Outline of service:
Gaddum and Manchester Mind have come together to provide a new and innovative service which will support people to leave inpatient mental health settings and return to their community with the support they need to recover and remain well.
As a team, we will deliver psycho-social interventions, advocacy, housing and welfare rights advice and peer support. There will also be tailored support to young people (those under the age of 25). All we do is underpinned by listening and ensuring people feel heard – because we know that when people are listened to, they recover. The team will be working with colleagues within the mental health, primary care, inpatient and community sectors.
Job Purpose of Senior Administrator:
To provide high quality administrative support to the Discharge from Hospital Team – this will be a team based between Manchester Mind and Gaddum.
Your role will provide much needed support for monitoring, data and evaluation requirements of the service and the management of inbound webform referrals (including outcome/ feedback forms on our case management system).
You will also respond to or delegate emails and voicemails to the service appropriately, requiring a good knowledge of the service. You will also support the Service Manager with the improvement and development of administrative and reporting functions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Administration and Project Support
• To complete specific tasks allocated through work plans and project plans, independently.
• To manage resources of the service, maintaining the resources folder, ultimately ensuring people have the right information where and when they need it.
• To amend and update resources as needed on Canva, developing and updating them as required.
• Support the development of communication materials including Easy Read Guides with support from Service Manager.
• To coordinate the arrangement of meetings, conferences and other events.
• To minute and keep a record of meetings as required.
• To manage the purchasing of service and employee resources as required using Gaddum finance processes.
• To curate online resources, internally and externally.
• To develop and maintain administrative systems as needed.
Reporting and Monitoring
• To compile data as requested to assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reports as requested following standard operating procedures
• To run reports as appropriate using agreed databases (such as, but not limited to, NHS and Local Authority) databases.
• To build, run and amend reports to meet changing reporting requirements.
• To ensure data relating to client contact are accurately recorded on our case management system (such as, but not limited to, referral and feedback forms).
• To use Microsoft Excel and any other appropriate system to review and manage reports in line with data reporting requirements.
• To input outcome monitoring forms accurately on to case management systems from a range of mediums including online forms, paper form and other formats as preferred by the client.
• In respect of data entry, identify and support the organisation’s migration into technological solutions that remove the need for third person data input.
• Ensure best practice Information Governance approaches are in place to maintain the best data management systems possible – ensuring compliance with the Information Commissioner’s Office and Gaddum’s Information Governance Framework.
Managing referrals and maintaining records
• Process inbound webform referrals, checking for accuracy, duplication and completeness of data.
• Support, alongside colleagues, the development of referral routes that align with service needs.
• Identify gaps in completeness of data for reporting requirements and develop solutions to address them going forward (e.g. identifying training options to upskill colleagues).
• Ensure best practice Information Governance approaches are in place to maintain the best data management systems possible – ensuring compliance with the Information Commissioner’s Office and Gaddum’s Information Governance Framework. Communication with clients and professionals

Purpose of the role
As our 2020-25 strategy draws to a close, we are seeking a dynamic and insightful consultant(s) to provide expert strategy support and facilitation that will result in the development of Praxis’ next Strategic Plan 2026-31. The consultant(s) will play a key role in helping us clarify our mission, set actionable goals, and develop a comprehensive strategy that aligns with our vision for the future.This process will help us focus our efforts and resources on securing the most impactful change for migrants and refugees at risk of destitution and homelessness. Undertaking this process now will help us ensure that our organisation is in a strong position to respond to future challenges including increasing hostility towards migrant communities, deepening economic inequality and the ongoing housing crisis.
Objectives of the consultancy

Rainbow Migration, the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system, is recruiting a Legal Officer to advise and help improve the representation of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and help change the asylum and immigration system to one that treats everyone with compassion, dignity and respect.
We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with valid practising certificate, or already accredited to Level 3 IAA (OISC), with two years’ experience in providing advice and representation in asylum including working in legal aid.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the legal advice service. Under the guidance of our Legal Service Manager, you will also build capacity amongst legal representatives by designing and delivering training, giving second tier advice and developing and coordinating a network of practitioners working in this area. You will use the knowledge you gain in this role to help deliver Rainbow Migration’s policy work, such as inputting into policy papers and meeting with partner organisations when required.
We will also consider applications from people who do not want to do the policy elements of the job, but to instead focus on first and second tier advice. Please mention in your covering letter if you are applying for this option.
This is a unique opportunity to build on your experience as a lawyer to improve representation across the sector and create change in government policy and practice. You will be supported to develop as a specialist lawyer and in your policy skills.
Responsibilities will include:
· Deliver one-off advice to adult LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and work with colleagues to refer them to quality legal aid and pro bono lawyers
· Provide casework assistance e.g. helping to prepare witness statements, making referrals to other specialist organisations and taking other urgent steps (whilst not representing service users or maintaining a caseload)
· Provide occasional advice (within competence) on other issues affecting asylum and partnership service users such as asylum support, legal aid, trafficking, family reunion or community care
· Deliver second tier advice to the legal representatives of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and other charities and professionals
· Work with the Legal Service Manager to design and deliver training to lawyers, NGOs and other professionals
· Write blogs and articles on asylum and immigration policy and legislation as they apply to LGBTQI+ people
· Contribute to policy and briefing papers
· Assist with preparing guidelines and briefings for legal services and pro bono lawyers
The Legal Officer will not be providing direct legal representation of service users. However, the role includes substantive advice and casework within the scope of legal support and referrals for our service users, as well as merits testing and second tier advice.

Private Sector Partnerships Division
The Private Sector Partnerships Division (PSP) sits within the Office of Partnerships, Advocacy and Communications under the overall oversight of the Director General. PSP builds partnerships with the private sector that enable IOM's strategic priorities and engage the private sector as a key stakeholder in migration through impactful and innovative partnerships. PSP leads strategic outreach and engagement with the private sector and provides Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices with assistance and expertise relating to initiating, establishing and maintaining partnerships with the private sector. The role is a key part of the Doctors of the World (DOTW) UK Policy and Advocacy team, contributing to the implementation of our three-year strategy and maximising the impact of our policy and advocacy function. Opportunity Description
The Normalizing Migration opportunity focuses on building new pathways for legal migration to help the world’s most vulnerable people relocate to safety and prosperity. We aim to do this in ways that mitigate threats to democracies by devolving power to local actors, building public confidence in inclusive immigration systems, and diminishing the ability of authoritarians to use migration as a wedge issue. We build support for legal pathways across diverse constituencies, seeking to understand and shape public attitudes and foster a less divisive, more inclusive, and coordinated movement to influence and hold governments accountable for increasing legal pathways for vulnerable migrants. We also pilot innovations in technology and policy that drive power to the local level, creating policies and systems that empower local actors to support and sponsor migrants in growing numbers, generating proof that more functional migration systems are popular and possible.
The aim of opportunities is to dynamically organize staff, strategies, and budgets around the demands of each opportunity. It balances the need for sustained attention to complex problems and demands rigorous planning and evaluation, while also providing leaders with the autonomy to pursue radical ideas and approaches.
Role Purpose
The Program Manager will be responsible for day-to-day liaison and coordination with grantee and partner organizations in the United States.
