We are a looking for an experienced and highly motivated Programme Lead: Enterprise who will be responsible for bringing a unit on the Trust’s land back into operation as a functioning venue and subsequently will be responsible for the management and programming of the dual-use space for community and commercial use, including looking for opportunities to enhance the potential of the venue through creative methods. You will also lead, motivate and organise a team of sessional and contract staff to effectively run the space.
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the operations of the venue(s), ensuring effective running of the space for community and commercial use.
- Educating community bookings on profit-making opportunities for events held at the venues.
- Managing and coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including a team of sessional and contract staff specifically trained to help run the venue.
- With the facilities team, ensure compliance with contracts, agreements, health and safety legislation in relation to your events and the venue.
- Maintaining good systems and records in relation to data collection, management and implementation of initiatives for which you are responsible and via templates for feedback on community bookings.
- Managing any partnership agreements and reporting against agreed outcomes and objectives.
- Responsibility for budget management and reporting.
Experience, knowledge and skills:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience of managing a venue.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering events within venues.
- Experience of managing and reporting on substantial budgets.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- The ability to provide a friendly and efficient service, with an aptitude for working in a complex and fast changing environment.
- The ability to work flexibly in some cases, in line with project needs.
- The ability to work with diverse communities and in a diverse environment.
- A good understanding of the local area, is desirable.

Community Development and Wind Farm Manager
Location: Hybrid, based in Uist, with a desk at old Lochmaddy School, North Uist.

You will have experience of partnership working, especially with community groups and associated stakeholders, and of working with and supporting voluntary trustees. You will also have excellent communication, coordination and facilitation skills, alongside attention to detail and demonstrable ability to understand, utilise and interpret complex technical and financial information. We are a registered provider to local GPs and an organisational member of the Childhood Bereavement Network. Role Requirements
- Working alongside the Head of Public Fundraising, you will strengthen and implement business planning, pipeline and budgeting processes as well as devise comprehensive audience-led stewardship plans, maintaining momentum and focus to achieve targets.

- Work across the Retail, Fundraising and Communications directorate to maximise opportunities for contact mapping, cross-sell and support the activity of other teams within the directorate (including but not limited to stock donations, sponsorship of committee-led events, pro bono support, gifts in kind etc.)
- Be responsible for the implementation of the budgets and delivery of income and expenditure against the plans

Purpose of role
The International Board are seeking a senior International Fundraising Director with significant experience in major donor fundraising who will help drive the organisation’s fundraising strategy by strengthening and diversifying its fundraising sources. The Mission requires an experienced leader with a proven track record in international fundraising who will inspire our teams to differentiate and grow income as the organisation enters a new phase of strategic growth. The International Fundraising Director – with this focus on Major Donors - will provide leadership, oversight and guidance to the Mission’s national country fundraising directors - working with the International Director of Communication and Individual Fundraising and the wider fundraising team. They will work with major international donors and engage with field countries on targeted local fundraising and impact reporting.
As a strong communicator and strategic thinker with significant practical and direct fundraising experience, this Director will serve as a key member of the International Executive Team and report to the CEO and indirectly, the Mission Without Borders (MWB) International Board. They will have significant practical experience working with major donors, trusts and foundations, institutional and corporate fundraising.
Primary responsibilities
Donor development and outreach
· To provide strategic direction, leadership and drive for fundraising in all new development areas across the Mission. They will have direct responsibility for raising funds at the international level, leading cross organizational initiatives with a specific focus on major donors, trusts, and foundations - as this is currently an underdeveloped source of income for the Mission.
· Create coherent strategic plans for driving income growth, diversifying income sources and improving donor engagement, with a focus on major donors.
· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures, particularly around major donors to ensure local and international consistency and compliance.
· Drive a relational fundraising culture by implementing systems and reporting to deliver effective supporter journeys with a focus on major donors.

Job Summary
CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.
The Family Team Lead will assist the Family Service Manager in overseeing the operational running and leadership and management of our Family Team at our centre in Eastcote.
The Family Team Lead will be responsible for the line management of some of our Family Support Workers, as well as the direct delivery of services, including being the lead facilitator on some of our parenting courses. As such, we are looking for a friendly, organised and hard-working individual. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and a drive to ensure everyone who seeks support from us has the best possible experience. If you’re passionate about supporting neurodivergent people and their families, then this is an ideal opportunity for you.
There is no requirement for any experience of, or understanding of, autism / ADHD, as we will provide training on the conditions. The Vacancy
The Programme Development Manager is committed to supporting colleagues and partners in programme design and development. The team also connects programmatic issues and global policy and advocacy to ensure they are complementary and conducive to external change based on evidence from the ground.
Saferworld’s income is secured primarily from statutory and institutional donors; however, securing funding to support our partners in conflict-affected countries and allow for more flexible programming increasingly requires a more diverse funding base. The Programme Development Manager will support efforts to identify and secure funds from statutory donors, trusts and foundations, and other non-traditional funding mechanisms.
The Programme Development Manager will support a portfolio of Saferworld’s teams in designing and mobilising funding for peace, security and justice programmes. The successful applicant will have a focus of approximately 4 countries, which will be decided based on the candidate’s experience and preference. Working closely with Country Managers/Directors, and programme and grant management colleagues, the post-holder will lead on: coordinating and facilitating programme development processes (including taking the lead in drafting high quality concept notes and proposals, theories of change, logical models, risk matrixes and budgets); developing and supporting the implementation of long-term country funding strategies and donor engagement strategies; and supporting new donor engagement and sustaining relationships with current donors. The post-holder will be responsible for growing institutional funding portfolios in our programmes.
The post-holder will have a successful track record in developing programmes and leading new business development efforts with institutional donors such as the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), United States Government (USG)/United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Union (EU), UN agencies and European Governments such as Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). Additional experience in mobilising resource from trusts and foundations and other non-traditional funding mechanisms is desirable.
