As a Community Support Worker, you will work alongside the Community Hub Service Manager, providing frontline support to individuals and families who come to the Makery for help. This role requires proven experience in safeguarding, crisis intervention, and advocacy, as well as the ability to risk assess and respond appropriately to a range of situations.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Frontline Support & Safeguarding
• Providing immediate crisis support, signposting, and making referrals to specialist services.

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced, and adaptable individual who:

Qualifications and Experience (Essential):
• Educational Background: Possession of an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in fields such as Mental Health, Community Work, Psychology, Youth Work, or other related disciplines.
• Safeguarding Certification: Holding a Level 3 or 4 Safeguarding certification, qualifying them to serve as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in community engagement, mental health support, or outreach work, specifically within community settings rather than traditional care environments.
• Skill Set: Proficiency in applying safeguarding measures, trauma-informed care approaches, and mental health support strategies.
• Community Engagement: Proven ability to support vulnerable individuals, engage effectively with diverse communities, and implement programs that promote mental well-being.

Job Purpose
This is an exciting time to join our small and impactful team, as we embark on a new four-year strategy. The Programme and Systems Coordinator will be the first point of contact for our families, managing the operations and coordination of our tuition hubs across England, while supporting the development and maintenance of our digital systems that are critical to delivery, quality and impact.
The Programme and Systems Coordinator will ensure that core programmes run smoothly to maximise our stakeholders’ experience and build capacity within the wider Programmes team. You will be responsible for supporting pupil outreach and registration, managing parent communications, and ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of our programmes through data gathering, organisation and analysis. A core aspect of this role will be to support our SMT tech lead to deliver and embed vital systems transformation work over the next three years. This systems development is a business critical priority to underpin growth of our programmes, while maintaining strong relationships and engagement with families and tutors. As such, this role will be a tech advocate within TU, pushing the automation and continuous improvement of our key delivery systems both old and new, to increase efficiency and impact.

The Development Officer (Individuals) is a key role in the Development and Alumni Relations team. The post-holder will work within the team focusing on individual giving activity with a specific remit to raise unrestricted philanthropic income and acquire new donors to the Guildhall School through a range of fundraising programmes. Leadership and Strategy
In collaboration with the Principal and SMT, translate the Hall’s vision and mission into a tangible and achievable strategic plan. In particular, the Bursar will be responsible for delivering the Hall's operational objectives.
Develop a comprehensive financial strategy for the Hall, working closely with the Senior Management Team and Finance Committee. This strategy should maximise the value of the Hall's assets and identify opportunities for income generation, consistent with the Hall's ethos.
Oversee the implementation of any site and building development plans, coordinating with the project manager, architect, and other specialists as necessary.
In partnership with the Principal and Chair of Trustees, assist in formulating agendas and planning actions for the Senior Management Team (SMT) and Hall Council.

Remuneration and Benefits
Salary: The salary is between £65,000 and £75,000 p.a. (FTE), depending on experience. This post is offered subject to the satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period and the capability and disciplinary provisions in the employee handbook.
Pension: Wycliffe Hall will contribute an amount equal to 10% of salary to a Group Personal Pension Scheme.
Working hours: The role has hitherto been a full-time role; however, we would be very open to considering applications from those looking for full-time or part-time positions.
Place of Work: Wycliffe Hall, 54 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 6PW. There is some flexibility to support appropriate home working although the expectation is that this role requires regular on- site presence.
Notice Period: The standard notice period is three months.
Holidays: Initially, 25 days per year (FTE), in accordance with the College Holiday Policy, in addition to public holidays, which, if these fall during college term, may need to be taken at an agreed time during vacations.
Meals in College: The appointee will be entitled to free college meals during working hours except when the kitchen is closed.

We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and support residents into independent accommodation. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building.
We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Cook Road, Horsham team, who will hold a caseload of residents and meet with them weekly to build a support plan. Main areas of responsibilities are:
Housing
- Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living.
- Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law.
- Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team.
Coaching and Engagement
- Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
- Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community.
- Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
- Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance).
General
- Work as part of a team, on a rota shift pattern, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective, and supportive staff during the day/evening, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
- Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations.
- Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice.

Providence Row Housing Association has been helping homeless people in East London since 1860. We provide social housing along with excellent services that aim to support homeless people with complex needs and enable their recovery. We remain committed to our East London roots and currently serve the communities in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and the City of London.
Our Senior Substance Misuse Worker works alongside members of the support team to create a safe and welcoming environment within a psychologically informed environment. You will contribute to the development of the recovery hub, by providing expertise in alcohol and drug misuse. Taking a lead role in delivering training/ advising staff on substance misuse issues, liaison with substance misuse agencies, facilitating multidisciplinary case conferences and negotiating access to detox and treatment services. Carrying out assessments of drug and alcohol usage with key clients, delivering brief and extended interventions, outlining risks, advice on harm minimisation and refer to specialist agencies.
You will also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.
You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of strengths, needs, and risks they experience. Be competent with computer systems, and comfortable completing regular performance reports. The Senior Substance Misuse Worker is a day shift based role with evening and weekend working.
