We seek a dynamic leader with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team as Head of Partnerships and Placements on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis. The ideal candidate must excel in building and sustaining partnerships, managing strategic projects, and leading a team to achieve significant results.
You will be allocating 500 placements for Approach Social Work participants and recruiting leaders for and sell other Frontline programmes or services. This is directly linked to achieving Frontline’s organisational objective of having 4,000 impactful Fellows by 2025, who will create social change for children without a safe or stable home.

A little bit about you
The ideal candidate will be an experienced account management and sales professional, skilled in setting and achieving demanding sales targets. We are looking for someone with a strong track record in managing complex projects, leveraging external stakeholder relationships, and and balancing different needs. With excellent people management skills, you will balance support and challenge, and be adept at using data and CRM systems to manage relationships and generate insights.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. PURPOSE OF THE POST/RESPONSIBILITIES
Caudwell Children is a national charity which works to change the lives of disabled and autistic children; change society’s understanding and acceptance of disability; and change public perceptions of the important role that charity plays in society.
Based from the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire, we seek an experienced relationship manager with the ability to identify opportunities and develop relationships to raise funds which support the charity’s expanding service delivery.
Responsible for the ownership and development of corporate supporter relationships, this role will play a pivotal part in helping to grow the charity’s fundraising income and helping to change the lives of autistic and disabled children across the UK and beyond.

About the role
The Senior External Affairs Manager is responsible for overseeing the NHS Confederation’s strategy for how it engages with central government, parliamentarians, political parties and national stakeholders so that the organisation can effectively influence on behalf of its members.

The Triangle of Care UK Programme Lead has responsibility for managing the implementation of the Triangle of Care. This dynamic quality improvement framework, pioneered by carers within secondary mental health settings and now recognised within wider national policy, is based on six principles which health and care providers can use to include and support unpaid carers, staff and those receiving care.
This role is the key point of communication for Triangle of Care members, leading on delivery of the Triangle of Care peer review and accreditation process and working closely with the Director of UK Network & Innovation and Executive Director of Programmes & Impact to grow and diversify the programme, in line with Carers Trust 2022-25 Strategy.

CAFOD’s Major Donor Executive will play a key role in delivering our fundraising programme. They will help develop and implement operational plans, manage a portfolio of existing donors and work to identify prospective new donors and their networks. Key Responsibilities
Donor relationship management
- Develop lasting relationships with existing donors and new prospects, building and managing a portfolio of donors giving £5,000 upwards
- With the Philanthropy Manager and Major Donor Team, devise and implement online and offline communication plans with a clear focus on securing funds for CAFOD’s core programmes
- Steward donors effectively, to ensure satisfaction and long-term commitment. Communicate, thank and report back on the work of CAFOD using donors preferred channels, ensuring the highest standards of donor care
- Ensure systematic data input and management so that key information, donor interactions and communications are appropriately recorded in line with organisational systems and processes, and in compliance with GDPR and fundraising best practice
- Work with the Philanthropy Manager, the Research and Information Team, Senior Management colleagues and Trustees to carry out donor research, identify new prospects and grow the pipeline of donors.
- As part of the team’s wider work, contribute to (and at times lead on) hosting cultivation and stewardship events – including planning event logistics; sending and tracking invitations; hosting and speaking at events; co-ordinating follow-up and completing evaluations
Contribute to Major Donor strategy, plans and income targets
- Contribute to the development of team annual plans and income forecasts
- Maintain focus on your own and teams’ income and other KPIs
- Monitor your portfolio, prepare required analysis for monthly and quarterly reports and regular income forecasting exercises

About you
We are in search of a candidate with expert major donor knowledge and a proven track record in donor management and fundraising. You will have experience soliciting five and ideally six-figure donations and have the ability to develop compelling appeals to raise funds for CAFOD’s core programmes. Additionally, you will comprehensively understand the significance of prospect research and portfolio management. You will have excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, enabling you to foster strong relationships with donors and work colleagues.
Essential criteria for the role will include:
- Proven experience of managing major gift relationships at five-figure giving level
- Experience of implementing donor cultivation and stewardship plans – including online and offline appeals, tailored approaches and feedback communications; face-to-face meetings; event management
- Achieved successful income growth strategies
- Good written and presentations skills that would enable donors to engage with the work of CAFOD
- Good knowledge of how to input and use databases and how to follow systems and processes

