to older patients.
Each HSPC will care plan for a caseload of patients, contacting individuals at a frequency based upon need and building a relationship over time. What You’ll Do
As Stewardship Manager, you’ll:
- Lead MSF UK’s stewardship programme, ensuring major donors are informed, engaged, and valued.
- Manage and develop the Philanthropy Administrator, supporting smooth team operations.
- Create engaging donor communications, tailored reports, and exclusive events to deepen connections.
- Develop innovative strategies to welcome new donors and ensure lasting relationships.
- Oversee stewardship budgets and collaborate with internal and external teams to maximise donor impact.
