Role Requirements
Reporting to the Senior Engineer the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will deliver an effective integrated maintenance service, aligned with HSE, Inspection Prevention Control, legislative requirements, CQC and Ofsted standards.
As part of the organization’s maintenance function, the Maintenance Engineer will provide planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, inspections, testing, building alteration and refurbishment works. They will also be required to provide technical and professional advice as necessary to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, to the required quality standard, on time, within budget constraints and in accordance with legal and statutory requirements.
These services will be provided at the Tadworth site and retail units in a shift pattern covering 7 days a week.

Reporting directly to the Head of Service, the Operational Manager will be responsible for leading the process management of Knowsley’s Integrated Youth Service (IYS) Offer. With a strong understanding of young people’s services and a commitment to quality youth work, the post holder will create and maintain effective systems linking face to face interventions with the capturing of robust and accurate outcome measurement data.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the Targeted 1-1 offer as part of the IYS offer in Knowsley including line management of designated staff, financial management, and networking with other key services.
The post holder will support all aspects of the wider IYS ensuring that MYA’s internal systems which govern finance, purchasing, recruitment and quality control are followed closely, while acting as a key figure in connecting Knowsley operations with Head Office and Support Services.
The post holder must hold relevant qualification to at least NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a related subject.

We’re looking for an Enterprise Manager to join our London & South East regional team. You will cover waterways from the busy Regents Canal, Lee Navigation, parts of the Grand Union Canal and Oxford Canal. Our miles of canal provide active travel corridors, opportunities for our communities to improve their wellbeing and blue-green wildlife habitats.
As Enterprise Manager, you will secure external funding through partnerships and bid writing, and support delivery of projects which ‘transform places and enrich lives’. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop potential projects in line with our strategic priorities and be responsible for securing funding to make them happen. You will support our Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle from inception to closure in line with the Trust’s financial reporting process, acting as first point of contact for external funders throughout. You will also act as point of contact and support project development for third parties carrying out active travel and public realm improvements on our land.
At any given time, you will hold a portfolio of varied projects, from towpath and access improvements, as well as habitat improvements, community engagement and heritage conservation.
Location
The role will be based working from home, with the allocation of a nearby Hub for collaborative working in Little Venice. Travel required within the region for site visits, media calls, social media moments, events and meetings.
It is therefore essential that you are able to effectively work from home, whilst also having the flexibility to be mobile when necessary.

Key responsibilities:
- To support activity and work in the region by securing funding for a range of strategic priorities.

- To develop and manage relationships with statutory, charitable, and key partners.
- Lead or contribute to partnerships that generate resources that further to the region’s delivery of waterway maintenance and health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Manage the financial aspects of projects and the funding risks of externally funded projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- To be responsible for output, outcome and impact monitoring and reporting.
- To keep abreast of the funding environment to enable rapid reaction to emerging opportunities.

About you:
This role is based with our London & Southeast team, and we are looking for someone with particular experience and developed networks across this region.Our successful Enterprise Manager may previously have worked in roles such as Partnerships Manager, Development Manager, Fundraising Manager, Partnerships & Fundraising Manager, and will ideally have good knowledge and confidence in identifying and successfully bidding for project funding via government departments, regional agencies, statutory funders, and charitable trusts. Prior experience of statutory funded active travel schemes is desirable.
Technical:
- A proven track record of developing and writing successful funding bids.
- Knowledge of funding environments, including lottery distributors, key statutory funders, trusts and foundations, charitable trusts.
- Experience of strategic relationship, partnership development and management.
- Innovation and creativity, to develop projects from concept to delivery and to match trust priorities with funding.
- Budget and project management experience with the ability to manage financial risk.
- Experience of financial reporting
General:
- Ability to influence, persuade and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – strong presenter.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A collaborative team player.
Valid driving licence as your work will require you to reach locations not easily reached by public transport. Access to a vehicle is essential.

The role will be a hybrid position, based out of one our UK Smart Works centres. but the role will work across Smart Works, providing support and maintaining digital infrastructure across all the teams.

Our Careers Development Managers (CDMs) are the main point of contact for young people on our social mobility programmes. The main focus of the role is the recruitment, development and support of young people into meaningful careers.
CDMs create recruitment networks in their areas and lead bootcamps to improve their employability (e.g. interview techniques) and to enhance their personal and leadership abilities (e.g. critical thinking). Once young people are hired, CDMs use their established relationship to provide pastoral care and in-work support.
LTSB’s vision is A world where all young people can choose their careers, with an emphasis on improving the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. The successful candidate will have a proven commitment to improving the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and they have an excellent understanding of social mobility, diversity and inclusion issues, and how these factors impact young people.
LTSB does not have its own offices, so you will work remotely, but this role has significant in-person delivery expectations at partner organisations and corporate supporters, as well as occasion travel to our city hubs Birmingham, Liverpool, London, and Manchester. Position will require DBS Disclosure at enhanced level.

River Church Ipswich is an HTB Network church plant in the town centre of Ipswich, which launched in September 2021 and has already grown quickly into a thriving resource church, with a congregation of more than 200, and three Sunday services.

- Responsibility for maintenance and development of Resurgo’s website, delivering engaging content with a focus on dynamic visuals and videos, tailored to our different website audiences.

- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education
Line management and training
- Manage the Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
- Be line managed by River Church staff, locally, and by Resurgo, nationally, to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPI.
Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help the Assistant coaches to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
- Ensuring the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church
- Work with the Head of Operations and Fundraising Assistant to prepare successful grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
- Attend and participate in Staff Meeting, Tuesday morning Prayer Meeting, and Sunday Services (serving on a team at one or more Sunday service) • Regularly pray for Spear, River Church, and in particular our Social Transformation work.
- Attending other River Church events and services, occasionally speaking and/or contributing as required • Ad hoc tasks and other project work.
Site management

Job description
Main Responsibilities:
· To act as cover for Senior Maintenance Technician during their absence and undertake line management of maintenance team.
· To perform small repairs such as leaking taps, faulty door locks or jammed windows and general maintenance, including painting and decorating, to maintain and improve upon the standards of the facilities and equipment.
· To plan a schedule of routine checks and implement to ensure faults or damage in facilities and equipment are identified promptly and dealt with within agreed timetable.
· To assist in the preparation of vacant rooms for new residents at our housing establishments.
· Check the repairs database and attend to items listed reporting back to the Facilities Manager when completed.
· To maintain accurate records and logs of any repairs/ checks in accordance with Facilities Manager procedures to evidence work done and to inform future decision making.
· To attend to all remedial maintenance work as discussed with the Facilities Manager

About the position
The GMS Support Manager will be responsible for leading on the day-to-day operations of the Freedom Fund’s new Salesforce Grant Management System. Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum for 21hours / week (= FTE £45,000), dependent on experience.
Hours of work: 3 days = 21 hours / week (excluding breaks). Some flexibility will be required to allow attendance at evening meetings and events.
Benefits: Pension, employer contributions @ 4%. 4 weeks holiday (plus bank holidays) – pro rata, increasing after 5 years’ service. Training provided and training plan developed with individual.