We’re embarking on an intensive 3-year fundraising strategy that will enable Westonbirt Arboretum to achieve their 10-year vision. We work with a bid writing agency to secure all major grants, and we’re looking for a Fundraising Manager that can add equal attention to our individual giving strategy. The successful candidate will manage our existing fundraising real estate including our benches, leaves for life, and Wills & legacies campaigns, while adding a fresh view on opportunities for our birthday celebrations next year. We provide mentoring and peer support groups to people in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and the neighbouring boroughs.

JOB PURPOSE
Working with the Managing Director, you will support delivery of our fundraising and impact strategy, supporting us in identifying funding opportunities, submitting bids and ensuring reporting is completed. You will be responsible for maintaining all our communications channels, including social media, updating our website and creating copy and print materials for our programmes. You will help us to share our impact and tell the stories of the mentor and mentees. You will support us to use our data management system, Beacon, to track both our funding pipeline and commitments, as well as our programme impact data. You will analyse and use our data to tell stories that help us improve our work, expand our reach and increase our access to resources.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Funding
- Set up and manage funds on Beacon, our CRM system, tracking opportunities, applications, outcomes, reporting requirements and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Support the delivery of our fundraising strategy, with specific focus on developing a portfolio of sustainable, multi-year grants, trusts and funds and service delivery contracts, while considering how we can expand individual giving, online fundraising and developing corporate relations.
- Income planning, including identifying, prioritising and scheduling funding opportunities.
- Liaising with programme teams to develop proposals for programme development, and gathering engaging information to demonstrate impact in reports.
- Supporting teams to manage monitoring and evaluation requirements for donor and internal purposes, developing and maintaining monitoring frameworks.
- Preparing and submitting proposals and tenders to donors, trusts and funds and government and local government contractors.
- Preparing and submitting timely donor reports in line with contractual requirements.
- Reviewing contracts and ensuring contract compliance.
Communications
- Attending monthly content planning meetings online

An important role within the organisation, the Media and PR Consultant will work very closely with the Director of Policy, Communications and Voice, and be responsible for developing a Media and PR strategy that supports their North Star vision, creating a media roadmap for the coming years, developing foundations of the strategy and advising on operational delivery requirements.

About the role
Young Lives vs Cancer is seeking a highly skilled Media and PR leader to join them on a consultancy basis for a period of three months. The organisation has undertaken a significant piece of research in partnership with other leading children and young people cancer charities and through this research has been able to identify the areas where there are gaps in the system and in the support available to young people with cancer and their families.
The resulting is a vision that Young Lives vs Cancer, alongside partner organisations, wants the children and young people's cancer sector to own and work towards by 2035 and their new strategy has been designed to work towards this aim. Over the next three years the organisation will focus on building their capacity to guide others to work towards achieving that vision together.
As Media and PR Consultant you will lead on the development of a new media and PR strategy. Your role will include:
- Development of a Media and PR strategy
- Analysis of current media presence as well as of opportunities and challenges in the media landscape, informed by the organisational strategy
- Review of current Media Policy and internal relationships and processes, and to provide an overview of the foundations needed to launch an effective Media and PR strategy
- Review and advise on the future of interdependencies between the Media and PR team and other teams across the organisation
- Review of how media and press activity is captured and monitored
- Analysis of current approach to equipping and supporting young people and families to tell their stories in the media
- Development of an approach to establish a quality group of organisational spokespeople
- Identification of target media outlets and influencers
- Development of media messaging matrix and story angles which support organisational strategy
- Creation of a media content calendar and media outreach plan to support organisational strategy - and to dovetail with other communication calendars
- Integration of activity with Brand and Marketing Communications team - in particular Stories, audience strategy, content review, brand messaging development and system influencing engagement approach.
This is an important and senior level role within Young Lives vs Cancer, joining at an important time for the organisation, and we're keen to hear from senior Media and PR leaders who have:
- Previously worked at a senior level, for example Associate Director / Director level within the charity space and who have experience of building new strategies to support organisational goal delivery;
- Experience of galvanising support for that strategy across an organisation, including within the Senior Management Team
