· Proactively establish and nurture a network of businesses, residents, community organisations, and individuals who will contribute time, money, skills, opportunities and connections to ensure a sustainable Giving model for Lewisham.

· Commission or carry out research as necessary to understand unmet need and inform plans to maximise impact.

· Further develop the giving model for Lewisham through co-design with residents and other relevant agencies and monitor and report on their impact.

This is a challenging role, but you will have the satisfaction of working to protect and enhance somewhere with regional and national significance.

You will understand the importance of parks in an inner city environment and have volunteer programing and management skills, along with a record of delivering fundraising income and achieving targets.

Working at Scriptoria

4. Experience using a range of tools to create digital communications materials (e.g. Canva and video editing software; Illustrator and Premier Pro would be an advantage) and content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
5. Understanding of the digital landscape, emerging trends, tools and best practices in social media and digital communications (including SEO, UI, UX, Information Architecture).
6. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing social media, digital and campaign strategies, and using reporting and analytics tools – with proven success in driving engagement and followers.
7. Strong creative flair with a strong understanding of best-practice design principles.
8. Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and cope flexibly with a range of jobs to meet (and exceed) client expectations.
9. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Bedford Mental Health Prevention service for adults which aims to improve people’s mental wellbeing, raise aspirations and enhance confidence.

As Service Coordinator you will be responsible for implementing working recovery models and coordinating the operational plans for the service to ensure that people are able to manage their mental health, move through their recovery journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

Along with coordinating service delivery to meet its aims, objectives and Key Performance Indicators, you will also line manage the service Recovery Workers and lead on recruitment, onboarding and management of volunteers in the service.

About You

The successful candidate will be employed by the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s host organisation, The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts. The new team member will be pivotal in the delivery of the Peatland Programme’s objectives to champion peatland values. They will have the level of knowledge and experience to drive forward and promote peatland restoration in the UK and be able to advocate the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy and effective practice, and communication.

You will lead the production of communications materials through design and appropriate messaging, assist their advocacy work, and plan and deliver events such as online workshops and their annual conference.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about communicating peatlands to a wide audience and is creative and proactive in their approach. The peatland agenda has expanded exponentially over the last 10 years and you will need to be an excellent team player and networker to capture what is happening and communicate this to multiple partners and stakeholders. The Communications and Engagement Lead post is a standalone communications post within a small team (9 people) and your ability to quickly develop good relationships with partner organisations will be critical to your success in the role.

You will be lead on the delivery of the communications strand of the Peatland Programme’s activity. You should have experience of designing publications, creating digital content, newsletters, running stakeholder events and managing social media accounts. • Support Regular Giving and Legacy teams with general administrative and office duties such as booking meeting rooms, organising catering and audio visual facilities.

• Provide diary management and PA support to the Head of Regular Giving and Legacy Giving.

• Support the planning and execution of telethon fundraising campaigns, and direct marketing fundraising appeals, including researching and collating case studies

• Maintain the Regular Giving and Legacy team’s budgets. Ensure budgets are adhered to by reconciling accounts on a monthly basis.

Essential requirements

• Experience of working in a proactive, customer-focused environment.

• Outstanding communications (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with a range of internal and external audiences.

• Excellent organisational skills and time management.

• Methodical approach to work with outstanding attention to detail.

• Ability to work and communicate with colleagues and senior stakeholders at all levels

Salary: Circa £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time, 35 hours per week. Hybrid working model, employees have the option to work from home up to two days per week.
