Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental or physical health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
We are recruiting an employment worker, with lived experience of mental health, to join our employment service in the London Borough of Enfield.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to help people progress towards their employment goals. You will receive training in pre-employment and signposting, and in supporting people with mental health issues. Ideally you will have experience of peer support and have a relevant qualification but we can arrange training if needed.
You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to have good organisational and research skills as you will be arranging training, accessing volunteering and work experience opportunities according to client action plans.
The role involves hybrid working and is for 35 hours per week.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in progressing towards their employment goals. You will deliver pre-employment and employment support; providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local organisations to enable clients to access opportunities
You will work closely with clinical teams, the DWP and local agencies, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led. You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

Specialist Support Workers within Look Ahead are required to have either an extra dimension of experience or a higher qualification level as determined relevant for the particular post. London Legal Support Trust’s mission is to help free legal advice providers in London and the South East be more resilient and sustainable. Through grants, advice and infrastructure development, we help to ensure they can continue providing vital and life-changing legal advice to people who otherwise could not afford to defend their rights.
Access to justice is a fundamental right; without it people are at risk in almost every aspect of their lives, from employment to housing and everything in between. Our partners, the legal advice centres, help thousands of people every year to access justice and to have their voices heard.
- We support law centres and other legal advice agencies in London and the South East by providing them with grant funding alongside other forms of support.
- We offer our knowledge and experience of the sector to help legal advice agencies become more sustainable.
- We work in partnership with other grant-making bodies to get vital funds out to charities and civil society organisations, to help people that face challenges such as lack of food, isolation, debt, homelessness, domestic violence and mental ill-health.
We raise funds for this work, predominantly through mass-participation fundraising events. Our biggest event, The London Legal Walk, is the biggest event fundraiser in the legal calendar. About the role
We are recruiting a Programmes Manager to work across projects in our Sector Support programme. The Role of New Worshipping Communities Coordinator
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with both good administration and people skills to join us and provide support to the Director of New Worshipping Communities as we work to launch 150 New Worshipping Communities. The role has a focus on the creation and facilitation of learning community events to support leaders of New Worshipping Communities.
The main responsibilities of the New Worshipping Communities Coordinator are:
Working with the Director of New Worshipping Communities on the logistics of event organising, liaising with contributors and attendees and assisting with publicity. Facilitating Learning Communities through working with the national Myriad team and local Mission Hub leaders to put together excellent support for pioneering lay leaders.

About the role
Sightsavers are seeking for a Research Assistant to support our new Research and Evidence Uptake Strategy which identifies technological innovations as a new priority area. In the next strategic period, we aim to develop and implement strategies for digital enhancement of our research approaches and programmes to maximise the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of our work.
The Research Assistant will have an understanding of data and digital technology space and how to apply them in low- income countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. They will work alongside other members of the Research team to identify opportunities and develop and test digital solutions to enhance our programmes and research. The immediate opportunities include digital support for inclusive education programmes in Kenya and Sierra Leone and neglected tropical disease programmes in Ghana and Mozambique. There will also be opportunities to be involved in research using traditional quantitative and qualitative methods, including health system assessments, surveys and focus group discussions.

As the successful candidate you will possess a postgraduate degree in data sciences, data management or other related fields, and have good knowledge and experience of working with data systems and platforms in Sub-Sharan Africa context, which is essential for this role.
Further requirements include:
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Understanding and experience of novel tools using statistics, mathematics, and machine learning approaches for data analysis.
- Experience in basic and advanced analytical techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Understanding of the key research methods and research governance.
- Ability to travel - on planned visits, for up to 10 weeks of the year, in sometimes difficult locations.
