What Will You Do?
In this role, you’ll:
Develop and deliver the communications strategy, ensuring all campaigns and content align with our mission.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Finance & Operations Coordinator
Reporting to: Business Development & Operations Manager
About the role
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants their work to contribute to the effective operational running of the organisation. You will provide a vital link across Collaborate and so you’ll need to be a good communicator and collaborator. You will liaise with our project and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our information, to support good management and decision-making. Your work will help us to ensure that we are managing our project budgets appropriately, particularly in relation to expenses and sub-contractor (Associate) costs.
We’re looking for a highly numerate and well-organised person, someone who enjoys working with data, with impeccable attention to detail and who is eager to support our finance and operations functions.
As with all of our roles, you should seek to embody the values of the organisation in all that you do.
Job responsibilities
You will be supported by and work closely with the Business Development & Operations Manager and will liaise with our bookkeeper.
Your day-to-day role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Finances

Ensuring our financial records are complete and accurate.

Processing and approving the team’s monthly expenses.

Liaising with project teams to ensure project expenses budgets are managed effectively.

Processing and ensuring our Associates’ invoices are approved and paid each month.

Help to develop a new process for approval and payment of our other supplier invoices and will then take on responsibility for that approvals process.

Managing our invoice schedule, ensuring that we are invoicing for our projects in a timely way

Liaising with our bookkeeper to maintain the finance inbox, responding to some queries and escalating others where necessary.

Informing clients when payments have been received and sending reminders for payment as payment terms are approaching.

Liaising with clients (particularly new clients) to ensure that we are set up as a supplier, purchase order numbers are raised to enable us to invoice and that the necessary processes are followed to enable us to be paid for our projects.

Working with the Director of Finance & Operations to identify, develop and implement improvements to our financial processes and systems.

Developing and sharing updates on finances as required, e.g. monthly cashflow updates for the Executive Directors
Operations

Ensuring clarity and accuracy on CMAP (our project platform - NB no prior knowledge of this is expected!) for our projects to ensure:

Accurate expense handling, to ensure they’re charged correctly to our clients

Associate budget allocations are correct and up-to-date

Contract budgets match the project budgets and our invoice schedule

Checks are carried out before projects are closed

You may also be asked to help with other support, checks or analysis to support our smooth project management and oversight

Acting as key points of liaison between the project teams and the bookkeeper wherever possible and escalating to the BD & Ops Manager and/or the Director of Finance & Ops where needed.

BGCI is seeking to appoint a Global Conservation Consortia (GCC) Manager who will co-ordinate and support delivery of the consortia activities (see below). This will include the establishment, consolidation and development of global conservation consortia, providing support and guidance to facilitate practical implementation of international plant conservation across the BGCI network. The Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London (RAMFEL), is a not-for-profit organisation and one of the largest immigration and asylum advice charities in the UK, supporting refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants to access justice. An OISC level 3 accredited organisation, our focus is on providing immigration advice, destitution services, integration support and campaigning to improve the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants across London and Essex. We also actively campaign for a fairer and more humane immigration system.

You will be capable of supporting colleagues at all levels and improving their financial understanding of the projects they are involved in. You will be a self-motivated individual who can work on your own initiative. This role is central to maintaining our financial health and advancing our mission. You will oversee budgets, forecasting and management accounts while ensuring robust financial systems are in place. This role is for someone who wants to have a positive impact on the lives of people and help drive this organisation forward.
Terms: £37,500 - 45,000 per annum / negotiable depending on experience. 28 days annual leave plus statutory holidays, 6% pension contribution, cycle to work scheme, tech scheme, and employee assistance program.

What you'll be doing:
This is a one year fixed-term contract which may be extended subject to project development and funding. The South-East Pine Marten Restoration Project aims to sustainably restore European Pine Marten to south-east England through Pine Marten conservation translocation, landholder support, and public engagement. The Project Lead will be responsible for driving the project development and planning and, subject to the assessment outcomes and required approvals, implement Pine Marten conservation translocation and post-release monitoring to ensure a successful and sustainable outcome. The role will co-lead the project with Wildwood Trust under a MoU, collaborate with project partners and stakeholders, and engage with statutory agencies and expert advisors. The role will use the latest evidence to develop and deliver innovations, best practice, and legal compliance to support a
sustainable Pine Marten conservation translocation.
You will:
- Coordinate the ecological feasibility and social feasibility assessments with relevant internal project teams, partners, stakeholders, and landowners.
- Secure legal compliance for Pine Marten conservation translocation to the south-east.
- Subject to the outcome of feasibility assessments and legal compliance, develop and implement the Pine Marten conservation translocation strategy in alignment with IUCN Conservation Translocation Guidelines (2013) and Defra Conservation Translocation Guidelines (July 2024).
- With advice of Pine Marten specialists and project teams, design and deliver ecological and behavioural research and practical works to evaluate and support Pine Marten translocation success and mitigate potential socio-ecological impacts.
What we need you to bring:
- Experience of complex project management and ability to deliver projects to schedule and budget, with good organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrable ability to work as part of a close, multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience in collaborative working and networking with multiple partners, peers, and experts in diverse disciplines, including with regulators on policy issues.

The Data Selections Manager will lead the data selections function in the Data and Analytics team. You will be responsible for ensuring all data selections are delivered to a high standard for communications to ARUK supporters. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Lead the Data Selections Team to deliver team and personal goals whilst ensuring appropriate development plans and opportunities are in place
· Responsible for ensuring all data selections are produced in an accurate, consistent and timely fashion, in accordance with agreed data selection briefs and deadlines

· Play a leading role in the planning of the calendar to manage communication activities

What we are looking for:

Over the next six years, the Diocese of St Asaph is embarking on an ambitious growth programme to extend our ministry in local communities.
To support this work, we need to develop, deliver and embed an income-generation strategy for our growth projects to help our churches and Mission Areas to achieve financial sustainability for the future.

We are looking to appoint a Volunteer Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Neuro Changemakers programme. These are currently delivered through our In-house repairs team and external contractors. Awareness of regulatory requirements is essential, and you will need to embrace IT. There will be regular contact and liaison with our Inhouse Repairs Team, Transform staff, external contractors, and clients, so good communication skills are required.
The role will involve frequent travel across our stock portfolio, so you will need to have suitable transportation. This is also a hybrid role, but there will be a need to be in our various offices as and when required.

• Experience in delivering and managing statutory servicing and inspection regimes within the sector.
